Yuri's visit to Kestri and his sister was short, though it still dropped a world's weight onto his shoulders. First his mother, now his aunt. He needed the distraction from the pain in his heart. He needed to be strong, for his sister at the very least. And what better distraction than a little payback? The moment a notice of a rogue Jedi crossed his path, he stamped in the coordinates and jumped to hyperspace in hops of reaching the target before anyone else.

Despite his rush, however, a thought was gnawing in the back of his mind. The Jedi, they wouldn't let a rogue just run around unchallenged. They would almost certainly send someone of worthy calibre after a rogue, which meant a healthy dose of two Strills with one shot. A challenge the hateful Shistavanen could not pass up.

His trip eventually took him to Devaron, a fearsome planet with equally fearsome people. They were difficult and didn't shy away from a fight. He had dealt with more than his fair share of Devaronians in Underworld, he didn't need to deal with them on their home turf now. His freighter touched down in the jungle and the armoured Mandalorian emerged from the cargo bay, sparing a glance at Baby as he adjusted his grenades and gear on his kit. He roughly knew what to expect, however it paid to be prepared. Especially with a difficult target such as this.

And so the long trip into the jungle began. According to his tracker, the target was holed up in an old structure not too far from where he landed. From what he could see, it was an ancient Jedi outpost dating back to the Clone Wars. He doubted it, but it wouldn't surprise him. Luckily he had his armour to shelter him from all the mosquitoes...

Now and again there would be assignments to bring back rogue Jedi, a task which was quite tedious and sensitive for both parties. Silas wasn't very fond of them, but his role as a Jedi showed no bounds. There was no choice, it was just going to be one of those days again for the young knight who had yet to falter on the obstacles put in front of him.

Coming out of hyperspace, Silas zoomed into the planet's atmosphere in his X-wing and raced towards the coordinates provided by the order. In the briefing, it noted the rogue Jedi was holding out in an old Jedi outpost last used in the Clone Wars. They probably wouldn't have found him if it wasn't for some locals giving the order a tip off, which was also quite concerning since they could have told others. Right now, it was a matter of who got there first.

Finally, after a short time, Silas was able to find a clearing in the jungle and land his ship. Once landed, the Jedi opened his cockpit and jumped out with a small backpack filled with some survival gear. Jungles were a pain to get through on foot, as experienced from previous training with Valery. Although, as long as he kept on route he'd be able to get through the green desert and confront the Jedi first.

Rolling up his sleeves, he ignited his lightsaber and began to make light work of the greenery. The bugs on the other hand were going to be a different story...

Trudging through the thick jungles and treacherous nature of Devaron, Yuri kept his pistol handy for any surprises. One that brought a massive smile to his features, however, was the whine of an Alliance X-wing flying overhead. He watched as it touched down before he continued with his trip to the outpost.

The options were spinning in his mind as he contemplated the options. It might be a rogue but there was still a chance that both Jedi would team up against him. As much as he liked to think it, he simply wasn't that good of a fighter. He came to a halt and glanced back to the direction of the X-wing for a few moments. Here he had the advantage. Plants, animals, bugs, plenty of cover from a Jedi's senses. With a grunt he changed his course toward the new arrival and fiddled with his vambrace. A tiny droid detached and flew into the canopy above him to scout ahead for the Jedi. In the meantime, Yuri used his grappling line to shoot into the trees and move through the branches before moving back down again to avoid the comparatively open terrain.

Once his little droid returned with a ping, Yuri stalked through the trees, roots and thicket towards his prey, keeping a clear and quiet mind in hopes of possible detection through the Force. All he needed to do was get close enough for one good shot. One that came sooner than expected as he saw blue streaks cutting through thick vegetation. He drew his blaster rifle, set the power to max and rested against some branches to get a good lock on his target. The Jedi's face came into his crosshairs and Yuri's finger tightened around the trigger... but he froze as he focused on the Jedi's features.

For a brief second anger and shock paralyzed him. He recognized the guy. All too well. Many days spent with him acting as their babysitter while their parents were off doing things. When he snapped out of the moment of realization, Yuri's features curled into a snarl and he fired a shot aimed directly at Silas' chest.

He needed the head intact.
