 1500 posts - Kaila Irons\Darth Anathemous

ᴅᴀʀᴛʜ ᴀɴᴀᴛʜᴇᴍᴏᴜꜱ
Officially hit 1500 posts just over 12 months after recreating Kaila!

Those of you who know me know that i can be a pretty feedback oriented person, for better or for worse, so I'm back with one of these. I've learned a lot since returning to chaos both about getting good feedback and writing in general.

Kaila is actually my first dedicated force user ever so it's important to me that I learn to do it right. After so much character development and growing into the character all the way from apprentice to sith lord, my goal for her has always been to portray her Tough exterior, Soft interior, and inner conflict while she strives towards her ultimate goal of destroying the force.

That being said, with this new arc my hope is to portray the gradual fall from reluctant villain to embracing her dark streak while still writing a sympathetic villain. With this in mind i'm trying to write her as more confident in her place within the sith and her own power(which is a lot, as Carnifex's rogue apprentice lol).

Some highlights:

So, how am I doing? What should I do more, what should I do less?

i genuinely like the character. the few times we have interacted in threads, she's been a super dynamic non villian villian type. Defiantly goal orientated. i like the dynamic she's got going for her. an overall well-designed and portrayed character! dont know enough to give a more or less suggstion but you hav built this character very well!

It's been really cool seeing how you develop Kaila. She's drastically different from your other characters, and I've seen a /lot/ of development in how you write. You're sure of yourself, you're writing a story that's fun and you're not trying to appease another writer. You've hit a stride and it's fantastic.

I haven't read tooo much of your more recent stuff, so take my suggestions and toss em if you're already doing something along those lines (and/or they don't work for what you got in mind anyway). Solidify. Rule. Put her in a position of absolute power and have her feel the stress of the crown. A weight that'd force her to accept the more ruthless mindset Carnifex has or to challenge it more by finding a better (if still very Sith) way.

Dearest Great Granddaughter,

Though we have never technically met face to face, well sorta but you haven't exactly figured that out yet. I will give it time to let that realization set in. In that time I may have plotted your death or downfall many times for what you have turned my clone into.

Im sure Tamsin would say many polite nice things about you because of how disgustingly nice you have been to her abandonment issues aside. Though I do love the streak you have been on lately of getting after her for things others have done, it has allowed her to embrace her anger more.

Soon she will be the tyrant of destruction I know she can become just in time for me to consume her and take all she has learned as my own. It will be the greatest day you will have in your life meeting me for the first time truellly face to face as I take the life of your so called sister.

As for your growth if you want to truelly make me proud kill your mother, kill all those who have betrayed you. Take your rightful place in the pantheon of destruction, never look back on the world's you have conquered or destroyed. Embrace the annihilation I know is in you.

Do not let anyone hold you back, do not let anyone manipulate you, and do not kneel before the false gods that sit on there thrones looking down at you. We are rebels, conquerors, destroyers, and God's embrace it and take it all.

Or just let me kill you and end your existence. Your choice really.

See you soon

Love Great Gradma Rhand!
