A Black Spec In The Distance

Helska IV

Korlen looked at his ship as he sat on the frozen planet of Helska IV. He had a straight face as per usual. His reason for going all the way out here was to explore what the Primeval had conquered. Maybe it was a waste of time, but Korlen had nothing to do anyways. He had no special position in the Primeval so what use was it hanging around in the fleet all day.

The planet he stood on was cold, icy, and vast. It was nice. Probably one of the most favorite of his finds as a member of the faction. He put his hands in his trench coat's pockets as he started to walk in one direction. His outfit wasn't the most appropriate for an icy planet but he liked it. That's all he cared about. Korlen, from a distance, might look like a tiny spec for he wore all black.

He joined another tiny black spec in the distance.

Helska IV was not the first frozen tundra planet Loxa had visited, but it would be the first that she would visit without the intentions of joining a feud. Or starting one, for that matter.

Nay, it was her journey of walking blind that brought her here several days ago. A journey that had eluded her for some time due to the silence of the voices in her thoughts. For months now she could not hear the whispers of the Gods no matter how quietly she listened. Not until speaking with the Host Lord had she heard even a distant echo.

Walk blind, the Host Lord bid her, know your purpose.

That faint sound on the tattered edges of the nethers lured her here and it was here that she remained. Waiting, listening, meditating. On the frosted horizon her presence glowed as a beacon within the Force. Bright, warm, powerful, luring the vagrant wanderer.

Walking slowly savoring each step on the ground, he suddenly sensed a strong presence. This powerful aura caught Korlen's attention. Curious, like most who would sense it, he looked for the location of it. It seemed to be straight ahead of him.

Korlen began to wander closer and closer to this aura which captivated him almost completely. It seemed normal in his eyes that anyone would want to meet something stronger than them self. There came a price however, the one stronger than them could very well be the one who ends their life.

Hopefully, this wouldn't happen. Korlen couldn't help but think that though. He was getting really close the the figure. It wasn't moving that much or making any sounds. Maybe meditating? If so, interrupting meditation would be very rude from experience. Not very used to being social, Korlen just sat down on the ice about twenty feet away.

He had to be careful. Even if this was the Primeval's.

The winds picked up, whipping across the open tundra like a wild animal giving chase. The bitter cold was absolute - clinging to exposed flesh and sinking deep down to the bone. Loxa stood within a sphere of stillness that did not quite extend to her visitor. It might've been welcoming were he effected by the inclement weather.

She felt him there, his presence buzzing at her meditation like a fly, but she was not bothered by him nor distracted for Loxa was deep in silent conversation with those elusive divines she so desperately sought to find again.

Why here?

Why now?

Something had drawn her here but still the purpose, the fate eluded her. Strive to touch the stars and one might reach just a bit too far...

Search near.

Pale glowing saffron eyes flickered open, taking in the stark landscape of white beyond her sphere in a wincing stare. There was a cavern system in the distance, hidden deep within a fissure of ice - how she knew this one could not say. The powers of the galaxy had a strange way of revealing themselves.

"This one feels you watching," she said, her voice carrying over the howling gusts, "come."

Without looking back the Priestess stepped off in the direction of intuition, sphere of influence and stillness following with her.

The wind just... spoke? With as many applications of the force there was in the galaxy, Korlen found this one really odd. Wait.. was the winds even talking to him? Either way, he knew not to approach the figure. From the voice of the wind, it seemed the figure was a female. At least he knew how to greet her if she began to talk to him... well, verbally that is. Not through the winds.

He sat there wings relaxed and not moving as she continued to meditate. Whatever happened next would be interesting in the least. If something happened.
