Sularen sat in his office in silence after exiting the holocall. Everything he had worked for since Atrisia to repair the Confederation’s image was now gone. He knew the Mand’alor was a silver-tongued bastard but hadn’t expected such a rapid reversal of fortunes so quickly and it didn’t help that there wasn’t a cohesive message across the board amongst his own delegation. It had been a while since he felt such humiliation to such a degree and it only infuriated him further that even now after all this time he was still getting tossed around by other powers.

The Supreme Commander was so lost in self-reflection that he failed to notice the Acting Director of the Imperial Security Service, Rackham, enter his office. “Judging by the Mand’alor’s broadcast I'm assuming things didn’t go as planned?” he inquired. “What the fuck do you think happened.” he said, clearly fustrated. “This is why I left politics back in the Core, too much fancy words, too much bullshit with these pompous, arrogant types. You’re better off killing them then breathing in the same galaxy as them.” he continued. "At the very least we now know where the Mandalorians stand and what to expect from them moving forwards.

So what now, given that the Mandalorian contract with the Sith remains, we should expect them to assist the Sith Order against our upcoming operation in the Thandon Star Cluster.” Rackham further inquired. "Doesn't matter whether the Mandos get involved.” the Supreme Commander retorted. “We stick to the plan, and adjust our tactics to deal with any sort of Mandalorian interference.

Once we’re done with the Sith in the Thandon Star Cluster, we’ll deal with the Mandalorians accordingly.” he added. “And how exactly do you intend to ‘deal’ with them?” the Acting Director asked once more, curious as to what possible scheme Sularen was concocting. “That is something for another day, Director. In the meantime I want you to make sure the Imperial Security Service is ready for when that time comes.” the Supreme Commander responded. Rackham nodded and offered a simple response. “I’ll see what I can do, sir.

Good.” Sularen said as he proceeded to stand-up. “Now if you don’t mind, I have a lot of work to do. A press conference on New Alderaan, inspecting our forces gathering at Minntooine and overseeing an upcoming Special Forces Operation on Brosi.” and with that Sularen left his office to continue his work as Supreme Commander and overcome the many obstacles that lay ahead of him…
