Vote for Which Character Lives!

So I will be doing a thread in which Valashu, my most recent main character, is truly accepting the darkside and in doing so believes he must kill one he cares for. While he does not love Damien, Valashu relies on him a great deal, so I plan for it to be between the two!

So my question is, who should live and die? Should I do one of those online dice rolls for damage received, attacks connected etc? Or should I simply leave it all to the voters?

For the benefit of knowing each character, their crappy (never updated bios) are in the links under their corresponding avatars.

But a brief summary:

Damien Daemon is a wealthy ancient (over 3 millennia), whom is a master alchemist, a powerful mentalist, and overall badass. He has killed my other character (off screen) Zaiden James-Greyson, and through his mastery of Force Walk, has managed to bind the spirit to himself.

Valashu is a solo trained character that achieved Master recently, and since I have only really done small things with (rl issues causing this). He is an archer, whose main battle skills pertain to White Current illusions (mastery of) and telekinetics (knighthood equivalent - though with the use of the Gauntlet of Crassus reaches a decent master level). He has no real other skills beside this. Can't even read minds etc.

In their own ways, both are the polar opposites of the other. One badass through a lot of ic training, another badass because he never backs down.

I say do a coin flip all the way through, and on the last post, ask a few people you know to read the thread, and vote who is the ultimate victor they would like to see.

Leaves lots of room for creative writing, and even keeps you, the writer, on your toes.

And if you don't feel comfortable with a particular result, trust your gut and change it, so there are no regrets. That way, you are beholden to nothing, and through chance you shall find which one you truly desire to live.

If it were me personally though, I would give the new guy the chance to become a bad ass.
