Recently, local authorities from Elom have raised alarms following the sudden appearance of a mysterious Imperial fleet at the outskirts of the Elom System. This fleet, comprised of an uncertain amount of warships has made no attempt at identification, ignored all hails and has maintained complete comms silence since entering the system four days ago.
Furthermore, reports have indicated that this fleet has engaged and destroyed every vessel both civilian and military that has attempted to approach them. So far there have only been a few survivors and descriptions of the Imperial fleet remain fragmented, with witnesses citing long-range weapons fire and unknown TIE fighter models.
The origins, allegiance, and intentions of this enigmatic force remain unknown as system officials remain uncertain whether this Fleet belongs to either the Galactic Empire, the Imperial Confederation or a new Imperial power in the Outer Rim. As such urgent advisories have been issued for all civilian traffic to avoid the region until further notice. Neighboring sectors are now on high alert, as speculation mounts over what may transpire from this development.
