Due to the identity of his creator, Marcus closely resembles the Sith Lord Alen Na'Varro at age twenty-four. Athletically-muscled, sporting a tangle of red hair and a matching red beard, he is an attractive man who carries himself with confidence. His smile is, as they say, "winning."
BIOGRAPHY:
After being possessed by the spirit of his old Master, Alen Na'Varro retained a shard of his Master's personality that influenced his outlook on life somewhat. Falling to the Sith, Na'Varro became obsessed with the idea of Chaos being a "sieve of sentience", with the worthy prevailing while the weak fall through the cracks. Chaos, he argued, was natural selection. So he began to act upon the galaxy with that in mind. As a side project, Na'Varro decided to provide an example of how Chaos might be circumvented. He would show how a Darksider could prevail over Chaos by simply ignoring it. But that was only one end of the spectrum. The Light Side had to be accounted for too.
Marcus Albans was created from Na'Varro's DNA, spliced with the half K'paur Sith Lord Lucianus Adair's DNA to create a superior specimen. Marcus retains a younger Na'Varro's appearance while gaining limited benefits from Adair's DNA, including a lengthened lifespan and an increased affinity to the Force. However, that is where the similarities end for the most part. Marcus has Na'Varro's DNA but not his life experience. There is nothing drawing the clone to the Dark Side except for his K'paur genetics.
Na'Varro spent six months preparing his clone before sending him towards the Republic and the Jedi Temple from Fringe space. Suspicion is just one obstacle that Marcus will have to overcome in order to become an example for those who follow the Light.
