Strengths and Weaknesses
+ Force empathy - This I consider both a strength and a weakness. She is attuned to life force of living things. This will one day make her a great healer. However the downside to this is she can feel others pain. She has, to a degree, learned to push down the general misery of others. However if she, herself, causes pain to something there is a backlash that hurts her as much as she hurt whoever she attacked. She will not manifest cuts or other things, she simply feels the pain she caused. It can cause her to black out. If there is a vast amount of death or pain near her she has not learned to damp that out yet.
+ Strong intuition - Due to her empathy she can very often tell the truth and lies people tell, this is not full proof and she does not rely on it. She can also sometimes "guess" the best choice out of what is before her. That choice may be getting eaten by a rancour or getting eaten by a krayt dragon though.
- Can't use weapons - Because of the backlash of her empathy she cannot use any form of weapon. From light sabres to ship guns. If it can hurt something else she has no idea how to use it. If offered a weapon she will not even touch it unless physically forced to, and if forced will get rid of it as soon as she can.
- Can't use offensive force powers. - This applies to any force ability that causes damage to another person. Telekentic lifting, as long as she doesn't toss it at someone is fine, a lot of dark side powers do count and cannot be used.
Apperance
Talara is a fairly tall young woman with long red hair that reaches almost to her backside. She has very fair skin and tends to sunburn easy unless protective measures are taken. She is not all that skinny and the past few years training with her master have given her some muscle. She has a long mark on her left arm caused by her getting suprised by a beastie.
Biography
Born on a planet on the reaches of the outer rim she was raised by her parents who were, more or less, rangers who kept up with the game laws of the local colony. She was raised to track animals and keep from being spotted by them. When she was ten a small canine similar to a wolf got into her home and attacked her. It left a mark on her arm that she carries even now.
When she was thirteen she manifested her empathy. Her parents recognising that it was something a bit more special contacted an old friend of theirs, a master Everan Rhis. When he arrived at the family cabin he instantly recognised Talara as a sensitive and took her into his care. Over the next three years he taught her how to controll her empathy. How to dampen it so the pain of people around her did not drive her insane, and to let it flow so she could find out what was wrong with people so he could treat them.
She recently lost her master on a mission to find out about some poachers on a protected planet. The group was much larger then he originally thought. He gave up his life so she could escape into the forest. Trying to cope with her masters death and trying to escape a group of men who want to eliminate a witness is where she stands now.
