Watokico is the name bestowed upon the unique fighting knife created by the Master Alchemist, Isley Verd. Specificially, it was designed to be utilized by Kiyala Demont and as such features many characteristics to make the blade suitable for her use. To begin, the aesthetic of the blade closely resembles that of a Nightsister Dagger; which pays homage to the heritage that Kiyala holds quite dear. What's more, the handle of the weapon was specifically fitted for Kiyala's hand, providing a comfortable and secure grip; whilst also making it unwieldy and difficult to hold for those of different hand sizes. In addition, Watokico comes with a leather carrying case that can be easily incorporated into any belt; be it a utility belt or otherwise.
Of course, the strengths of the weapon reside in the effects gleaned from the Alchemy process. To begin, the molecular adjustments made to the base Desh-Terenthium resulted in a fighting knife that is impervious to the blades of lightsabers. Furthermore, Watokico enjoys a rather impressive durability that is standard with most items created through the Metallurgy aspect of Sith Alchemy. The degree of this durability is described as being nigh indestructible, in addition to the fact that the blade will never dull. This is due to its having been sharpened upon a "Sith Whetstone" composed of Svoltan Rhyolite. In addition to the aforementioned durability, Watokico boasts the ability to deflect or reflect the bolts of blasters and lasers. This is an effect gained through the reversal of its magnetic polarity and polishing the weapon to a flawless shine.
However, even these pale in comparison to the weapon's most striking ability. When exposed to Force-based electricity, Watokico acts as a lightning rod; attracting and absorbing said energies. Then, upon striking a target, the energies stored within the fighting knife's length will be unleashed upon the target. This results in potentially grievous electrical damage on the part of the victim. It is to be noted that, unlike weapons considered masterwork by the alchemy community, the weapon does not produce a nexus of Dark Side energies. Yet, it is still characterized by a noticeable, Dark Side aura that is a tell-tale sign of how it was created. Furthermore, the blade was treated with Kiyala Demont's own blood, thereby allowing it to be much more responsive to her conducting the Force through its form; such as when utilizing Force Weapon.
As a whole, Watokico, meaning "Avenger" in the ancient Paecaen tongue, is a fitting weapon to serve at the side of Kiyala Demont.
