Tera Lush cries out for help!

An unusually well-armed, and well-trained, band of pirates have begun mercilessly raiding their trade routes. The thieves have destroyed many cargo ships, killed their crews, and stolen much of Tera Lush’s vital supplies.

Whispers arrive from the Iron Imperial Security Bureau. Agents of the Iron Empire have tracked down the vile lawbreakers, locating their base of operations: A re-purposed Pravus-class Civilian Station in the Thexoll system.

Reports indicate that the pirates have modified the station, overhauling the once modest Pravus-class with a bevy of illegal weapons and defensive systems. Effectively, it has been transformed into a floating-fortress.

However, to so foolishly provoke the great two-headed wolf, invites its bloodthirsty wrath. Under the command of the Pale Wolf: Grand Admiral Faer’hia’nuruodo, a fleet of Iron Imperial vessels race to the system, determined to deliver the Emperor’s justice.

Objectives:

  1. Engage and destroy the Pirate fleet.
  2. Board the Pirate installation, and capture it.
  3. Board the Pirate installation, and capture their wicked leader.
  4. BYOO.
  5. Have fun!

"Look alive, lock and load boyos. We launch in 5!" The sound of rustling gear and weapons powering up filled the shuttle's troop bay.

"You think we'll get medals this time?" Young, hungry for recognition. A soldier for the sake of perceived glory.

"Medals are for the dead and injured," A realist, maybe a little too real. Borderline pessimistic, "I just want to get home to my kids." Or maybe hopeful after all.

The shuttle rocked slightly in the hangar. They had dropped out of hyperspace, the battle had begun. Hopefully his shuttle didn't get blown out of the sky.

"Alright, just like the IISB said," the hologram projector in the palm of Pryce's armor lit up, displaying the fortified civilian station for all in the shuttle to see, our mission is to get into that flying fortress. Courtesy of the IISB we're borrowing their Iron Shadow, that's the ship you're standing in now for those of you who weren't paying attention. Jones I'm looking at you." The group laughed. "Until we get on board the station coms will be absolutely silent, this thing only has particle shields so if they or their fighters notice us we're done for. Alright, this should be nice and easy, we've got the strongest navy this side of the Unknown Regions and Grand Admiral Rhianu has graced us with her presence. Let's try to not kark this up. Dismissed!"

The shuttle lifted off and flew into the unknown.

Jordan was running a bit late for the operation assigned to her. She was so preoccupied with her studies that she forget about the mission at hand. She ran full sprint through the corridors of the ship she was aboard until she reached the hangar. She looked around at the shuttles being loaded up with troopers until she spotted one with some room for her. The young Morelian jumped over the railing and, with the aid of the Force, cushioned her landing a bit and ran for the shuttle.

"Excuse me! Pardon me!" she exclaimed as she weaved through the masses of troopers towards a shuttle. She managed to squeeze her tiny frame on board one right before the doors closed. "Ah, made it." she sighed as she caught her breath. The ship rocked a bit as it left the hangar and flew for the civilian station filled with pirates. Jordan had never faced pirates before, but was eager to get the chance.

RC-1047

A plan is only as good as those who see it through
RC-1047 did a slight jog behind a figure running to the shuttle, He was still reviewing the Missions Objectives, he didn't want to mess up within the field- that would've been embarrassing! The sound of yelling and talking could be heard on the shuttle, It excited RC-1047, it felt like- like he was reliving his Former Life once more, Casper held the DC-17M close to him, his hands gripped the weapon with a steel grip, "Excuse me! Pardon me!" RC-1047 turned to look at the figure, when Casper tried to recognize her face he failed to, RC-1047 just didn't know her.

When the ship rocked RC-1047 grinned under his mask, his adrenaline was already starting to run, Casper tried to listen hard at the person talking within the shuttle but everyone else around him was talking so he only got a few words out of it, "Grand Admiral Rhianu has graced us with her presence. Let's try to not kark this up. Dismissed!" A figure said within the crowd of troopers Casper nodded to himself mentally preparing himself for what would be out there.

"Major! Incoming message from General Benneck." Shouted a sitrep from their communications station.

Great. The last thing Bunker wanted was Mech judging his every move from HQ. He seems to forget, in the heat of battle you make decisions and hope you live long enough to deal with the consequences. Bunker removed his helmet and stood at attention as a minature projection of Grand General Benneck appeared above the Holo-Table on The IronHide's Bridge.

"Mission objectives are as follows:
Escort Transports to the Station,
Disable the Station's Illegal Defense Systems,
Capture this self proclaimed Pirate King,
Exterminate any lingering pests.

I want this done with text-book precision, Major. That means the Pirate King alive and the Flying Fortress intact, we don't need any of your art on this mission. These space scum may think themselves well trained, but you boys are better. Prove it."

The General's compliments always seemed to leave a bitter taste in Bunker's mouth. But the Commando had his orders and he would execute them to the letter. He looked out the Bridges viewport to see the first of the Transport Shuttles deploying from the Fleet. Brave men and women of the Iron Empire eager for glory filled them and Bunker would make sure every ship made it to their destination.

"Captain Charile, adjust our heading to defend those transports. We have one of the fastest Destroyers in the Empire, get us in range and focus our firepower on the Station's Hangar Defenses."

Bunker replaced his helmet and opened his private comlink to contact [member="RC-1047"].
"Captain Casper find me some docking space and Iron Company will be right behind you. Good luck my old friend."

As the ships began to appear from Hyperspace one smaller ship could be seen on the right most flank. Beyond fighters it was perhaps one of the smallest, possessing a sizable crew and sporting more than a few armaments. The vessel was a corvette, one of many in the machine known as the Iron Empire. At the helm of this moving gear stood a young, but determined, figure. In both hands he held a set of datapads, looking them over thoroughly as the helmsman brought the ship into formation. The scanning eyes paused for but a moment, peering out of the view port and towards the assembling fleet of pirates. "We are in position," he communicated to command, awaiting the order to begin advancing.

His task was simple, advance with the starfighters to engage the fleet and provide support to any transports that may get caught in the fighting, as well as providing additional reinforcements should they become necessary on the station. The officer had practiced similar exercises many times before, but never before had he been in combat. He was untested, untempered. Eager was the Ensign, eager to prove his worth and ability to the Iron Empire one battle at a time. Motioning to other officers upon the bridge he cleared his throat. "Angle deflectors forward, when we receive the signal we shall engage."

Placing the twin datapads upon a nearby console, the officer closed his eyes, tilting his neck to stretch out the various muscles. A sense of anxiety began to build in the man, first just a few bubbles upon a black abyss, but with each moment it grew more violent. He muttered to himself, though loud enough for the closest of the officers to hear,"Let us demonstrate that we may be a bit green, but we're more than capable of carrying out our orders."

Surrounded by a group of anxious Wolfsglaive, Aster sat in the shuttle dressed in the uniform of a field medic. Determined to contribute to the Iron Imperial efforts against the pirates, she had convinced her uncle to allow her to join the operation so that she might grow through this experience and not waste the skill of the Wolfsglaive.

A small group of talented men and women, the Wolfsglaive were made up of some of the best soldiers from the Iron Empire pulled from the army and tasked with her safety. Though Aster had greatly appreciated the service of these talent individuals, she sometimes wondered whether they would be of more use on the front-lines contributing to her decision of joining this operation.

"Stay in the back where it's safer. Should anyone need medical attention, do not go to them unless asked. We will bring the injured to you," a member of the Wolfsglaive advised her.

"Understood," Aster replied simply. Nervous about joining the front-lines, her heart raced as the shuttle sped through space and towards the pirate installation where she would join her fellow Iron Imperials.

"Good," he muttered as the Wolfsglaive collectively breathed a sigh of relief.

Snipers d ont do well indoors. Tight, enclosed spaces meant their bread and butter was useless. Such a specialized role was unfit for this sort of task, even when the sniper was able to adjust to other weaponry. So, such roles were to be left out for this mission.

Officers who happened to be snipers didn't get such luxury. Especially when people were questioning why such a young woman was such a high ranking officer. Such was the case of Caelag, huffing to herself inside the eyeless, almost monstrous mask of her helmet. Why was she always being questioned...

For this mission she left her beloved rifle behind, opting for the standard blaster of the Empire as well as her lightsaber, sword, and brace of knives. This would do fine. She listened as orders were given, opting to let everyone have their time to speak. She knew they could handle that much. Her forte would be taking command of her troops once they actually landed. If they landed.

One soldier seated next to the Colonel seemed shaken,
Especially seated near the calm woman. So she leaned in close and spoke softly. "Iron is our will and unshakable is our purpose. Stay close, we have naught to fear." That seemed to help.

The turbolasers outside did not.

Aboard the bridge of the Iron Vengeance, Grand Admiral Faer’hia’nuruodo, more commonly referred to as Rhianu, sat nestled within her large, imposing command chair. Before her shone a vast hologram, depicting the expansive star ocean-turned-battlefield. Her blood-red eyes gazed into its light, its blue-hue illuminated her pale face.

For the young woman, there was much to prove. A looming shadow to overcome. Her ascension had drawn the ire of many.
"She succeeded the Grand Admiral?" Her detractors questioned. She was only promoted to appease the Chiss!” Her denigrators accused.

However, their wicked tongues did but little to weaken her resolve. Rather, they stoked the flames of her determination. Vindication would come at the end of a sword. The total annihilation of her enemy. Anything less would be an abject failure.

The enemy whom stood before her was not a foreign one. Her military career was one forged in the fires of battle. Tempered by the blood of pirates, such as these. She had stalked their kind, she had hunted their kind, and she had killed their kind.
Her ferocity was such, that she had earned the moniker “The Pale Wolf”.

Awoken from its slumber, the mighty Iron Vengeance howled as its engines stirred. Enraged by the scent of its foul prey, the bloodthirsty beast bore its fangs. With Its destructive weapons brought to bear, and its sight set upon its prey, the pack moved in for the kill.

General Mech turned his attention away from the small Holo-table that showed a three dimensional view of the Battle in Thresh Space, and toward the West wall of his Office. To the untrained eye it was just a chaotic storm of flashing viewscreens that disappeared as fast as they appeared. Drew had spent a long time in this room, training his mind to read Battles as they happened. Live updates from various skirmishes and the names of those from the Iron ranks engaged stayed transparent long enough for the General to decide whether or not it needed his immediate attention. Everything seemed to be moving like a well-oiled walker, until an irregular flicker caught his eye.

The list of call signs from the Thresh engagement flashed red. Then immediately prioritized itself as a permanent screen when Aster and her Wolfsglaive were added as active duty. More screens joined the list, including a direct link to Grand Admiral [member="Faer'hia'nuruodo"], "It looks like our Crown Princess has decided to join the fight. Once boots hit the ground I can assign a discrete security detail. We don't want to present such a valuable target to the enemy. How fares your Iron Fleet Admiral Rhianu?" Drew asked the Leader of the Imperial Navy.

Taking a short breath to calm his nerves the Ensign gripped one of the datapads, sliding gloved fingers across the display as if to search for specific sets of information as he began to declare his orders. "It looks like it is about to begin. Advance. Quickly." He urged to the Helmsman, turning about to scan his modest crew. Most of them, like Ensign Thane, were fresh from the Naval Academy, possessing only the training that the academy could offer. This would change in a few short moments with the results of this battle, be it an explosive death or a wealth of experience.

Upon the bridge Thane began to pace, the ship started accelerating to me the pirates directly. "General Benneck," he began over the comms,"I will attempt to draw their fire while your men attempt to board the station. If reinforcements are deemed necessary this vessel can provide." He kept his communication quick and formal, as was required. Traditionally a man of his rank would be unable to contact anyone but his primary commanding officer, given the situation it was deemed necessary.

"Fire all batteries when we are in range, but keep the missiles in reserve," the young Ensign called over internal comms, formulating a minor set of countermeasures and tactics in his head, calculating very plausible possibilities once the battle truly begins. As they drew closer the young officer could not help but continue to walk back and forth nervously, eyes darting between datapad and viewport. Despite his apprehension he could not help but take a keen interest in the maneuvers and actions of the Grand Admiral. It had been somewhat of a surprise, though perhaps not unexpected, for the Chiss to be leading this sortie. Hopefully something can be learned from the woman, something that he might make use of.

Aster's heart raced as the shuttle departed for the pirate installation. Though she had taken part in a few battles, the fear she experienced before each conflict never decreased.

I will not allow anyone to die today, the teenager thought with a look of determination in her eyes. She had lost too many soldier already - all good people who tried to shield her from harm at the cost of their own lives.

"For today please ignore my status and treat me as if I was an ordinary medic. The Empire has done so much for me and it is time I pay my dues. Today I'm going to be the protector rather than the protected," Aster announced breaking the silence.

"But-" one of the Wolfsglaive began to protest before the teenager silenced him with the wave of her hand.

"Do it for my honour," Aster insisted. "Let me do something for the people I have sworn to protect."

"Fine," the Wolfsglaive finally said after thinking it over. Even if the entire unit disagree, the princess had made up her mind and was determined to do as she had planned. It was mush easier to just go along with it.

The shuttle barreled through the inky blackness of space. The pilot was taking the scenic route, that was for certain. Captain Pryce peered through the viewports and sighed as the Iron Empire's fleet became smaller and smaller wedges and the space station became a bigger and bigger mass of metal. There were murmurs from towards the back of the shuttle. Words like royalty and princess rolled off the tongues of the men and women in armor.

He cursed.

He didn't have time to babysit nobility. Not today.

The ship rumbled as it entered the small gravity well of the space station. And then he heard it. It was low at first, garbled speech distorted. His eyes widened behind his visor at the realization.

"Who turned that radio on?! Turn it off!" But it was too late. The heavy laser flak cannons of the space station turned to face the stealth transport and fired. Green starbursts of plasma rocked the ship and cast green light through the viewports as the pilot tried their best to fly through the anti-fighter defenses.

"Everyone! Helmets up! Hold on!" A blast shook the ship to its core as the flak cannons tore through the left side of the ship, ripping troopers who hadn't buckled up or held on to something right out of the shuttle and into the vacuum of space. It went spinning into the side of the station, tearing through durasteel and transparisteel. They had clipped the hangar, metal groaned as the entire ship was folded around the hangar doors. By some act of the Force the ship had made it into the environmental shield, but not before shuttle was torn to bits. Pryce was tossed around like a rag doll, he struggled to see what was going on but then...

Black.

The blaring alarms hurt her ears. Something was wrong.

Come to conduct business with the pirates on behalf of the organization. Amaryllis watched as pirates scuttled around the installation and prepared to defend against the intruders. As far as she was concerned, this was none of her business.

"The kark you doing just standing there girl?" one of the pirates yelled at her.

"This is none of my business. Mount your defenses. We can resume our business when it's over. I'm under no obligation to fight on your behalf - especially without compensation," she replied simply.

"We'll compensate you - just get ready!"

"My organization, not me," Amaryllis corrected the man. "And I'll need the full payment upfront."

"The entire amount?" The pirate frowned.

"I thought you were desperate? Pay or I leave and return once this is over."

"Fine," the pirate conceded. Removing a datapad from his coat, he typed in a number and showed it to Amaryllis. "Your fee."

Pressing the button to transfer the credits, Amaryllis smiled. "Thank you for your patronage. Now, where would you like me to go?"

To hell, ideally, the pirated wanted to say. "The hanger. We can not allow the intruders to enter."

"Understood."

"Who turned that radio on!? Turn it of!" A voice pierced the shuttle, RC-1047 gulped down a nervous chuckle, but soon it was too late the shuttle soon lurched around and RC-1047 bumped into many people, he was nearly thrown to the side of the shuttle, most people and or soliders were now on the ground from the shudder but RC-1047 wasn't.

His Magno-Grip Boots had clipped to the metal of the shuttle, "Magno-grip boots have been enabled" His Suit AI said and RC-1047 nodded, for a minute he thought the shuddering would stop but it got worse as it went on. The boot's held him firm in his place as everyone was being thrown about, RC-1047 was about to look around his shoulder once more before he just saw a pitch black.

The turbulent rocking and rolling of the shuttle forced Jordan to fall into the others around her clumsily. She managed to maintain her balance for the most part and then, chaos. The ship crash landed onto the station turning into a heaping mess of metal and fire. Jordie realized what was going on before it was too late, thankfully.

As soon as the shuttle made it into the hangar, Jordie leaped from the hole torn into the shuttle by the turbolaser bolts and rolled onto the hangar's cold metal ground. The impact of hitting the ground hurt a bit, but nothing Jordie couldn't withstand. Once she regained her composure, she rose to her feet and looked about for any of the pirates. She held her lightsaber hilt in her hand, prepared to activate the blade at a moment's notice. Jordie lifted her wrist communicator and activated it. "Can anyone hear me? This is Auxiliary Jordan Warren. My shuttle has crashed but we've made it onto the space station. I'm now in search of any more survivors of the crash."

Jordan deactivated her communicator and searched around the crash site for survivors.

Cradled by one of the Wolfsglaive, Aster slowly opened her eyes. Her shuttle had made it to the space station but not without casualties. Rendered unconscious from a a blow to the head when the shuttle crashed, Aster was unable to recall the cause of the crash. Everything had happened too quickly for her to follow.

"Are you alright?" she asked the Wolfsglaive as she sat up.

"I'm fine, what about you pri- Aster?"

"Same," the teenager replied and stood up. There were injured Iron Imperials that needed their wounds seen to.

"Gather the Wolfsglaive," Aster ordered the soldier. "Have a them gather here to defend the hanger. We can't let the pirates escape. Additonally, I'm going to set up a medic station in so here the wounded can be patched up and evacuated. If possible, I don't want to lose any more of our men."

"Understood," the Wolfsglaive replied.

Caelag was fortunate her shuttle was falling behind, the flak was tearing them apart. Her shuttle, however, was using the others as cover, essentially, and almost made it there without incident. Of course, they were struck with bolts, tearing their engines to shreds as they entered, but they at least had enough troops to continue. No way back out if things went wrong, however.

That worked fine. They wouldn't fail. Caelag was the first out the door, her leather boots making less sound than her metal clad comrades, but her steps held no less a sense of purpose as the Colonel began to issue her orders. There were wrecks from a few of the transports, to which she sent fireteams to investigate, while the majority of the forces she brought began to secure a dependable position within the hangar.

Once her troops were at work, Caelag opened her com to the IE operation frequency, and spoke as clearly as she could. "Colonel Vass to IE boarding parties, if you can hear this respond. I repeat, if you are able to hear me, respond."

Concerned with the well being of the unconscious man, she rushed to his side and began to examine him.

"Good, he's still alive," Aster muttered to herself then removed his helmet. "And still breathing too."

Relieved to know that the man was at least alive, the teenager smiled softly.

"Bring a stretcher and move him to safety. I'll keep an eye on him until he wakes up." Aster called to the medics.

Bunker ground his teeth behind his helmet. Standing on the Bridge simply watching the carnage take place had drained his composure. It took all his discipline to be the clear headed Commander the General told him to be, that his men needed him to be. 0883 tried to keep his eyes off the shared viewpoints in the corner of his HUD, and didn't fail to notice the ones that disappeared. The Iron Major stood at the front of the combined forces of Alpha and Iron Company. There were no speeches to be made, no final words of empowerment, only the feral desire to destroy those who threated his family. Captain Charlie's voice burst over the P.A, "Prepare for hard dock!" A moment later Bunker felt the entire ship make a drastic halt which threw most of the men. Not waiting for the loading ramp, Bunker smashed the button for the Emergency Bay Door. A long gap opened near the edge of the large room, like a portal to world of chaos. Bunker sprinted towards it followed closely by Cobra Squad. He leapt through the gap not caring about the fast ropes that hadn't deployed yet or the the unkown distance he was about to fall. He simply loaded his Grenade Launcher attachment and fired it into a group of pirates advancing from a side door in the Station's Hangar. A unique Turquoise explosion drew the attention of most the space scum and a few cheers from some of the Iron forces. "There is always a place for my Art, General Mech." Bunker said to himself as he landed hard on a fallen catwalk. His strike squad dropped in behind him and added their blaster fire to own. The IronHide's loading ramp loudly hissed open and the 81st Battalion joined the fray.

"This is Iron Major Bunker reporting in on all frequencies with Iron and Alpha Companys.

Colonel Vass, Alpha forces can meet at your location and break into hunting parties to start commandeering the Station. I will stay with Iron Company to clean up behind you until Captain Casper can be located."
