Shiraya's Rest
Midnight
4 Days After
Was it stupid?
Perhaps...
Did it make him feel better?
Yes...
Contact after contact, it had gone one for the past day and half already. The Jedi's fists made contact with the wooden planks in the training area. A mix of dirt and sand kicked up around him as he switched up his movement and struck the planks several more times. He had to wrap his fists after the first day, redness that turned to swelling and bruised and pierced skin. The wraps had done their job, laced with bacta and bound tightly with a medical white wrap. Secured enough to stop the bleeding, however with the constant barrage against the wooden planks.
The white bandage now seeped with blood, Aiden's body hands shook uncontrollably as he launched another series of attacks towards the planks until his last hit broke the right plank. In truth a mixture of pain, frustration, sorrow and grief had overcome him. A low groan and grief filled yell escaped him.
"WHY YOU?!" Aiden called out to the night sky, the stars looking down on him with sadness. Unable to do anything to console him, it was indeed tragic. "WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE YOU?!"
"Why not......?!" Tears fell from his eyes as he sank to his knees. Ashamed of his words, especially these. That's why he stopped them before continuing...
Why not someone else....?
He shook his head, knowing that wasn't the way of thinking. That wasn't Aiden, that was his emotions getting to him. He had never felt more alone than what he did right now. His mind was swirling around with so many different things right now. He knew he was better than this, he taught this. Over and over to so many people, so many others who had grown from his own words.
There were many that were here for him, and yet he felt shrouded in pain, and anger.
That is what bothered him the most, the anger.....
"Why did you leave me alone....."
