Description: The A-2 Battle droid stands greatly taller than the A-1 Battle droid and it contains much stronger armor platting and weaponry. The A-2 Battle Droid contains fragile sensor's under it's double layered DuraSteel platting. The sensors run along the inside of the chest and along the inside if the back allowing the droid to sense nearby enemies within 3.50 meters of it. The A-2 Battle Droid has two layers of DuraSteel armor platting. The first layer stands at 3 centimeters thick while the second layer is only 1 centimeter thick. The A-2 also contains one single sensor usually being the color of turquoise and this is the main way the droid is able to find it's enemies, excluding the fragile sensors. Usually, the A-2 Battle Droid will have two wrist blasters set upon each wrist, and the hands are that of grasping five-digit fingers that will allow the droid to hold various objects. Although, at times the A-2 has neither of the wrist blasters and instead had a cannon arm, or a arm with a rocket launcher being the half end of it to cause more damage. Although, the rocket launcher A-2 is slower due to the wight of it's rocket launcher and it's weapons can be disarmed if it's cannon arm is cut off from the body. Some strengths of this droid are that, it has good armoring and weaponry and that it doesn't use a droid command signal making it more independent then the A-1 droids and it won't shut off if the command symbol shuts off. Some of the droid's weaknesses are that, it is slow upon the battlefield and that it isn't as intelligent as it's smaller cousin, the A-1, causing it to employ tactics only when given the order to by a organic or droid commander due to it's processor being limited in thought and having no strategic or tactical programming involved.
