APPEARANCE:

Myles is average height with a medium muscular build. Even when out of uniform which happens very rarely his attire is up to the rigid standards of Imperial Society and Army regulations. His hair is kept neat and trim getting it cut every week to ensure it stays within regulations. He hardly ever smiles unless he is around his squad mates. Even then if you blink you could miss it. His posture is rigid and expressions largely neutral and all business.

BIOGRAPHY:

Myles had the most a typical life a career soldier could ever have. His father was a drug addict and alcoholic. His mother was even more of a train wreck. The fact that he managed to avoid being born with much less developing an addiction of his own is nothing short of a miracle. His first few years were spent in isolation. His parents did just enough to keep social services from taking him away from them. Once he was old enough to go to school he went to the poorest school around and even then was on every welfare program that existed. It was during these formative years that he developed the tenacity that would stick with him his entire life.

It was catching the occasional publicly aired holovids that introduced him to what life could and should be. He was mesmerized by the Soldiers he saw in them all in crisp uniforms standing tall and proud. He would watch them and then look at his own at time tattered clothing and shake his head. He longed to be one of those Soldiers in the holovids. Every day he would go by the local recruitment office and peer into the windows.

At the start of his teen years his father was caught trying to rob an undercover cop trying to get money for his next fix. With his mother also deemed unfit Myles was tossed into the foster care system. His foster parents were nice enough but Myles never really fit in with them and largely kept to himself. His mind was still on the future and what it had to offer. The Galaxy was in chaos and with each passing year the Recruiters were taking more and more recruits. The normally strict standards for enlistment were at an all time low when Myles turned 18 years old. Since Myles had no criminal record he was able to sign up. He readily signed up and shipped off to Boot Camp.

For Myles Boot Camp was heaven for him. He loved every minute of it. The Structure, the work ethic, the rules, the uniforms. What he loved best was the Marksmanship training. Once he got past the initial instruction he found each time he touched a blaster he got better. Myles finished top ten in his Company at Boot Camp before shipping out to his first assignment. When he got there his Squad Leader turned out to be a real ball breaker. He was the type to train 14 hours a day like the war was going to hit there doorstep the next day. Myles was always there right beside his Sergeant ready to take on the whole Galaxy.

In reality they only participated in a few skirmishes that most outside of the fights themselves didn't even know happened. That is the way it goes when your battles involve insurgents and pirates in your own backyard instead of Sith and Soldiers half the Galaxy away. Even so they were deadly battles in their own right with the now 22 year old Myles receiving a field promotion to SGT when his Squad Leader was killed. It was his squad now and Myles would make them the best squad in the entire Army or die trying.

Myles life would be forever changed when the Mandalorians invaded the Wookie home world. Myles and his squad were sent to reinforce the beach. Let practically alone and surrounded his squad was decimated and Myles himself badly wounded. Last thing he remembered was a Mando standing over him ready to inflict the killing blow before he woke up on the ship of a Republic aligned Jedi.

Myles would spend some time following the Jedi seeing what remained of the fractured Republic before striking out on his own searching for purpose and meaning.
