STRENGTHS
- Ultra-sharp - sharpened to a monomolecular edge, the Sword can cut through most materials with ease.
- Alchemical hardening - The alchemy and cotosis infusion make it extremely durable, able to withstand several lightsaber blows and blaster hits, although the edge may dull
- Cortosis infusion - a result of an extremely dark alchemical ritual where a force fed creature is forced to replace some of the calcium in its bones with Elemental cortosis, the blade can potentially short out lightsabers that impact it.
- LIving bone - the bone is kept alive in the process and over time it will heal, this can take days to weeks depending on the damage so is useless in battle but the blade will recover as long as the inner marrow is not destroyed.
- Force Nullification - in this sort of environment, the blade is still a sharp, cortosis infused blade, but loses a lot of its toughness and can be shattered with sufficient impact
- Darkness - the blade was created by dark dathomiri rituals that included cruelty and sacrifice, someone holding this blade or even coming too close to it can feel the darkness emanating from it.
- Needs sharpening - the blade will dull over time, losing the monomolecularity of its edge relatively rapidly, and then its sharpness over sustained use.
- Living marrow - the weapon cam be killed by a number of methods, Extreme heat and radiation being the most obvious. If the marrow dies, the sword will stop healing and begin to degrade.
The Revenant sword us a dark weapon, carved from the leg bone of a great lizard that spent the last if its days being force fed cortosis and dathomiri herbs.
It is a perfectly balanced signature weapon for the Revenant Warriors and it allows them to fight much more dangerous foes, including lightsaber welders.
