A bird in the bush...

Duros.jpg
Location: Outer Rim, Planet Not Disclosed
Target: Aelon the Durosian, Arms Dealer & Small Time Smuggler
It had been a long, long time since Ijaat had been on a true bounty hunt and the thrill of it kept his eyes wide as his patrol craft sailed down to the planet surface below. It was some backwater station in the Outer Rim, he wasn't even sure of the name really, it started with a 'P', or maybe a 'Q'... The important part of it was the bounty itself this time. Ijaat didn't know this Aelon personally, which was probably a good thing. But the Durosian had been caught dealing and smuggling illegal arms. A few of them, somehow, were prototypes of Ijaat's, things that had been personal projects of his before he had staged his exit from the Galactic limelight.

The fact that someone at his company had betrayed him, and if they had accessed his personal lab it was one of his more trusted apprentices, set his blood to boiling really. In that regard, though most would not really know it, he had come on this mission loaded in full capacity. Thanks to his new and mostly hidden or unknown abilities, he walked in a simple pristine white coat, breeches, and gloves. Jatharesa, his sword he had pried from the hand of a Netherworld denzien, rode in the wrappings of a simple white cotton baldric, resting right against his left hip.

Strapped to his back in a white duraplast scabbard was his haymaker, both hammers cocked and the weapon humming with a charge. Running opposite of that was a massive and brutal looking hammer on a leather baldric as well, , and in small pockets at the cuff of his wrists were the new knuckle-dusters his company had designed, one of each kind, and in the small of his back under his coat but above the undershirt was a hold-out blaster designed particularly for droids, the DE-10's strapped to his thighs as always.

A friend of him had once jokingly told him he carried too many weapons, but there were few situations wherein Ijaat was found unprepared... The only thing he really needed to develop a more habitual carry of was explosives. But even then, he had ways of overcoming that... Even the thought of it made his skin itch as the ooglith within stirred like some symbiotic beast whining to be unleashed. A frustrated thought banished it and the itching stopped as the patrol craft shut down.

Slipping the shadez down over his eyes, he smiled as the HUD features of the sunglasses activated with simple data overlay and a small voice piqued in his ear, Geoff speaking to him from the patrol craft and relaying data on the bounty. Scanning, Ijaat idly took up a rolling gait down the landing ramp, flipping a spare credit to the security personnel running to inspect his ship. Almost without hesitation, they turned around and ceased their process, simply lounging about.

Usually he wouldn't have paid them thus, but it was needed to make this go quick. Picking up his pace, he turned left from his ship and began heading to a set of apartment habs, where supposedly the target had been hiding out, peddling wares. He had set up an appointment under a false name, now just to hope he was the first there. IF not, he'd have a little fun ahead of him.

It was going to be a long day that's for sure. Even longer for Keegan. this was, essentially, his first mark. A Durosian by the name of Aelon was the target. Keegan studied the guy for several days. Arms dealer and a bit of a smuggler. Just your usual start-up scum of the galaxy. The payout wasn't all that great, but who cares? Keegan was in it for the thrill of the hunt. So, he got in contact with one of his eyes and ears out there. A snitch, if you will. He gace him some good intel on the guy. Even where to find him. With that, Keegan made his way to Aelon's last known location.

The freighter landed in the spaceport and the lone mercenary left his ship and began walking down the street towards a apartment complex Aelon was last seen at.

"Let the games begin..."
