3X744, or Three, was a Stormtrooper cadet of the First Order in the early 860s ABY. Enlisted in the Starfighter Corps' elite pararescue unit, Three became involved in an actual rescue when a shuttle went down during a training mission. A dropship conducting touch-and-goes had suffered engine failure and tried for a hard landing, only to miss the landing pad and nearly go careening off the side of the elevated runway. Three managed to save three of the shuttle's aircrew, before going back for the remaining two when the shuttle finally collapsed.
Three was recovered alive, though his body was badly broken by the incident. En route to the hospital, he suffered a cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead on arrival. As a still viable candidate, the decision was made to try experimental surgery to recover the heroic cadet. This was more so done for the benefit of the surgeons to test their skills in cybernetics, but had the benefit of bringing Three back after eighteen minutes of brain death. His left arm and most of the left side of his ribs and sternum were replaced with cybernetic prosthetics. His heart was replaced with an artificial valve, while his lungs and muscles were fitted with Rybcoarse enhancements in order to minimize possible organ rejection and support the mechanical structures holding the left side of his upper body together.
In recognition for his bravery, Three was graduated with the accelerated rank of lance corporal. While undergoing physical therapy to adjust to his new condition, he was re-assigned to a military police company.
TRAITS:
[ + ] Lightning Bruiser. As a result of his cybernetic enhancements, Three exhibits peak human performance in speed and strength.
[ + ] The Determinator. Possibly the sole reason he's retained his sanity since his return to the living, even if somewhat less than human.
[+/-] Young Gun (To Be Lawful or Good?) Enlisted at seventeen, he's got a gun and authority. And very little idea what he's doing with either.
[+/-] Artificial Limbs. Three's entire left arm was replaced, as well as several of his ribs. His heart was replaced with an artificial valve and Rybcoarse enhancements were made to his lungs and muscles. As a result of his enhancements, his physical strength was described as being at its peak human potential; however, due to his muscles being cybernetic in nature no amount of physical training would ever increase his muscle capacity or strength; making his physical condition static.
[ - ] Back From The Dead. Three struggles to recall large portions of his life up until the accident and his status as a cyborg causes some mild disassociation. As a result, Three finds himself questioning whether he's alive at all.
[ - ] Cybernetics Eat Your Soul. Three experiences phantom pain in his left arm and measurable loss in tactile sensation in that hand. He also doesn't experience muscle fatigue. At times, Three wonders if he's real or not.
[ - ] Brainwashed For The Greater Good. All remaining systems will bow to the First Order!
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
