Rorak 4
Space Station
Kalantha

A few years ago this would've been incredibly stressful for him. But things had changed, he grew and became something better than he ever though he could be. Late nights and countless hours of training and preparing both mind and body. After the losses he had suffered and yet he was here. Dropping into one of the hot zones for slave activity, slavery was still everywhere in the galaxy. There were countless lives that were forced against their will, and they couldn't save them all. He had to act quickly and do what he could and with what resources he had available. The space station was massive, and there was countless vessels coming in and out of here. He wasn't alone though, there were several contacts with the High Republic that stretched out this way.

He had been here for almost two weeks as he examined, infiltrated, assessed and then extracted whom he could. There were some that were used to this lifestyle that didn't want to leave. Majority did, and they were giving a choice of where they wanted to go. Some would return to their families and those that didn't have families, Aiden offered them a home within the High Republic, citizenship and everything as long as things checked out okay. Those that he came across, some of them had a strong connection to the force. In the same way, they were offered a path, which they could refuse if they wish. The primary directive was that they were now free.

Able to decide how they wanted to live and what they wanted to become.

Aiden stood in the spaceport with several High Republic officials, speaking with them on the recent events.

"You did a great job here Aiden." The Jedi Knight chuckled and shook his head. "It wasn't just me, there were plenty others. I just hope its not all for naught. You know what I mean?"

"I understand, but you are the new preacher on hope and light right, like your father." The General patted Aiden on the shoulder before walking off.

Aiden smiled and took a deep breath as he glanced around returning to his ship. Gala came rolling around the way as he walked up the ramp. "Yes Gala, I'm okay, I assure you. No I don't need medical attention." His fathers astro droid, which had now passed along to him.

The Jedi Knight took a deep breath as he stretched a bit before he made his way to his room. He opened a com via scrambler code to Inara's private channel.

"Chancellor....." He said with a small smile and a teasing tone. "Everything is well and taken care of properly. I'm doing well, a bit tired but otherwise I'm good. I was thinking about the sunset we watched out on the balcony of the Royal Apartment. You can't get nothing like that here, which is why I'm glad to call Naboo home. I should be back in a couple of days, hopefully you aren't bogged down by boring affairs of state." Aiden chuckled lightly as he shook his head as his teasing nature before things got a bit more serious. "I'm......I'm thinking of you always, maybe we could have dinner when I get back and watch another sunset?" The Jedi Knight smiled as he was about to say something else until he was slightly interrupted.

"We are almost ready Aiden!" The familiar voice of Owen could be heard as he heard the ship power up.

"See you soon." Aiden waved with a smile as he ended the transmission and stood up.

The young man left his room as he made his way up towards the cockpit, a smile on his face as he took a set.

"What's got you smiling?!" Astraa asked with a evenly matched smiled, wondering why her almost brother was in a good mood. She sat next to Owen who was in the pilots chair.

"Just happy to be going home."

"We should stop by Tatooine on the way back, see if there is a podrace going on soon."

Aiden glanced to his side as Castor had joined them from the rear. And he just couldn't help but start laughing.

"A quick stop...." Aiden strapped himself in the seat as he let out a small sigh, leaning his head back and closed his eyes. Sleep came to him quickly, and there was just one person he was thinking about.
