Naboo

The holofilm flickered to life with the polished crest of Theed News Network suspended in blue light before the anchor appeared against a softly glowing cityscape of Naboo at dusk.

"Good evening from Theed and Dee'ja Peak. We interrupt our scheduled programming with a developing report.

Cassian Lucian Abrantes has officially been reported missing.

Sources close to the matter state that Abrantes met earlier today with Army and Intelligence officials, where he is believed to have resigned his commission. According to those same sources, he was last seen departing for his home shortly afterward.

Authorities now fear foul play.

Investigators confirmed that a destroyed and heavily ransacked speeder believed to belong to Abrantes was discovered only a few miles from Dee'ja Peak. The condition of the vehicle has raised serious concerns, and officials have not ruled out the possibility of an attack.

At this time, security forces have not released details regarding potential suspects, nor have they confirmed whether any evidence was recovered from the scene.

Residents in the surrounding area are being urged to report any unusual activity, sightings, or transmissions that may assist investigators as they work to piece together Abrantes's final known movements.

This remains a fast moving story. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available."
