WILD SPACE HERALD
BREAKING NEWS

The last few months have been quite tumultuous for the residents of the Tingle Arm, as shifts in galactic powers rock the people of the planets within Wild Space and beyond. The Imperial Confederation has made it their mission to assert control over the Tingle Arm, an attempt to rebirth what the Empire of the Lost had once claimed.

And yet, history repeats itself.

Weeks ago, a daring raid was executed by a group calling themselves The Wild Space Rebellion, using bold tactics to assault the Imperial shipyards around Mon Cala. While imperial records of the event are sparse as officials within the Confederation seem eager to downplay the incident, reports from neutral haulers in the area report that the rebels seem to have somehow made off with a not-insignificant portion of the orbital ring, and while imperial forces have managed to stabilize the rest of the ring, gravitational effects on the planet of Dac have been reported by impartial scientific experts.

This attack, in turn seemed to have sparked a retaliatory strike on Lothal, that while the Confederation seemed to have the upperhand at first with military might, outside forces seemed to have spared Lothal from the worst of the Empire's might.

Reports from Imperial Intelligence seem to indicate a sudden withdrawl from the system, as rebel forces move in to once more reinstate the dedication to the planet's defense and rehabilitation. Our in the field reporter Qwan Bilow has the scoop on what's happening on the ground.

"This is Qwan Bilow reporting from a sunny day in Lothal City. While only a few years ago the city was leveled by Imperial forces from the Empire of the Lost, the Wild Space Rebellion has since moved in and helped restore the city and surrounding areas to it's former glory to the best of their abilities. The Dawn of Hope sits now high above the planet, ferrying supplies to the capital as we speak. Imperial forces have completely abandoned the planet, and retreated deeper into former Confederation territory. I was able to get a statement from the Dawn of Hope's commander, Zoro Igla, on the matter."

"We've done everything we can. With the Imperials fleeing back to their fortress worlds, we're sure that the Empire will be back. But when that happens, we'll be ready."

"You heard it here folks! The Empire seems to be on the downturn once more. While yet another Imperial government goes through turmoil and decline, surely another will rise. But will it last? This reporter thinks not. If history is anything to go by, it'll be gone in another six months. Reporting from the field, Qwan Bilow, Wild Space Herald."
