Membership: Consists mainly of Analysts with several varying competencies and capacity, ranging from bookkeepers, office clerks to fully fledged slicers and profilers. Recruits are trained at special ISB academies.
Climate: Generally friendly and outgoing.
Reputation: Known within the Union, generally known outside the Union. Known as the eyes of the Union.
Curios: Branch dedicated uniform, white tunic and trousers with rank plaque and code cylinders. Due to the majority personnel of the Überwachung being analysts instead of field operatives, weapons are rarely used by these desk agents. However, all agents of the ISB and their respective branches/departments, have a basic knowledge of hand to hand combat, small arms training, and interrogation resistance. Field agents, especially those within the Vollstrecker and Die Stille Hand, go through more intense and specific combat oriented training.
Rules: Strict depending on security clearance of the individual. Personnel with higher clearance follow stricter rules and are monitored more closely than rookie analysts with a lower clearance and therefore access to less confidential information.
Goals: Analyze and report data, monitor the internal and external affairs of the Zweihander Union.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
A crucial part of the Union, the Überwachung was one of the first departments to be founded. The Überwachung maintains records for every citizen, military official and agent within the Zweihander Union. Records are also kept on key important officials of other organizations, empires and corporations. However these higher classed records are only accessible to those with the required security clearence. These records vary from individual to individual, there may be piles of data or little to no information regarding the target.
