"When the fireworks fell silent, the only lights left were blasterfire and burning banners."

AXILLA, UKATIS — A SITH INCURSION MASKED IN CELEBRATION
The capital of Ukatis, a world governed under Galactic Alliance charter, erupted into violence during its annual Summer Rain Festival. Fireworks gave way to firebombs as explosions crippled Axilla’s government district, electrical grid, and data uplinks. Sith-aligned forces emerged from within the city itself, coordinating with elements of the local nobility. No official claim of responsibility has been made, but numerous sources report Force-wielding individuals fighting alongside armored insurgents in a clearly orchestrated operation.

PALACE DISTRICTS OVERRUN — STRIKES COORDINATED ACROSS KEY SECTORS
Sabotage teams struck the Hall of Governance and communications relays in rapid succession. Four of Axilla’s eight districts went dark. Armed insurgents surrounded the palace sector within minutes, using rooftop vantage points and suppression fields to isolate defenders. Reports from within the city note signs of Sith tactics disorienting Force surges, burst saboteur deployments, and close-quarters combat consistent with known Sith doctrine. The Ascania family estate remains contested, with infrastructure damage radiating outward from the epicenter.

ALLIANCE RESPONSE STAGGERED — FIGHTING FRACTURES ALONG CIVIC LINES
Alliance peacekeepers, present only in ceremonial numbers, were caught in the opening blast. Without command uplinks, organized resistance fractured into isolated cells. Jedi-affiliated personnel have been seen assisting civilian evacuations and holding defensive lines in key intersections. Yet control of Axilla is fluid: the palace sector remains partially held by hostile forces, while surrounding wards shift between defenders and attackers by the hour. In some areas, firefights echo without pause; in others, whole blocks fall silent under smog and tension.

ALLIANCE HOLDS AIRSPACE — LOCALS CAUGHT BETWEEN FLAGS
Though ground communications remain disrupted, offworld Alliance broadcasts have reached limited areas, confirming the city is under attack and urging citizens to remain sheltered. Word of mouth now serves as the primary channel for updates, with unverified reports of Force-wielders clashing in key sectors and disappearances tied to summary reprisals. Rumors also circulate regarding the Count’s daughter allegedly seen among the fighting but no official confirmation has emerged. Her role, if any, remains unclear.

STABILITY SHATTERED — CONTROL RECLAIMED, BUT COSTLY

While Sith forces have since been repelled and airspace remains firmly under Galactic Alliance control, the damage runs deeper than broken windows and burned corridors. King Horace von Cholmondeley was confirmed killed in the early hours of the rebellion, reportedly by Sith-aligned infiltrators. In a darker twist, the uprising’s own figurehead long believed to be a noble claimant was executed during the broadcast of what many now refer to as a “purge within the purge.” The footage, amplified by Sith channels, has sparked speculation of betrayal and message-making at the highest levels of the incursion.

Though the capital is back under Alliance jurisdiction, whole districts remain without power, civic order is tenuous, and restoration efforts are just beginning. Peacekeepers are back on patrol, but the question isn’t just whether the planet is safeit’s whether trust in its institutions can survive what just happened.

THE FESTIVAL THAT BECAME A FAULT LINE

The Summer Rain Festival was meant to honor civic renewal, the end of storm season, and unity across Ukatis. Instead, it became a proving ground for a rebellion—one orchestrated from within and punctuated by political murder. The Alliance may have retaken the city, but the scars left behind are more than structural.

What began as fireworks ended with a king assassinated, a leader executed, and a planet forced to choose between what it celebrated and what it ignored. The Siths didn't come to start a war they came to show just how easily trust can be shattered from within.
