Description: The Yt-Marauder is a unique class of freighter, Chani grew up on Nar Shaddaa with this special vehicle and owes her life to it's particular features, it is not as fast as a millenium falcon through open hyper space, or even in the Kessel run, but the moment they drop out of Hyperspace is where The 'Celestron' shines. She functions tactically like a fighter and bomber, equipped with two delicious 180 degree quad laser turrets on the top and bottom to complete an almost perfect 360 degree arc, but this is dog fighting and she never really sticks around long enough to care about being top gun. It is in the multi-mission feature of Chani's Bomber chambers that gives this YT-Marauder it's interesting sounding name. Both bombs are designed to support a larger squad of ship in taking down/assisting with corvettes and capital ships, relatively.
All of this has been chump change compared to what Chani truly invested in, two features which make her smile every time, first The Slam Drive, The YT-marauder goes just as fast as any other YT outside hyperspace, but with the Slam she achieves Bounty Hunter status in the capacity to quickly burst in speed to- and for that one speed moment she gets to train her guns on them in the weak spot, a speedy surprise, but with this extra speed comes her second smile and that is in the generally higher class materials that make up the lining of the ship and her cockpit, a girls gotta protect herself. Her power-core supplements the extra required energy needed for strenuous incidents on the engines which look like they belong on a corvette, right? That's exactly where they came from.
