Sularen sat in his office as he carefully went through the High Republic’s recent proclamation. They had announced their displeasure at the abduction of Cynan Obaith and demanded that the so-called Corellian Ambassador was to be returned to them unharmed. An absurd demand that reeked of arrogance, coming from a government that had allowed previous attacks on their high-ranking members to go unanswered.

What infuriated the Supreme Commander even more was the revelation that Obaith was Corellia’s Ambassador to the High Republic. A man who had openly defied him and declared his opposition to his plans to deliver judgement upon those who had undermined him for over five decades. A man that if freed would only steer Corellia back on the path of further undermining him.

Corellia had been a thorn on Sularen’s side for far too long. A world that had been ruled by a line of self-righteous and arrogant militant Diktats that had dragged his name through the dirt and branded him a traitor to all Corellians. For five decades it remained out of his reach, shielded by the Galactic Alliance and defended by the Corellian Confederation itself. A fortress world and regional power that wouldn’t bend or break.

But now the Galactic Alliance and the Corellian Confederation were gone, and Obaith had been removed from the picture. For once after decades of rivalry, the Green Jewel of the Core was in his reach, and Sularen was going to make sure it would bleed for all the bullshit he had to go through. From overthrowing him during the Byss Crisis to his brief imprisonment after the Battle of Coruscant, Corellia WOULD suffer one way or another.

Then the doors to the Supreme Commander’s office opened and a single figure, the Director of the Imperial Security Service known as Rackham entered. “Sir. I assume you saw their statement.” he said referring to the High Republic’s recent proclamation. “Yes I have.” the Supreme Commander responded. “How will you respond?” he inquired. “With Fire and Blood.
