"Madness," she growled as the reports continued to flow to the Dark Councilor of what had occurred at the Blackwall Gateway, "Madness and stupidity."

She had been on her way to facilitate the meeting between Gerwald and Ivalyn, to smooth out how they might work together or at least not get in the way of the other during the Sadow Campaign. Her agents had been feeding her information on the battle, and then the report came in that Alisteri had actually killed the High Treasurer in the skirmish. It had almost an immediate effect upon the Empire.

Elane had been a controlling woman; one might even accuse her of making herself the linchpin that allowed the credits to flow through the Empire. Her death meant that anything that required her authorization to proceed, any accounts or assets that had been hidden, were now inaccessible. Now, the SIBC was facing a proverbial run on the bank by the less fortunate within the Empire, the military accounts had been frozen, and so on and so on. The death of one woman now was threatening to throw the entire economy within the Sith Empire, every operation overseen by the SIBC, into complete and utter chaos... right as the fething campaign to the Core was about to begin.

Her patience with the Prophet was running dangerously thin once again, and now she needed to deal with Elane's death and the ripple effects. It also presented an opportunity for the Dark Councilor to, in the name of stability, assert greater authority over the economy.

"I want the entire SEC summoned, no exceptions," she ordered to her aide-de-camp. "All directors and sub-directors of the SIBC and the Guildmasters. The Minister for Production and Logistics. If anyone doesn't show up, hunt them down and drag them there or kill them. Deploy Thought Hunters so we can get to the bottom of this whole debacle. I want to know everything and anything they might know. I will be there in the hour to personally address the problem."
