Special Features: Imbued with a number of diffrent Poisons (X-1, Synox, Ixetal cilona). Sith runes that allow the knifes to absorb the poisons.
Strengths:
-Poison absorption: Due to the sith runes caved into the steel, the knife is able to keep a liquid poison imbued until the blade hits something.
-Poisoned: The knifes are imbued with three different Poisons: X-1, a drug that reduces the mental capabilities of the victim, Synox a highly lethal substance and Ixetal cilona the main ingredient of a death stick, which alters the targets perception of space and time while reducing its ability to use the force. The substances are diluted with water to be better absorbed and therefore less potent than in their raw form,yet it is very hard to cleanse the body of the toxins as they are all fast acting and aimed at different parts of the brain. If not cleansed at least partly, the target will experience as mix of hallucinations, with a clear diminishing effect on mental, physical and force abilities. Due to the poisons being diluted this effect only stays active for up to 10 minutes.
Weaknesses:
-Useless in close combat: Not only are the knifes to small to be really used in a fight face to face, there is also no grip on their hilts, making it easy to touch the blade by accident, a high risk considering the poisons on the blade.
Description: Throwing Knifes always had been a standard in Darth Abyss arsenal, but after a long and brutal fight against another sith lord, Darth Vupua, he recognized the need to increase the effectiveness of his weapons, which only had been more of an distracting nature, not an offensive one. Therefore he began to research the possible alterations that could be made for such weapons, settling on the simple, yet effective method of poison in the end. But there was no substance that fully reached his needs, so he began with a series of experiments, trying different mixtures of various poisons. After a number of unsatisfying attempts, he found the one. X-1, a drug used to hinder the victims mental capabilities to a strong degree, synox, a simple yet highly lethal poisons, and Ixetal cliona, the substances from which deathsticks are made, notorious not only for its hallucinogenic potential, but for its ability to diminished the use of the force. The mix is not only highly effective, but also hard to get out of the bloodstream both with the force and with conventional means.
The knifes themselves are altered with the use of sith runes, which are made permanent by the blood of those that died in his experiments. The Ziggra'nar rune is used to permanently alter the form of the knifes, allowing them to get the poison mix into the metal on a modecular level while the Ur Rune is used to keep it there. The Bizor Rune is used to make the knifes give of their poison inside once the blade cuts into something. The Kilthor Rune, the Sith Master Rune and the Korribunious Rune are used to strengthen and balance out the magic.
