- Good Cook: Learned how to cook from his father.
- Teras Kasi: Is very capable of fighting a force user.
- Stealthy: Being a part of a stealth unit for a time, James has gained the ability to be very quiet.
- Fast: James was a cross country runner for a time of his life and can run with sufficient speed.
- Endurance: James has plenty of stamina due to his youth and virility.
- Tough: Through his father's genes, James got a bit of his old man's toughness and can take a beating.
