After the fall of Sullust to the hands of the Alliance there had been the usual funerals and memorial services. The next few weeks saw the expulsion of rebel cells of the First Order which remained behind. The Shipyards were reconstructed in orbit, and satellite beacons set to warn of incoming Hyperspace travel.

Most of the displaced folks from the Alliance were now on refugee transports headed home, ready to resettle into a newer greener Alliance, and carry the torch.

Fleets were being refitted for the first time in years. Their blackened and shattered armor plates were torn off and new shiny armor sewn into their hulls. Weapons wiring was ripped out and replaced with new. Fresh fighters graced the decks of the Experimental Warfare Fleet as well as many other fleets.

Now her own fleet the newly reorganized Alliance Expeditionary Fleet was hanging in orbit, boosting local sector forces as they escorted droves of refugees and took in immigrants displaced bu the Sharukan and Ssi-Ruvi invasions. The remaining First Order territories citizens seemed to defect more and more, as unchecked horrors of the deep ran rampant through their old Colonies.

It called for a celebration and gathering to witness new life. For the first time in years the tired and decimated Sailors, Soldiers and Pilots of the Alliance laid their heads to rest on solid, sovereign ground.

For the first time in years they were home.

Silara and a half her fleet were here tonight. Most of the remaining folks under her command were war hardened veterans now. Clad in her customary Blue Grey Uniform she strode down a long banister, and into the crowd below. They were in a long hall adorned with banners of the Starbird and different units all up and down it.

At the head was a podium. In the center long rows of lavish chairs and tables, decorated with spinning floating lamps. A band played in the corner, mirrored by an open bar and buffet in the other three corners. Even the civilians were being let in, dressed in their best, and mingling with the higher ups, lower downs and all echelons of the New Alliance....
