Brama Harand
Model Name: ARC-7X "Forkblade" Interceptor
Class: Heavy Starfighter (Modified ARC-170 Variant)
Owner: Jedi Knight Kael Varnok
Era: Clone Wars
Affiliation: Jedi Order (Unofficial Use)
Overview:
The Brama Harand is a customized ARC-7X "Forkblade" Interceptor — an unorthodox evolution of the Republic's ARC-170 starfighter, personally restored and refitted by Jedi Knight Kael Varnok. Once a rusting wreck scavenged from the aftermath of a downed Republic cruiser, the ship was salvaged and painstakingly rebuilt by Varnok in the ashes of a failed mission. Where others saw scrap, he saw potential. Now, it serves as a living extension of his volatile duality: elegant in form, brutal in function.
Design & Aesthetic:
Like its pilot, the Brama Harand is a paradox made real — a hybrid of Republic military tech and tribal warrior culture. The ship retains the ARC-170's rugged fuselage but replaces the wide s-foils with custom folding wings modeled after Jedi Vectors. These wings fold vertically when docked, unfolding into a combat-ready "fork" shape — a nod to Kael's alias, "The Forked Blade."
Burned red detailing accents the matte black hull, which bears tribal etchings along the nose and wing edges — Droskari war symbols layered with Jedi script. A bone-plated fin is affixed to the dorsal hull, a repurposed trophy from Drosk-7 fauna, mirroring the design of Kael's ceremonial helmet. The ship's name, Brama Harand — meaning "Twice-Born Flame" in Old Droskari — is carved by hand along the side.
Armament:
The rear turret is now remote-operated, either by the ship's onboard AI ("Sunn-IX") or through Kael's neural-linked combat helmet, allowing real-time targeting during solo engagements.
Systems & Capabilities:
Unique Features:
Reputation:
Among Jedi pilots, the Brama Harand is whispered about more than it is seen. It has no official designation within the Republic Navy and is often flagged as "unauthorized salvage." Clone pilots refer to it as "The Split Shadow", both out of respect and unease. Varnok's enemies call it something simpler: death inbound.

Armament:
- 2x Forward Medium Laser Cannons (standard ARC-170 mounts)
- 1x Underbelly Heavy Repeater Blaster (replaces rear gunner station; AI or helmet-linked control)
- 1x High-Yield Proton Torpedo Launcher (4-round capacity)
- Modular hardpoint for detachable countermeasures or electro-pulse mines
The rear turret is now remote-operated, either by the ship's onboard AI ("Sunn-IX") or through Kael's neural-linked combat helmet, allowing real-time targeting during solo engagements.
Systems & Capabilities:
- Crew: 1 (Pilot) / Optional Co-Pilot
- Hyperdrive: Class 1.0 (upgraded)
- Engines: Dual-mod KDY 48-j Refit Engines – Capable of high-speed vector bursts with enhanced vent flaps for maneuvering in high-G combat
- Navigation: Jedi-refined predictive tracking software
- Stealth Tech: Passive sensor dampeners (short-duration cloaking via hull dampening field)
- AI: Sunn-IX – Responsive combat support AI built from salvaged clone pilot neural interface data
Unique Features:
- AI-Helmet Combat Sync: Kael's custom helmet links directly with the Brama Harand, allowing him or a co-pilot to control the remote turret via head movement and HUD overlays — giving the illusion of a "third saber" in ship form.
- Adaptive Rage-State Protocol: When Kael enters a combat-induced trance, the ship's AI modulates weapon cooldowns and maneuvering to match his elevated reflexes, creating a synergized flow state between Jedi and starfighter.
- Symbolic Build: The rebuilt ship stands as a metaphor for Kael himself — reconstructed from violence and ruin, armored in contradiction, and flying toward something like redemption.
