ARTISIA — PEACE TALKS INTERRUPTED BY WAR
It was meant to be a summit, not a siege. Artisia a Galactic Alliance world renowned for its academies and tranquil cities hosted the Diarchy delegation for discussions on peace, defense, and unity against the growing shadow of the Galactic Empire. For a brief moment, hope seemed possible. Then, without warning, the Empire arrived. The Death Star III translated into orbit with an Imperial fleet in close formation. There was no transmission, no demand, no warning only impact. Star Destroyers plunged into Artisia’s planetary shield, tearing it apart through sheer mass. Drop pods followed immediately, streaking through the breach in blinding numbers. Within minutes, the first Imperial boots hit the ground.
THE FIRST HOURS — CHAOS IN THE CAPITAL
It has been only hours since the invasion began, and already Artisia’s capital burns. The Lilaste Order, attached to the Diarchy delegation, has joined GA ground forces in a desperate defense across multiple fronts. Fighting rages through markets, streets, and administrative districts as Imperial armor pushes deeper into the city. The Lilaste Order’s makeshift forward operating base near the main bridge a vital chokepoint controlling the capital’s southern approach is under continuous assault. Reports from the ground describe waves of stormtroopers, heavy artillery fire, and low-altitude strafing runs. Lilaste order defenders hold for now, but supplies are running thin and comms with orbit remain intermittent.
THE SKY ABLAZE — AND NEW ARRIVALS IN THE VOID
GA and Diarchy vessels continue to contest the upper atmosphere, but Artisia’s sky belongs to no one. The arrival of the Imperial Confederation (TIC) has turned the orbital theater into open chaos and for the first time, the balance has shifted. Responding to Artisia’s call for aid, Confederation fleets have joined the Galactic Alliance in open battle against the Galactic Empire.Confederation warships now trade broadsides with Imperial formations across the upper atmosphere, reinforcing Alliance lines and carving corridors for evacuation craft. Neither side shows restraint; neither acknowledges the fragile lifelines of civilian transports below.
Between them, High Republic task forces have arrived to reinforce the Galactic Alliance, deploying medical frigates and evacuation carriers while their escorts engage Imperial craft. Elsewhere, the Sith Order has entered the system not as allies of any faction, but as silent observers with unpredictable intent. Their ships engage selectively, firing on both Imperial and Alliance vessels without clear allegiance.
And in the midst of it all, Black Sun Syndicate privateers, flying Imperial codes, strafe the surface and target High Republic transports turning the system into a free-fire zone where alliances mean little and profit defines the line of fire.
GROUND REPORT — A CITY IN COLLAPSE
Artisia’s infrastructure is failing. Power grids are down. Civilian shelters are overcrowded and exposed. The few remaining hospitals operate under generator light as evacuations move by foot through bombed-out streets. The Lilaste Order continue to hold the bridge perimeter, but they are encircled. Firefights erupt in the upper levels of half-collapsed buildings, while the river below runs thick with debris. Every minute brings another call for air support that may not come.
STATEMENTS AND SILENCE
No official government statements have been made. The Galactic Alliance Senate has gone dark, and the Diarchy’s high command transmits only encrypted bursts from orbit. The High Republic confirms it is conducting “defensive humanitarian intervention,” but offers no further comment. The Galactic Empire issues no demands, only destruction. The Sith Order remains silent. Their ships linger in the system’s outer edge, distant but deliberate. The Black Sun’s motives need no statement profit thrives in chaos.
THE STORM STILL FORMING
These are still the first hours of a much larger conflict. Reinforcements continue to arrive, and no faction appears ready to withdraw. The city’s defenders remain outnumbered but not broken. If the bridge falls, the Imperial advance will divide the capital in two. If the Death Star III fires again, there may not be a capital left to defend. For now, Artisia endures. Every transmission from the surface carries the same words: “We’re still here.”
PEACE INTERRUPTED, UNITY TESTED
Artisia was supposed to mark the beginning of a new alliance a moment when the galaxy’s fractured powers might finally stand together. Instead, it has become the crucible that will test whether such unity can survive war.The diplomats who arrived to speak now fight in the rubble of their own meeting halls. The sky burns, the ground shakes, and no one yet knows how or when it will end.
