Polyhistor Sabers (Open)

[Matsu Ike]

Matsu was moving now, she needed her own time and here in the silver jedi temple on Voss with all their rituals and seclusion she could do just that. Checking her sabers and discblade, her knives and her own fists. She was planning for what could come and had several datacrons/holocrons that would allow her to train at least with other masters if no one showed up.

Which wasn't a bad thing she had been use to doing things alone and wanted to practice to redefine her skills with the saber. She would have to take time to do it again with her force abilities and her own knowledge but she would work today on her blade... and maybe hand to hand techniques for fighting. She was after all still one of the better generalist jedi even if she had only regained a small connection to the force. She still had her mind.

SHII-CHO

Shii-cho the most basic of combat forms and as Matsu stood there her saber activated. A midnight blue blade that sharpened and hummed in her hands, her breath coming in with a sharp intake of air through her teeth that expanded to her core. Then to her limbs while a training remote her hands taking it up to a ready stance before she closed her eyes. This was what all students needed to learn and use as it grew into other forms orgnically and with purpose.

The whirring sound of the remote entered her range of hear before it turned and fired a shot. Her body reacting as the force brought her hands up and she felt the small push of the blade when the round impacted, deflecting towards a wall and pinging off of it before she moved and listened to the swish sound of the repulsors. Then a second ound came with a third and she was moving the blade again to deflect and reflect on back into the remote.

MAKASHI

Her saber moved, the blade parrying with the apprentices as slowly Matsu focused on the makashi form to counter and fight them. Her eyes were locked onto them in places and she kept moving with quick movements forward and back to blade lock and parry then push them back as she gave several contact burns to the hands and wrists of the jedi with her. Matsu backed away and holding the blade slightly above her head ready to continue the lesson.

SORESU

ody slightly to the side, dominant foot back slightly and saber in her hand. Pointed forward away from her body while she slashed and the blaster bolts were batted away, a droid slicing in two and she moved forward getting another blaster bolt and droid. Soresu was a strong form for defense and you could get into the thick of it while she deflected more shots from the ones at a distance. Amusement playing on her face and the enjoyment of the situation coming in full.

ATARU

The snap hiss of the saber as Matsu moved forward and kicked off the wall, she was moving faster and faster letting the speed increase her strength, letting her movements generate powers. The Basis of Ataru was to be faster and always on the move, she bounced letting the force flow through he muscles and was charging at the training droids in the rom while they fired stun shots at her. A slam to the ground and slash to their chests keeping her bouncing back up when there was a circle of parts.

SHIEN

Block block counter attack. Matsu was moving forward as the training droids attacked saber and blaster. She had slow movements but powerful defensive style mixed with counter attacks still being able to be launched. Her discblade sabers gleamed black phrik while the silver/white blades hissed with the solari crystals in them. Matsu got close as she slashed finally rising up and putting her focus into breaking the droid while she reached the remote firing in the same slash.

NIMAN

Block, counter, dodge, deflect... defend, strike. Matsu stood there as she moved around the room combining the forms, combining her focus to be like with the force skilled in all. The general strengths and weaknesses balanced while she was able to focus and work on the forms. Her mind looking for what could be creative and improvise while she used the unorthodox to fight and challenge the others who might prove a problem. She slashed the saber releasing it as she spun around and controlled the discblade letting the meter length extend to three for the coverage of the room.

JUYO

This was not a form she often employed, Matsu avoided aggressive feelings and what it could entail but she knew it was essential toa jedi using the form. Often seen as dangerous and something she had only cursory touched upon for her own benefit. With a small smirk on her face, Matsu was moving about quickly as she let the force into every fiber of her being. Each strike the angst and malcontent she had bottled up being released. She was tempered aggression with her face remaining blank to emotion or the world. The solari still glowing and in her hand making this a blade for justice.

VAAPAD

Now it was time for something dangerous, something she hadn't actually tried to use and focus on. Iella and Saki knew it, Darron Wraith knew it as well as a few others. This was not meant for mass use but she had studied it and trained it even. She knew how to protect herself that was why she had the solari crystals to prevent her mind and heart from being poisoned with inner darkness this form released.

Matsu moved attacking as she brought to the surface all the feelings she had about the jedi and the ones who had sought to kill her. They brought out the worst thought in her but she had never acted on it and now as she touched it her mind was pushing her body to speeds for several of the strikes few would ever have seen. The training droid was being overwhelmed while she held the silver blade out with one hand.

TELEKINETIC SABER COMBAT

This was easier, jedi used this for the most basic attacks and as Matsu threw the saber she guided the blades to move around the room, then move around herself as they shifted to form a saber barrier. The more dangerous would be if she could wield her sabers without them falling. She was drawing on Matukai techniques to keep her stamina and connection to the force empowered. The cadences were able to be preformed at their final level with only telekinesis and Matsu was working to train that eventually. She pushed her hands through and forwards guiding the blades to hover in front of her.

TRISPZEST

She was grinning to this, hovering in the air as the force pushed through her limbs. Matsu was going for as much as she could in terms of just practicing her saber skills. She wanted to make sure things went well and right now as she held the blade flying through the air she could think of a few things. Then she was coming down and slashing under the blade arm of the training droid. She had only used this against one other person in a long time and that was at Metalorn when she fought Isis. The saber went through the arm while Matsu raised into the air turning and looking down. The force making her hair hover around her.

FORM ZERO

This wasn't a real form, at least not traditionally compared to some. No form zero was using all other means before you resorted to your blade and it was something Matsu tried to practice. Her enjoyment of the situation usually stemming from the need not to fight and diffuse the tension. Some fo the other jedi did much the same as she worked on her fans and parasol. They could be used to deflect and avoid major conflict. Matsu worked as she fanned herself and made small whirlwinds to push people away safely.

SOKAN

"Use the world to your advantage, everything is permitted and all of it can be a weapon or a tool." Matsu used the jungles of Voss for it while she moved about letting a hand grasp at a vine and pull it. The vine lashed out before she jumped off the tree and Matsu was looking at the creatures on Voss before she jumped up into the canopy then into the sky. Coming down for a moment while she kicked a rock through the trees. "Nothing is forbidden, everything it permitted." Her eyes were darting back and forth for it all as she kept moving letting the jungle between her and the temple become a weapon to itself.

TRAKATA

This was more of a complicated form, the saber going on and off as she attacked. Looking for that perfect strike and movement of it all. Matsu was working to practice with the padawans as she moved about taking in all of it. She moved slashing and deactivating the blade as it passed through the training sabers from the droids and activated again slicing at their heads to disable them.

MOUNTED SABER COMBAT

The Jun-la reared up as Matsu held the blade and while from her seat she didn't have the full reach there was a great deal she could do. Her blade hissing through the air while she was moving about through the jungle. The mounted creature designed for speed carried her through the jungle route allowing them to practice the saber combat. It jumped and Matsu slashed downwards bashing a tree with her saber. The two were in sync and of the same mind for movement to avoid cutting the creature.

JAR KAI

She let her hands move, as she held the hilts in them. She wasn't one for using two blades all the time but she saw the value of it in combat. She saw the value of it in the long run of what they could do while her hands moved and activated the silver blades. She had moved and built a saber with Iella finding her own enjoyment of it all in revisiting her own mind and head. The direction of her life and what was important to her. Now she was using that to harden herself just enough to continue to live and as she slashed with the sabers working to defend against the attacks had her eyes tracking the sabers from the training droids.

FAST STYLE

Duck, dodge, slash, strike... Matsu was moving fast and not really taking the time to stop. The style was not the strongest but she could preform several dozen slashes at once with both sabers as she passed through what the others were doing. The training sabers slashed into the droids now as she moved around them. A whirkwind of flurry slashes and strikes that left it in pieces. The fast style of saber combat was perfect for weaving in and out of the enemies.

MEDIUM STYLE

Matsu moved with the saber now as it slowly banked around to deflect. The medium style was a balanced style the new jedi order had created and was great against skilled enemies and gunslingers. Matsu corkscrewed through the air as she threw the blade towards the training remote letting her hands come in with a second saber to block and defend. She made a powerful slash and disengaged catching her blade coming up into an X defensive stance.

STRONG STYLE

The New Jedi order that had been formed was a strange things mostly because as they built from the barest records the jedi they had to improvise. They needed to work hard and as Matsu used the blade to slash in a powerful arc with her muscles straining, she understood some of it. Their combat was against dangerous experiments and the vong they didn't have the traditional forms and this... while not protective in the least actually leaving one exposed made breaking and fighting quite powerful. She cleaved through three of the training droids with a look around to see what was coming next.
