Well-Wishing

(OOC: This is just a thread to help fill in the gap between Circe's recovery and her return to action as a part of the Fringe. If you cause any trouble, I will tell you to leave the thread.)

ANNAJ, ROOM 330, GENERAL MEDICAL HOSPITAL

Circe sighed. It had been months since she had been critically injured at the Fringe elections by the sister of Rave Merrill, who now stood disgustingly tall in the Fringe. Circe had become so furious at the sight of her that she couldn't even watch the holos anymore without seeing some reference to the eerily purple-eyed woman. But then again, she had better things to do, like recover from her injuries.

The thorns and other 'additions' that Rave had forced upon her had been removed. Unfortunately, this required the removal of all her limbs and a significant amount of her torso, in order to heal her up. Circe had as well been shaved bald to remove all the leaves and the flowers that had grown in her hair. However, with copious amounts of water biomass being fed into her, her limbs were mostly rejuvenated, though still somewhat paralyzed. The Force was her only way of moving and controlling things now.

As well, the worms had successfully been purged from her system, as had the remnants of Rave's blood. She was in good condition, and would be ready to leave the hospital... once she regained full motion of her arms and legs. For now, she was simply here, lonely.

Of course I was furious. More agitated than I had ever been before. I couldn't even watch the holos anymore without smashing the screen to bits. Someone had the nerve to try and destroy my savior, my friend. Now they were going to pay. One day I would be strong enough to tear them to shreds, and I would. This... This Rave Merril was going to find herself deader than dead could be. And the cause of her demise? A pen to the neck, stabbed farther in then previously though possible. I will kill her. But first I will make her suffer. Even if I have to kill everyone she cares about, I will make her feel more pain than anyone has ever experienced before.
And I will enjoy it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Feeling any better?" I asked, stepping into the room with a cup of Stim Caf and a glass of water. The later was for Circe if she wanted it. Don't think she likes this Caf stuff. But I sure as hell do. Now that I had calmed down some about the incident, it had become my focus to help my friend recover. Healing people wasn't something I was good at... though after this, it was added to my "Must Learn" list. An event like this would not happen again.
Ever.

Ka'thal stepped into the hospital patient room and stared down the broken Sith Lady in bed. Ka'thal could not help but laugh at her expense. He leaned his gun against the wall and took a seat next to Circe. "So the rumors were true. You got knocked the kark out, eh?" he chuckled, trying to get a laugh out of her.

"So, I heard you've been suffering from some..harassment in the galaxy. This true?" Ka'thal was devising a plan that would set him up for life. Working for a Sith Lady would surely prove fruitful. "I can help you with that if you'll have me." Ka'thal was in a full set of Sun Guard gear, minus the helmet. His affiliation with the Sun Guard would be clear by the helmet that resembled the Imperial Guard's helmets.

Sure, Rave had nearly killed Circe Savan. But in doing so, she had unintentionally doomed thirty other lives. Elaboration will be given in a moment.
Ever since Ven'Rain became force sensitive, she had trained and trained. Working as hard as she could to be as strong as possible. She had been in the middle of beating someone to a bloody pulp on the training mat when she received the news. Her lover was injured- potentially fatally. At first she thought it was a cruel joke, thinking that not many were tough enough to beat Savan. But proof was given, and Rage was unleashed.
The poor soul who delivered the message was soon dead, neck having being snapped with one quick movement. Next to die was the one Ven had been sparring with, who ended up with a pen jabbed into his jugular. Third was the original pilot of the shuttle the merc was to take, who informed her he could not take off just yet due to a system failure. Within moments his windpipe was shattered, and he suffocated, hands grasping at his neck. In the end Ven took her own ship to the hospital, stopping on some boring planet to kill half of a village before leaving, anger partially sated.
And so twenty nine were dead. A guard who didn't recognize Ven was the last to die, his own arm having been cut off and used to bludgeon him to death. With this, the lass was able to reach the one she loved, and enter full-out body guard mode. As she should be.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Vanessa Nacht Seele was okay in the mad merc's book. She wasn't another of Savan's romantic interests, but merely a friend, and a loyal one at that. In fact, Ven had grown to enjoy the woman's company, and appreciated having another person around to protect their injured companion. Having someone to run errands was also good, for ever since the incident, the redhead had worn her full armor and stayed by her lover's side. A little nod was given when Nacht entered, nothing more, nothing less.

But when another man entered, Ven quickly stood up, letting out a growl as she heard the laughing. It pissed her off, as many, many things did. Taking a step forward she stood in front of the man, yellow eyes glaring at his. "WHO THE KARKING HELL ARE YOU? AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST BARGE IN HERE, LAUGH AT CIRCE, AND GET AWAY WITH IT?" Rage growled, her voice filling the room easily. She had no idea who this man was, but if he didn't explain himself soon, he was going to get a face full of pain real soon.

Circe looked at the grass and the person who had addressed it. The floral company's representative was told by Circe to tell @[member="Jorus Merrill"] that "that dirty son of a schutta will get exactly what he deserves one day."

Then came Vanessa. "Thanks for the water... Pour it into my mouth, please. Can't move my arms and legs that well right now." She wiggled her appendages in response.

Then came the Sun Guard. "Sun Guard, right? I can tell by the non-red Royal Guard uniform. Let's discuss..."

Then came Ven. "Relax, Ven... he's at least being an nerf herder who's trying to share his wears. That already makes him better than Hannibal."

@[member="Ven'Rain Sekairo"] @Ka'thal Valone @[member="Vanessa Nacht Seele"]

Yikes. There's nothing more frightening then a pissed off Rage Ven. Her booming voice made me cringe, and I was glad Circe asked her to relax. After all, Savan was the only person who was able to calm the merc down. As whatever was going on continued, I did as asked, helping my friend get the water she needed. God, I hated seeing her like this. Made me want to kill that schutta who hurt her even more every second. I'd do it one day. Or Ven would... Yeah, probably Ven. Or maybe we'd do it together?
Eh, either way, that Merrill person was going to be hunted down the rest of her life. The only question is whether or not she'd realize it until it was too late. That and whether she'd die from a pen in the neck or a crushed wind pipe...

It was a shady little corner of hell. Ashelotte had been there, right by Circe's side almost the entire time she'd finally known Circe was ever hospitalized. She was mostly utterly confused at what even happened, a bit ashamed she was too busy to be there and see it all for herself. Needless to say, the one responsible was already dead... they just weren't aware of it's approach yet. Once no one was exactly paying attention - which Ashelotte quickly realized was quickly when a few large credit chips were waved under their noses - she stole a few supplies from the infirmary, draining a generous portion of her blood to put in Circe's IVs. Though her abilities to heal could hardly transcend past mere cuts and bruises, her blood had more midi-chlorians than many Jedi had in their entire bodies. Such substance could factually keep the flesh, organs and nervous system in tact. Couple that with a Vinithi's regenerative process and the stream of Force healing abridged through it, and the body would be at least functional in no time. They would be out of the hospital in as little as one night.
"My blood flows through your veins, darling. You'll be out of here very soon. I'm sorry I wasn't... wasn't there, that I couldn't be here sooner."
Ashelotte's hand began clenching the sheet, until hearing a voice and looking up.
"You have visitors, my love."

"Ven, dear, please kindly shut the hells up or I'll personally 'escort' you out. Circe is trying to recover." Ashelotte quickly quipped. It was a hospital, not a battlefield. Yelling was bad for the patients, namely Circe.

This being the capital of the Fringe Confederation and Circe being Circe, her recovery was, of course, closely overseen. So when a guard died, another staffer reported taking a bribe (standard procedure was to accept the bribe before reporting, as it increased medical staffer survivability in high-security cases), and a nurse reported four people crammed into one hospital room -- one of them very loud indeed --

Ashin found it necessary to accelerate her timetable.

It wasn't often a military dictator came to visit a hospital, without bodyguards or associates. Annaj General still had protocols. Without complication, Ashin was escorted and then directed to the room in question.

"Hello, Circe," she said. "Glad to see you're still alive. And these must be your friends. Forgive me -- I'm Ashin Varanin." As in, a ruler of this planet and everything around it for a long, long way. "Welcome to my capital. Now," she said, taking a seat next to the Sun Guard, "which one of you dismembered my guard, and which one of you bribed the nurse?"

Her eyes narrowed fractionally as she sensed the bloody IV and the woman beside it, and she coughed out a laugh. The IV stopped working. "You're trying to use Ruferalahuin blood to heal her? Leaving aside the fact that she's a plant, Rufie blood may be a bit of a curiosity, but if blood with a high midiclorian count could heal, I'd be mainlining her right now. No quack science on my friend in my hospital on my world, please. We have competent doctors and alchemists for that.

"I'm still waiting on hearing who killed the guard, by the way."

Without announcement or reason a hologram of Kiyala would sprang to life before Circe. Telepathy and illusions would have either been impossible or too draining at this distance and she had been instructed to keep her interactions with the Fringe minimal but with her mother dying and a friend rumored to be hosipitalized she had to bend the rules of the plan a little. Standing in her Queen's attire as a make-up artist attempted to do her hair and makeup while failing because she would not sit still.

"I wish I could be there in person to wish you well and to possibly help you out with your healing but business rest for no woman. It's good to see you up and moving however @[member="Circe Savan"]." Her holographic image flickered intensely for a moment but more in likely it was interference from space as her homeworld and the Fringe were literally world's apart. This also being the reason she could not make it to vote for the new leadership of the Fringe thus not knowing that it was two of her friend; Circe and Rave who were the ones fightings or even what really happened during the fight. Kiyala learned from leading that listening to hearsay was not them most accurate way of gaining intelligence.

As if noticing the others in the room she offered any who noticed her a wave and a smile, and to @[member="Ashin Varanin"] she brandished the serrated knife that was given to her as a gift. She showed that she had in hidden within her sleeves and wink to Ashin knowing she would get the reference that she herself made about it being a noble's weapon. . .

Ka'thal smirked slightly as @[member="Ven'Rain Sekairo"] was scolded by the fox woman. "You heard the pretty lady." he stated, referring to @[member="Ashelotte Saybin"], to Ven with a slight chuckle. "Sorry, Lady Circe. Wasn't tryin' to make fun." he apologized. Ka'thal flashed his award-winning smile as the ruler of thousand worlds, @[member="Ashin Varanin"], walked in. "Good evening, Lady Ashin." he greeted. "Good to see your doing well after all the poodoo you've been through." he joked. "As for your questions, I had nothing to do with either." he answered.

Ka'thal turned back to @[member="Circe Savan"] and readied to speak his deal after the hologram fully relayed it's message to the recovering Sith Lady. "Yeah, Sun Guard." he replied to Circe's inference of his occupation and affiliation. "I think it's obvious to the entire motley crue here that even a Sith Lady needs protection. I can offer you that." A dark grin spread across his face. "All I require from you is a hefty sum of credits plus the equipment I desire in order to give you the best protection in the galaxy." he offered, leaning forward in his chair, elbows planted onto his knees.

"Heh..." Ashelotte quaintly laughed, "Aww, you're cute! Then I'm afraid you have much to learn about the Vinithi and Ruferalahuin. By the way, what is a 'midi-chlorian'?" Ashelotte stated, genuinely oblivious to such terms and sciences.
She didn't even know it was commonly called the Force until recently, but she knew how to use it. No foreigners could possibly know about the Ruferalahuin without reading their species bio page, let alone of such intricate details. Ashin was either bluffing or stole through Circe's personal files.
"Where are my manners today, Lady Ashelotte Savan, Lady Circe's wife. It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss @[member="Ashin Varanin"]." If looks could kill... hers could commit mass genocide and vanish without a single fingerprint.
Ashelotte paused, using a slight and subtle tug of the Force to push the last held up remnants of the blood down the tube into her lover's system, simultaneously exerting the last of her healing powers needed.
"Oh, yes, and sorry to hear about your guard. Perhaps you would consider employing better security? I wonder where they were when this transpired. Were they all dead as well?"
Ashelotte leaned her body over the edge of the bed, resting her head near her lover's to softly speak something to her ear at a comfortable distance.
"I've done what I can, and I'm starting to get a little faded from exhaustion. I've given a lot of blood and healing. You should be able to finally move by the end of the day, my love."
She smiled, kissing the Vinithi gently on the forehead and raising back to her seat. She kept the fatigue well veiled, mustering up most of her strength to override her body language.

To put it simply, Ven was still not a happy camper. But when Circe asked her to relax, she did her best. With a little huff she stepped back, sitting in one of the chairs. A finger (you can guess which one) was given to Ashelotte. The only person the merc took orders from was Circe. Not this weirdo, the Sun Guard, or even Ashin karking Varanin herself. It did not help that the woman was still furious, upset that the whole incident had even been allowed to happen. So any attempt to get her to behave rationally was pretty much futile.
Even Circe may find it hard to control her.
"Ven'Rain Sekairo. Employee, lover, and Chief Enforcer of Lady Circe Savan. And yeah, I killed the guard. Forgive me, but the bastard wouldn't let me see the woman I'm supposed to be protecting. Didn't recognize me, apparently. So, still full of rage on the fact that no one had interfered in the fight when it would have been best, I punched him, sliced his arm off, and then beat him with it. Oops." It was hard for Ven's Rage personality to speak at a normal level. Even when she wasn't yelling, her voice seemed to boom throughout a space. But for Circe, she did her best.

"Relax, Ashe... This is supposed to be a peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable time as I recuperate my strength." She then turned to Ashin. "Yeah... Some of them, anyways." Then Kiyala's hologram. "Good to see you and I are friends, darling. Remind me to make a meeting with you once I'm back and feeling better." Then the Sun Guard. "Eh, I've never been one to throw away an offer of help. What specifically do you need or want from me?" She merely nodded at Ashe when she continued, then looked over at Ashin. "Ven has... personality issues. Her personality is unfortunately split between Rage Ven, Caged Ven, and Ven Ven. Don't blame this aspect of her personality for doing what another did."

A guard, as dressed and stoic as the rest of them, slid into the room to stand at attention as emerald eyes slowly surveyed the scene before him. The owner of the armor would definitely be feeling the aftereffects of Kaine's power that had rendered him unconscious for a few days, but he would remember nothing of the incident. A dead guard would have aroused suspicion, but this way was vastly superior in terms of relative safety to his agenda. The only reason he had come was to watch the continued degrade of Circe's social standing among all of those she had previously thought to be her friends and allies. Only a few were truly loyal to her, but even they were nothing but vermin in comparison. Why Circe surrounded herself with these vagabonds, Kaine would never truly know, or why she continued to show them such affection.

Eventually she would learn the price of such attachments, just like Kaine did all those years ago. For now he continued to watch silently from the corner of the room, letting everything play out organically around him.

"That gives no reason to take a life Circe...If those reasons were reasons enough - most would not survive life in general."

Spencer moved through the door carrying a small pot of plants. She had opted out of the usual flower bouquet and just brought in greenery. Assuming how Circe was, she figured green was the woman's favorite color and it would hopefully bring some light into her day. Walking over, ignoring everyone in the room she placed the potted plant on the small table near Circe so she could get a lovely eye full of the plants. Returning back towards the door she stood near Ashin and drew down her hood and sighed softly. Yellow eyes glanced towards the uppity girl who claimed to have different minds swarming in one.

"Personality issue or not, she attacked a soldier that belonged to the planet, he wasn't a nameless figure, he had a family, a name, thoughts, dreams, and plans. Because you didn't know his name or because he was just doing his job...does that give you a right to take his life? In this sense, mercy wasn't shown by someone who I care for so mercy shall not be shown..."

Spencer looked towards Ashin, giving the woman the look that told her she knew what she needed to do...

"Agency's agency. We're all responsible for our own actions. But ignorance can mitigate that. I don't think any of you understand where you are or who we are, and because of your ignorance, you're allowed a full five minutes to get off my planet before I personally collect, from myself, the astronomical bounties I'm about to deploy on each and every one of you.

"Except Miss Ven. When even Spencer Jacobs says it's time for the gloves to come off..."

Lightning jumped from the sitting Dark Master's hands, closing in around @[member="Ven'Rain Sekairo"] like a cage. This was not, for the record, your average lightning. This was the full fury of the Dark Lord of the Sith.

One did not murder Ashin's people on Ashin's world and expect to walk away.

@[member="Spencer Jacobs"] "Doing his job? Where was that guard when Circe was wrought to this bed? I am very curious. An eye for an eye, as the ancients say. Wouldn't you agree that to be fair recompense? Here, what if I were to offer a hundred AT-LTA's for the clearing of her name and ignorance of Circe's little... incident?"
Ashelotte wasn't exactly in love with the idea of being friendly with the girl, but to be fair, she deserved a chance. She deserved to be let to do the job the guards failed at, and she couldn't think of a bigger embarrassment to an establishment or its leaders than to have their subordinates fail so blatantly at their only job. Then, of course, she was interrupted by something else.
"I will stay here for however long Circe wishes it. The moment your thumb leaves the datapad you place the bounty on, my little friend IBIS will have already doubled it on you through the HoloNet and ordered waves of ships to glass this adorable little gem of the cosmos. It is your call. I have done in two hours what took your medical team two months. I do for for her now what your guards failed to do then, and ultimately paid fate's price for. I can think of no greater embarrassment to this establishment than the failure of its members and the exile of its ally."
Ashelotte turned to Circe, fury in her eyes but calm collection in her face.
"Perhaps we should leave. I can have you brought to the best medical center in this entire galaxy where you may continue the remainder of your... short and quick recovery. Please, love, I'd rather not take innocent lives."
