BIOGRAPHY:
Gaarbacca was born on the lush, wroshyr tree-filled home world of the Wookiees, known as Kashyyyk. His name means brave, bold, fearless, ally, and friend. Since he was born, Gaarbacca has received the common upbringing in Wookie society, and has thrived on his home planet that consists of immense jungles and forest, along with seas, lakes, and rivers. When he was an infant, Gaarbacca remained in the nursery rings, which all Wookie infants did so when they were born, and it was there where he learned how to interact within his society among other Wookies and was taught to appreciate Kashyyyk’s wildlife.
At the end of each school day, Gaarbacca was taken home by his parents, so they could maintain the sense of family. Later in his young life, Gaarbacca stayed home full time with the rest of his kin, where he was given his first responsibilities in life in the form of housekeeping chores. His chores usually related to cooking, cleaning, and other housekeeping tasks, which was typical within Wookiee society.
As a student with an interest in enginerring, Gaarbacca sought out an engineering teacher, where he eventually found one and undertook in mulptiple projects, which consisted of construction, the repairs of engines and machinery of starships, along with technological repairs as well. It was around this time that Gaarbacca had to perform the initiation ritual that made him enter young adulthood. In most parts of Kashyyyk, incumbents to the coming-of-age ritual had to gather silk fibers from the center of a carnivorous syren plant. Few Wookiees undertook this endeavor alone, because even with their famous strength, a single Wookiee was no match for a syren plant's entrapping petals.
Usually Wookiees undergoing this test of courage would do so in numbers, since it took at least two Wookiees to hold the syren petals back, allowing another Wookiee to harvest the fibers. A few unusually courageous or clever Wookiees have managed the feat alone, which Gaarbacca happen to be one of the few to achieve the feat, solely due to his Force sensitivity assisting him in completing the initiation ritual.
It is rare for Wookies to be Force sensitive, with few being born only every century or so, and Gaarbacca was one of the few, which he took full pride in. He always idolized the renowned Wookies, Lowbacca and Chewbacca. Lowbacca was a Wookie that was Force sensitive as well, eventually becoming a Jedi Master during his time, and Chewbacca was honored as a legend among all Wookies, which Gaarbacca's aspiration was to one day be renowned just like the two famous Wookies he idolized.
During the next few years, Gaarbacca experienced many events, one being the massive battle between the Wookies and the savage creatures from the Shadowlands called, Terentateks. They were enormous creatures with spines growing from their backs and a pair tusk-like projections attached to their mouths. They had massive claws, four to a hand, with the tusks and claws being highly venomous. They also fed off the blood of Force-sensitives, and Garbacca was fortunate to survive, and escape their wrath of devastation Other events were much more pleasant, such as Life Day, which was a holiday that was celebrated by the Wookies of Kashyyyk every three years, and it was on that day where Gaarbacca realized his destiny was to become a Jedi.
After Life Day was over, Gaarbacca departed from Kashyyyk via a transport starship, a passenger carrier, and began traveling threw the galaxy seeking to receive Jedi training from a Jedi Knight or Jedi Master.
