Self-Preservation - Helio will abandon a situation if it seems like her life would be at risk. She has a very high level of self preservation, even if it means having to leave someone behind. Strong bonds may give her pause, but, without other input, she'll fall back and regroup rather than risk her own skin for someone else.
Manipulative - Helio has spent most of her life perfecting her ability to manipulate others. There are very few people she can't manipulate at least some of the time.
People Person - Not only is Helio social and friendly, but she has the ability to read others easily. It's one of the strengths which most assists her with manipulating others.
Alone but never lonely - Although Helio is an army of one, she never considers that a bad thing. There may not be stability to her life or the same person to come home to, but she's never actually alone. There's always the next mark to show her a good time and that's good enough to keep her happy.
Freeloader - Although it's a lifestyle that works for her, it means that Helio is always at the mercy of others for her general necessities.
Lover not a fighter - Helio has no fighting skills to speak of. She avoids physical confrontation whenever possible and is careful to avoid verbal spats where she can if she thinks it may escalate beyond words. Leave the fighting to the brawlers and the soldiers; that's no business of hers. At best, Helio could utilize an improvised weapon or shakily held blaster to protect herself. No guarantees on the accuracy of the shot though.

BIOGRAPHY:
Helio has spent her life hopping from worlds to space stations and back, and has spent most of that time doing so through someone else's means. As long as she isn't the one paying, she's quite happy to go anywhere, try something new, and yes, she will have another one, please.
Helio can't remember a time when she was tied to one location; her parents traveled from one end of the galaxy to the other while she was growing up and a month didn't pass where Helio didn't have a change of scenery. When she turned 16, she headed off on her own, armed with street smarts and an ego she couldn't possibly hope to live up to. In the first month, she had managed to lose what funds she had left home with. Every person she thought she was playing, every victory she thought was hers, was in fact her own youth and ignorance blinding her to others taking advantage of her hubris. She was left stranded on a station by her last ride, a woman who had been playing that game for much longer than Helio. Unwilling to return home, she found honest work in one of the establishments on the station and worked there for a full year. During that time, she was able to observe others doing what she had tried to and she gathered tips for grifting along with her earned tips. She took to testing those skills at other bars and communal areas until she knew them well enough to begin using them in earnest. Her youth made up in many cases for what she didn't know or for slips she made, and over the next several years she picked up enough tricks to keep her happy and to make sure she could change scenes whenever she liked.
