Ever since Kota got banished to Tatooine, things have been one major bore fest to another. Letting his mind wonder while his body worked, the boy began to wonder about what he was even doing. Working day in, and day out just to survive to the next (where the cycle repeats all over again). In short, the boy was sick and tired of his life. At least before, when the boy was working in the Imperial workshop, things at least subtlety changed from day to day. Maybe someone got in a fight, or maybe a high ranking personnel has arrived. But here, in the boonie planet of the boonies, nothing ever happens. Three weeks ago, that was how long ago it was when Kota arrived, and since then, absolutely nothing has even happened.
While Kota was working, a strange, armoured person ([member="Selt Atacor"]) appeared behind him and began striking a conversation. At first, Kota couldn't give a poodoo about the person, but then they said something strangely familiar.
"You must be one bored person,"
Slightly struck aback by the sudden accusation, Kota couldn't really deny the stranger's thoughts, but he still decided to go along with his act.
"Bored? Haha, how could anyone be bored out here when there's just so much work to do!?" He replied, with the chirpiest voice he had. It was strange that the person could somehow read his thoughts, but it was better to roll with his act in case his feelings were showing on his face before.
"Anyways, is there something I can do for you? I AM kind of working here, and I enjoy this job as it is without being fired you know." Kota joked, hoping that this could at least somewhat change the topic onto something other than his personal feelings.

The stranger was annoyingly persistent with the insults and year 1 psychology student bull poodoo. Anyways, he might be a paying customer, so Kota continued to smile and act ignorant.
"Maybe you would like something to entertain you? ... Look I'll be blunt do you want to get off this poodoo hole or not?"
What? That had nothing to do with work. Or maybe the guy wanted a ship to leave Tatooine. In which case, he must be loaded with cash. Just another high ranking sucker to con into obscurity, that would at least explain his random outbursts of analyzing the mind.

"So you want a ship? It'll take a while to build one from scratch, or you could rent a current one for a lower cost!" Kota explained, still smiling. More people began to enter the workshop and Kota just saw a whole new row of people to scam. Living in the boonies sucks, so he might as well scam these suckers and live rich in the boonies.
"So, if you're not going to answer I'm afraid you'll have to leave. I have to continue working and going onto customers that will actually want something instead of just simply chatting"

Well. Something is finally happening! Those 'rich' suckers turned out to be robbers! They started bringing out some blasters and forcing everyone around.
'Oho, about time something cool happened around these lame ass parts. I really hope someone gets shot.' Kota gleefully thought as he attempted to move into the shadows to safely spectate the event in full view. It was the perfect crime. Well, not really crime, but rather plan? Whatever, all that matters is that he can watch the robbery in full interest. The only problem was how? The boy was kind of in the middle of the room, but no matter! Everyone's distracted by the robbers and Kota began to slowly creep away.

Things were going fine until the leader noticed the brown haired boy.
"Hey! You! Where the f*** do you think you're going!?" The leader called out, pointing his dangerous looking blaster at Kota.
"Since you're so eager to leave, I'll make this simple. Gimme all your cash and a ship, or you get a hole in your face... simple as that." The brute said, walking even closer to Kota. Clearly, his safety plan didn't go as planned, but when does anything ever go as planned?
"Alright, listen mate. I'm just a poor worker forced into working here in Tatooine. So here's what I can do for you." Kota said, keeping his trademark smile while trying to regain some composure as he walked towards the leader, secretly hiding a wrench behind his back.
"How about I give you some high quality metal?" Kota said, instantly lunging forward and smashing the wrench into the leader's thick skull. A short squishy noise came out as Kota instinctively grabbed the now incapacitated (or dead) brute's blaster and began shooting rapidly.

"Holy sh!t! So this is what it's like to have power!" Kota screamed, trying to aim the robbers, but having too much fun to actually try to not hit the workers and other customers. However, this fun was short lived as the blaster soon overheated. Knowing that he would have to wait a while before the gun became reusable, Kota began to try and recruit any other people who could fight in order to beat these robbers (to death if necessary).
"Well, f***. Uh, anyone want to lend me a hand here? The gun is kinda down and I think I'm about to get sh!t on by these robbers here."

The hooded customer from earlier actually began to help beat up (kill) the robbers! It felt good to finally have an ally, and with only 5 more enemies to go, thing's shouldn't be too hard right? Grabbing both the blaster and his wrench, Kota rushed towards a robber that was near his customers. How dare these assholes first steal away his ideas of being rich by robbing the workshop! Although, Kota could somewhat forgive them for making his day infinitely more interesting.

The blaster seemed to have cooled down enough for him to shoot again, and Kota decided to do just that. Once again, he recklessly fired away at anything that moved without a care in the world. He was pretty sure that he got at least one robber, but then again, he might have killed even more civilians. But the main moral of the story is, who cares!? The day was amazing and Kota was going to enjoy every last second of it.

Kota continued his trigger happy firing spree as the bodies of the thugs dropped. Now dual wielding blaster pistols and re-equipping new ones after they overheat, instead of waiting for the guns to cool down. After the numbers of people alive (either they fled from the battle or died) in the workshop lessened to two (Kota and the hooded stranger) there was finally time to rest. The hooded stranger came up to Kota and began to continue talking to him.
"You sure you want to keep living peacefully? And without any action?"
Well, as annoying as his personality analyses were, they were pretty spot on. Kota was bored, and today was the perfect day to throw away his old life.

"Hehe, well you got me there. Now, lets find you a good ship and blow this sh!tty joint." Kota laughed, leading the hooded stranger to the best ship in the workshop. Gesturing for him to enter, Kota decided that he should try to socialise with this person some more. After all, if you're going to go on an adventure, you better get to know your party members.
"Well, thanks for earlier, I would've probably died if you weren't there before." Kota said as he entered the ship. Flattery is always the best way to go of course.

"Anyways, if we're going to travel together, no matter how long, we really should get to know each other. I'll start, the name's Kota Radeon, how do you do?" Kota began, reverting back to his cheerful persona. It wasn't as if his happy side was just a fake front, it's just how he prefers to act. He guesses that after being so cheerful for so many years, it really starts to grow on him.

"Your gratitude is much appreciated. My name is Selt Atacor, and I'd prefer not to say more until later." The hooded stranger replied as he walked onto the ship. Selt was a pretty strange person overall, but it's good to have some more muscle on the team nevertheless. Although, he is surprisingly skinny for someone who just beat up (or killed) a group of thugs. Entering the cockpit, Kota began to start the ship as Selt asked another question.

"What are the politics of this.. Galaxy and which affiliations concern themselves with."
"Politics? Uhh, well there are certain factions that control this galaxy. I never studied to learn all of them, but I do know about the New Empire is the one that I used to work for before I was banished to Tatooine, so I know somewhat about them. Basically, it's the rebuilt Empire that arose from the ashes of Palpatine's Empire." Kota explained to the best of his memory. It wasn't much since he didn't really bother to memorise the details, and the only thing that he slightly knew about the Empire was it's origins.

"Understood, i think i'll rest now if you don't mind..." Selt replied upon hearing Kota's 'explanation' of the various factions. The ship started and Kota prepared to begin his journey into outer space. Although, Kota also began to think. Why was he leaving Tatooine? He hadn't done anything to flee from the planet, although he may had killed some civilians. In fact, the only reason he was leaving Tatooine was because of this Selt guy.

"Oh well, so long, my old, boring life. Selt probably knows a thing or two that'll be interesting. I'm entering a whole new lifestyle of excitement right now!" Kota told himself, grinning as the ship took off. Looking back at the planet he called 'home' for the weeks he was trapped on once more before he left made him feel better. Like, 'so long, suckers' better. The old sh!tty life is gone now, and a whole new life of adventure was ahead of him in the push and pull of a few buttons and levers. Kota turned on the hyperdrive and watched as the ship raced passed the myriad of stars.
