Perhaps it was simply an astrophysical fluke. Perhaps it was a working of the Celestials, outside of their home galaxy, much like the work they had done with Corellia. However it happened, though, deep within the cluster there was a star that came to be known as Jerin, around which orbited multiple planets. All stable, despite the gravitic disruptions that such systems were normally subject to deep within a dense globular cluster. Shrouded with a nebula that blocked enough light for there to be a chance of actual nighttime on the planet, and preventing it from becoming completely cooked by constant stellar radiation. And—most curiously, and most heavily hinting at potential Celestial involvement—the planet was strong, seemingly centered on a vergence in the Force.
Life flourished on the world, though intelligent life never developed. Instead, it would be colonized—by ancient Rakata, Yuuzhan Vong, Humans, Twi'lek, Nagai, even species as disparate as the Celegians and Priapulins that found themselves either by intention or chance cast far beyond the boundaries of their home galaxies and deep into the heart of Companion Cresh, as well as by any native sentient species. Strong in the Force, the planet existed as a beacon for those groups that found themselves stranded so far from everything they'd ever known. It became a haven world for those of the various Force-studying traditions that wound up within Companion Cresh, whether they arose within the dwarf galaxy or came from beyond it. Like many such, through its history it has seen periods of peace and war both; in the modern day, it exists as a neutral ground, similar to the pilgrim moon of Jedha and the numerous Force-studying and worshipping traditions that have called it home.
New settlers are often welcome, though the planet remains sparsely populated, with few centers that could even be called cities. Still, the peoples now known as the Hasili all share a fondness for the world, a willingness to share much of their teachings with each other, and a protective streak both for it, the system it resides within, and the galaxy of Companion Cresh at large.

General Information:
- Planet name: Hasil
- Demonym: Hasili, Hasilian
- Region: Extragalactic (globular cluster near the core of Companion Cresh)
- System name: Jerin system
- System features: The primary star (Jerin), multiple small moons, various other planets, one other star (red dwarf, significant distance away from the heart of the system).
- Location: Stellar maps don't have this one, y'all.
- Major imports: People, starships, droids, most heavy manufacturing products.
- Major exports: Locally grown foodstuffs, various neat trinkets from the Force traditions on world.
- Unexploited Resources: N/A
- Gravity: Roughly standard, comparable to Coruscant or Naboo.
- Climate: Temperate, but trends towards the more humid side.
- Primary terrain: Plains, oceans, jungles/rainforests. A few noteworthy mountain ranges. A lot of swamps.
- Atmosphere: Predominantly Type I
- Capital city: Maira, population under 100,000.
- Planetary features:
- Very rural and decentralized. Much of the population is self-sufficient, and many of the activities undertaken are fundamentally religious in nature, so much of the environment itself has gone unmodified. Glacial lakes are common features trending towards the polar regions, with heavy marsh and swamplands surrounding them. Oceans are a prominent feature, as are large swathes of rainforests.
- Majority of the population sticks towards the more plains/grassland type regions, due to the ease of farming and such. Maira is one such place. However, there are numerous temples and other places of study or worship of various Force traditions.
- Native species: No native sapient species.
- Immigrated species: Various; surprising Yuuzhan Vong population, as well as Celegians and Gand with population centers in the rare regions where swamp gases or cave gases are suitable to their biology and present in sufficient concentrations of Cyanogen and Ammonia compared to oxygen that they can breathe easily.
- Population: Sparse
- Demographics: Varied; no clear preponderance towards any one species.
- Primary languages: Yuuzhan Vong and Basic (somewhat divergent dialects from Galactic standard for both, although they remain mutually intelligible with the home galactic dialects), various others, including languages local to Companion Cresh.
- Culture: Pragmatic, studious. Hardy frontier living combined with a deep sense of spiritual, mystic, or religious devotion. Hasil is almost functionally akin to the Mount Athos of Companion Cresh.
- Government: Local council made up of the heads of the various Force sects present on the planet. Very minimal actual governing done at a top level, everything is mostly done in the various population centers or by the Force sects themselves.
- Affiliation: N/A
- Wealth: Medium
- Stability: High
- Freedom and Oppression: Very free, assuming someone chooses the community they want to be with carefully or is willing to live out on their own.
- Military: The various sects have their own militant arms and are usually willing to cooperate if necessary. That's the most it comes to—no central military force at all.
- Technology: Galactic standard. Maybe a little behind. Not much, though.
