Technical Specifications

Classification: Multi-purpose battle armor.
Weight: 15.666r kilograms.
Resistances: Average resistance to blasters, average resistance to kinetic, average resistance to lightsabers.

Special Features

Force-user optimized: The armor is, in the shortest number of words possible, death trooper armor redesigned to be both optimized for a force user. A lot of systems and features originally added for non-force users have been removed, and much of what remains has been modified and adjusted to be more minimal: instead working to work harmoniously with precognition and other such force abilities instead of being a far-flung replacement of it. This lets the user, if a skilled force user, make arguably more of soldier-centric features, while allowing them to use the very nearly full extent of their force powers and having fairly standard armor protection.

Vacuum resistant: The armor is resistant to vacuums and zero-gravity environments, including an internal 15 minute supply of oxygen without externally-carried oxygen tanks. This allows for EVA maneuvers and survivability in toxic and inhospitable environments.

Strengths

Force-user optimized: as above.

Vacuum resistant: as above.

Encrypted transmissions: Encrypted and cycling frequencies to the same design of death trooper communications encryption make enemy communications intelligence operations difficult, granting the armor's user security to transmit sensitive data.

Weaknesses

Heavy: The armor does draw inspiration from Darth Vader's armor, including in that it was rather heavy. Weighing in at 15.666r kilograms, while lighter than death trooper armor due to removing soldier-based items such as pouches and pauldrons, it does include durasteel construction and components. While this may be negligible for a trained soldier with a blaster, it makes significant difference in a melee fight with lightsabers.

Ion, sonic, and other unconventional attacks: The armor makes a deliberate effort to have passable resistance to most common damage forms. Being made with a force user in mind, the construction keeps in mind that a force user should be able to parry or evade a lot of attacks, being meant to use as a fallback instead of a means of defence in itself. To this end, it deliberately omits resistance to unconventional attacks such as ion, sonic, and fire, relying on the user to be able to deal with it through their own means.

Armor vulnerabilities: Like the death trooper armor it's based on, there are vulnerabilities in the joints of the armor. While these are partially reinforced by armorweave and the undersuit, it provides significantly less protection than the main construction of the armor.

Description

This unique Inquisitorius armor, made by the Imperial Electrical and Mechanical Engineers after several requests and persuasive efforts by Luyioth, is a modification of the modern death trooper armor, designed with influence from Darth Vader's armor and historical Sith armor. The idea behind the armor is that it's, for a force users armor, plain - even with all the nagging and string-pulling in the galaxy, why would a single lowly Inquisitor in a non-force dominated and regimentalized empire be worth as much as, for example, an equivalent in the Sith Empire?

As aforementioned, the armor is designed with a force user in mind: it's features and suites are made to work harmoniously with force powers and abilities, whether it be traditional powers such as lightning and push or more abstract powers such as precognition; it's aesthetic features are also meant to be ominous, to add an air of fright to a dark force user, as common in traditional sith armor designs. In exchange for fairly standard protection and its strengths, the users force powers are minimally hampered, being a great gain. Yet, with the armor being fairly plain, the armor in and of itself should be easily countered: whether it be unconventional damage methods or even just outsmarting the armor's user. At the end of the day, in exchange for better protection than robes while preserving force powers, it should be just armor - something that can be worked around by someone who knows what they're doing.

As aforementioned, a number of features have been removed, simply deemed not practical or worth its weight for an inquisitor or force user. These features include: external voice distortion; security words and safes required to remove the helmet and pieces of armor - including the self-destruct sequences for components; all pouches and pauldrons; defensive components including: absorption visor, flash guard, and blast energy sinks; the holographic tactical display; sheathes, vibrobaldes, and other weapon items; and coolant features. Likewise, a number of features have been reduced, including: the target acquisition system - modified to be more minimal to compliment precognition instead of replace it, and sonar detection systems - now intended to serve as an auxiliary for detecting persons with weak or no presence in the force.

I'm really digging the style. It looks quite awesome.

Though, could you elaborate a bit more on which systems were removed from the original? You don't have to go through each individual part in detail like the original has done, just a bit more on which functions are no longer available as a result of some of the systems being removed.

No worries. I've gone through the original thread and picked off whatever I noticed. It's been edited in as the very last paragraph in the description.
