Strengths:
-Illusion Strikes: The blade is imbued with a sith rune cluster, which creates an optical illusion around the blade once the name of the blade is whispered,. Once the magic is active, the visual image of the blade and the hand and lower arm wielding it becomes blurred, masking the movement of the blade. Depending on the speed of the strike, the illusion can take on two forms. If it is swung at a moderate pace, the blade will appear like multiple blades swung at once, all with a slightly different angle and position. If swung fast, the blade will simply become a blur, which makes it hard to pinpoint the exact position and angle of the blade.
-Lightsaber resistant: Due to being forged like the sith blades of ancient times, and therefore being infused with the dark side on a modular level, the steel has become resistant to lightsaber strikes and can be used to counter or block those.
Weaknesses:
-Needs life force: The illusion of the blade is created by the power of the wielder, slowly draining the life of the wielder as long as the magic is active. To balance this out, the magic can be activated or deactivated by whispering the name of the blade.
-Mediocre Craftsmanship: While it is said that most sith blades never become dull, the one made by Darth Abyss doesn't share this trait. A scholar and not a crafter by trait, the blade mainly lives from the magic in it, but the blade itself is made fairly amateurish, with a high chance of losing its sharpness in the course of a fight.
Description: Mirazas (Illusion) is a sith blade forged and planned by the Sith Lord Darth Abyss. Other than most sith, his focus while creating this sword was not to designed the most deadly, but the most deceptive weapon he could think of, once more utilizing the art of sith runes to imbue the steel with magic fueled by the dark side.
The runes used are the Xerilof rune, which creates the base of the actual illusion, the Massass rune to direct the magic at the sight of those looking at the blade, and the Yazimel rune, which makes the illusion become physical by using the force field for photokinetic bending, so the blade will be actually preserved that way in a physical sense, not only when projected on the mind. The other runes used in the cluster for strength and balance are: The Korribunious Rune, The Sith Master Rune and The Pharnzerv Rune. The magic is summoned by whispering Mirazas, and as soon as it is active the magic begins to draw the life force from the wielder to empower the magic. By whispering the name a second time the magic fades.
To make rune magic to become permanent, they have to be baptized in blood. This is a process that has a highly symbolic character to Abyss, as he deems the choice of blood important. For his first real sith sword he used his own, making the blade a symbol for the way he fight and acts.
