Vega's Bio

NAME: Vega, the Chaos Mage

FACTION: The One Sith

RANK: N/A

SPECIES: Humanoid

AGE: 86+

SEX: Female

HEIGHT: 5ft 7Inches

WEIGHT: 116 lbs

EYES: Vega's iris burn a tainted purple while her sclera posses a pure black appearance.

SKIN: Throughout what isn't obscured by her robes, Vega's skin appears a scorched dark purple.

FORCE SENSITIVE: Vega is fairly sensitive to the force, having practiced the fine art during her time in solitude.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :

One of Vega's vulnerabilities is her flesh, having been scorched on the attempt to take her life during the execution of 'Order 66'. As a result of the burns, her skin can sometimes grow frustratingly irritant, mostly when surrounded by intense heat such as planets with an environment like Mustafar. Vega attempts to avoid this frustration through wearing obscure attire when in such places, though some tasks and situations require less layers.

Vega also suffers from some form of radiating poisoning which instigated upon her being thrown into a crater of waste (see history for more). From there, Vega has to inject herself with cloned antibodies every two weeks in order to counteract the radiation. Missing a dosage has already given her a scar on her back, seeing as scorched flesh apparently wasn't enough of a burden. Should she miss a dosage, Vega develops unfortunate symptoms such as bleeding of the eyes and spontaneous chills. So long as she keeps her dosage amounts synchronized, Vega can maneuver about normally as if nothing was wrong.

STRENGTHS/SKILLS

SKILLS:

Significant understanding in technological sciences: This was a skill Vega possessed in her time serving under the Jedi order. Through her knowledge in this field, Vega has skills necessary to exercise technological experiments and modifications, as well as crafting technology to benefit her technological desires.

Knowledge of the Force: Seeing as she once was once a fully-trained Jedi, it is safe to say Vega has an understanding and ability to tamper with the force, as well as influence it like most force users. However, her understanding on the dark side has yet to be fully mastered, though she does have enough knowledge in this particular field of the force in order the manifest the source of electrical discharge (lightning force). Like most other children of the force, Vega can influence it to move physical objects with her mind, as well as sense nearby individuals that possess a strong sense of force inside. The stronger their force, the easier it is for her to find them.

Mental enslavement: This particular ability is one she has yet to fully master, considering she is currently without a master to help her study the art. She does, however, possess the ability to enslave and manipulate far lesser minds, such as planet-bound animals that aren't too great in size. She CANNOT manipulate people, artificial intelligence, or knowledgeable force users.

STRENGTHS:

Skilled swordsman (or woman): Instigating from her life as a former Jedi, Vega has time after time exercised her skills with a lightsaber, making her an exceptionally skilled swordsman. Through both experiences and solitary training have her skills developed, and continue to do so throughout every experience which involves this field of skill.

Skilled hand-to-hand combat: Should anything go wrong, Vega has her skills in hand-to-hand combat to benefit her in conflicts. Like her skills with a lightsaber, this too develops through experience and training,.

EQUIPMENT:

-Lightsaber: Like the majority of Jedi and Sith, Vega possesses a lightsaber, burning a luminous dark purple blade from a black, metallic hilt. Vega has yet to make any upgrades to this 'saber of hers, but intends to do so in the future. The weapon upon release of the purple stream of the blade stretches four feet in length, while the hilt is a mere foot long.

-Modified battle droid rifle: Upon discovering the pre-era technology found among the remnants of the technological facility - the Vault, Vega took it upon herself to claim herself a battle droid rifle, modifying it with an infrared scope to give it a greater beneficiary use for the Sith.

Radioactive Smoke Canisters: These canisters are simply smoke grenades accompanied with a radioactive essence inside that seeps upon detonation. The radiation is converted from space and into her ship where it is deposited inside the canisters. Vega mostly carries four of these in her inventory at at time, and mostly retrieves this radiation from cosmic dust and clouds.

-Internal respiratory technology: As a result to the former attempt to take her life, Vega's lungs were incapacitated to the point they begun to shut down. With little time she had left, she threw herself in 'stasis, but not before activating the medical necessity machinery to tend to her wounds as she slept. Once a diagnosis of her failing respiratory system had been finalized, Vega's lungs were modified to not solely rely on the inhalation of oxygen. Should Vega be within an environment which doesn't consist of oxygen, the lungs possess a back-up supply of which Vega has to exhale into a specific respirator to avoid it being depleted. Instead of it being exhaled through the respiratory filters and converted into carbon dioxide, the oxygen travels through one filter, converts into the carbon dioxide before being reverted back to oxygen through a second for Vega to inhale. In other words, it recycles the oxygen to save Vega from depletion. The only problem with this, however, is once taken off, Vega cannot use it until she has changed the filters due to bacterial contamination she could risk breathing in. As a result to this downside, Vega only uses it if absolutely desperate and the situation deems necessary. Other than that, Vega's lungs function like any other humanoid, depending on oxygen and at risk of danger if exposed to anything such as carbon dioxide or 'monoxide contamination. Once the respirator has been placed safely and tightly around her mouth, Vega is capable of maneuvering through space without oxygen depletion. Not a necessity of hers, but it benefits her if she has to crawl around the outside of crafts.

APPEARANCE: Vega possesses the physique of a young humanoid female in her mid twenties. Unfortunately, she doesn't carry the features of one. What isn't cloaked by her robes, it is noted Vega's skin is scorched and damaged to the point it has rendered to a state of dark purple. Her iris are also purple and appear dehydrated if one was to approach so close to recognize. Other than that they appear purple for her iris, and pure black for her sclera.

HISTORY: Before the events on Coruscant which resulted in the annihilation of the majority of Jedi, Vega herself served as one, serving as a young scout who journeyed throughout the galaxy, hunting for Sith activity that posed a threat to the Jedi and the Republic. Most of her missions soon transcended to being that of a bounty hunter once enough intelligence on Sith activity was considered 'solid evidence' by the Jedi council. Other missions assigned to her consisted of contributing herself in the feud against the Droid army with the Republican clones. During those missions, four clone troopers were assigned to assist her, one of which commanded the other three clones under her who merely went by the name 'Commander'. These assigned clones only served under Vega during her missions which involved fighting against the Droid army. Other than that, they were stationed in Coruscant. However, all this only occurred up until 'Order 66' was placed. During the betrayal against the Jedi, Vega was without any communication systems, having left them on board her ship during a moon exploration with her assigned clones, believing they'd inform her on anything transmitted she needed to here. They never. Right up until the commander received Order 66, they followed behind Vega and her orders while awaiting the arrival of a clone ship assigned to tail them, should anything go wrong when the time come to execute her.

Once the second ship arrived within the abandoned research facility Vega and her squad of clones were exploring, the commander ordered his men to turn on Vega while she was fiddling around with an old terminal to hack into the remnants of the database. They fired at her, succeeding in a couple of shots, but from there she acted far too quicker than they anticipated. She motioned an old droid part -using her mastery of the force - to shatter a window, causing two of the troopers to be thrown out onto the surface of the moon before the emergency backup window activated, leaving only the Commander and one last trooper in the room. Without hesitation considering they continued to fire upon her, she retaliated and drew her lightsaber, slashing down the third clone trooper before forcing the gun from the Commander's hand where she blasted him in the face. The second horde of clones were closing in, but Vega tracked their movements on the terminal, sealing them within a room they attempted to go through to reach her, giving her time to flee to the hangar bay.

Vega stumbled to the spacious hangar, unbeknown that the Commander was still alive, having only his helmet partially broken by the shot fired by her. As she attempted to climb on board the ship he shot her in back with the same gun she used on him and dropped beside his supposed corpse. She stumbled to her feet before facing him, where he dropped his gun, took off his mask, and drew his own unexpected lightsaber. According to what he then said, and by the look of his facial features, he was part droid, and trained by a Sith to be trained in the Jedi arts, but not the force. He then went on to say he was assigned to assassinate her upon order. A wounded Vega drew her 'saber once again and challenged him, struggling to slay the surprisingly skilled Commander. She eventually came to hack off his arm, but unbeknown to her he released the other clones who soon arrived and ambushed her. Upon seeing them she immediately attacked, and kill three of them, while the commander stumbled to his feet, his rifle back in hand. He fired at her let while she was engaged in dealing with the remainder of troopers, causing her to fall on one leg where a clone then backed his gun into her face, knocking her unconscious. They carried her to unconscious physique to a crater the facility was built around, and once used as a dumping ground. The Commander ignited her in flames, deciding to give it a minute to kick him and scorch her before shoving her into the crater with a kick, where she plashed down in a pool of age-old water with her lightsaber. After that the clones and Commander left, rigging the facility to blow in a linear hour. Unbeknown to them, Vega was still very much alive, and now half conscious thanks to the sensation of being slashed.

Vega crawled out of the crater with what little strength she had left and shut down the self-destruct sequence before it could instigate. After that she climbed into her ship and attempted to get onto the frequency the Jedi council used. But nothing. Nothing but the sound of static met with her ears. She had to hack into the council mainframe, and being skilled in the technological side of science, she proceeded to hear the message General Kenobi broadcasted. But there was one thing she didn't like; one thing that led her to forever despite the Jedi. The signal wasn't inscribed to reach her craft, leading Vega to believe they had no desire to save her. That she was a lost cause of some kind. For that, she self-proclaimed herself a Sith, with little knowledge on its more sinister side of the force. She decided she'd learn its power in time, but first she had to preserve herself. She was dying, and scorched by the flames which would forever scar her flesh.

Vega hooked her ship's terminal up to the facility where she disengaged the mainframe power, leaving only the back-up generators running which she converted to the cryostasis system in her ship, giving it enough power to run for about five decades. However, she only placed herself in cryostasis for two of those decades, allowing the medical system installed in to tend to her wounds. It only needed about a few hours to do that, but after that she remained asleep, sealed within cryostasis where she laid dormant for the next two decades. What Vega awoke to was a galaxy she never expected to fall in such a state; it was a new era, filled with endless possibilities for those brave enough to seek them. After Vega came out of her dormant state of 'stasis, she rearranged the mainframes to reboot the facility to full power, where she then followed on to finding out what had happened over the last two decades while her still scorched self slept. According to the databases of nearby systems she hijacked through their frequencies, there was a galactic war going on between a handful of factions. Vega intended to return to civilization, master the darker side of the force, and also find out what was going on. But first, she reorganised the facility how she desired it to be; her home, and a technological facility rearranged just how she liked it. This didn't come without now and again returning to civilisation to gain materials to rebuild this new home, where she also gained knowledge of the ongoing war. She voted for anything other than Jedi, but preferably hoped Sith would after come. But after months of work, her facility came to be how she pictured. Once that was done and out of the way, she devoted most of her time to practising the dark arts of the force. There was plenty more to be learned, but she mastered the basics of it, along with constructing a new lightsaber which burned a luminous purple blade from the handle. She'd need it for the galaxy out there. The galaxy full of endless possibilities.

-Historical Events: Sometime during the Separatist war when serving under the Jedi order and Republic, Vega stumbled across the planet of Dathomir where she encountered the mysterious Nightsisters. Sensing their dark arts of the force, she threatened them with violence; however, the witches refused to engage her, claiming they 'no longer' shared any ties with the Sith, suspecting that was what brought Vega to them in the first place. Unbeknown to her about this union they severed with the Sith, she soon came to discover that they in fact worked alongside them - and antagonist at the time - Count Dooku. Vega fell tempted to report this finding to the Jedi council, but became indecisive after curiosity for their ways entered her mind. To be honest, she found their ways quite admirable. The witches were quick to overwhelm her upon sensing Vega's doubt. Unfamiliar with the ways of Dathomir magick, she fell easy prey and become enslaved by the witches until they could decide what do with her. Vega remained imprisoned for quite some time before one of the witches approached her, presenting an offer that could benefit them both. The witch was quick to acknowledge Vega's lust for knowledge in Dathomir magick, abusing this knowledge to lure her into their teachings. In exchange for her freedom and silence on the matter, the witch offered to teach Vega in the Nightsister teachings so long as she never left the planet and remained loyal to them. Vega fell seduced by the offer; instigation of the training begun merely hours after her release.

Several months passed without Vega ever contacting the Republic and Jedi council, ignoring their messages and letting them get on with their war while she focused on her training. As a result of her patience, Vega came to master several skills through the Nightsister teachings of Dathomir magick, gradually gaining their trust as the months proceeded to go on. They eventually came to accept her after witnessing her skills through their teachings, even going as far as honouring her a high rank in their sisterhood once they were positive her loyalty towards them was sincere. Vega chose to prolong her stay for almost a year, teaching others the art of Dathomir magick until she received an unfortunate message in her ship. Apparently the Republic tracked her location and were en route, believing she was being held captive after several attempts to contact and find her had failed. In addition, Vega decided it was best to leave and lead the Republic away from Dathomir. She united with her former squad of clone troopers in the Unknown Region instead, and proceeded to go forward with a mission ordered by the Jedi council. Unfortunately, that was where her ties with the Nightsisters had been severed. Order 66 had instigated during her mission, resulting in her going into cryo' while the Nightsisters fell upon their own troubles. Once Vega awoke from her frozen sleep, she came to discover there was next to nothing left of the witches, only rumours of their once existence flowing throughout the galaxy. Vega resulted in joining the Sith from there, seeing as she already self-proclaimed herself as one due to the incidents before her sleep. Nevertheless, Vega still hunts for the remnants of her sisters, trying to hunt any possible leads on their whereabouts.

BIOGRAPHY: Vega is a self proclaimed Sith who studies the dark arts of the force and knowledge in science. Her likeness for science has always been something she considered a priority to master first, seeing as most of the galaxy fall dependent on the technological side of it. Through doing so she has long crafted her own lightsaber, burning a dark and beautiful purple from the weapons' saber, along with plenty technological adjustments to her age-old ship. Besides tending to her ship, Vega uses her knowledge in science to avoid being too dependent on her species' necessities, creating fluids and bonding chemicals that possess her bodies' needed vitamins. Such creations benefit her in avoiding being too civilized or recognized by others.

Vega believes in the enslavement of all living things possible, believing they should not go wasted when they can be enslaved under her influence. Such enslavement she tends to use on planet-bound animals when taking up the work of a bounty hunter, using them as bait or distraction so she can attack her foe.

SHIP: Vega flies a modified HMP Predator used by the Separatist droid forces during the Clone Wars. She refers to her ship as 'The Descent', although she barely interacts enough for people to hear it. Through science, she managed to manufacture engines that run of particles throughout the universe such as hydrogen and solar radiation fueled from suns. Another means of interstellar travel technology she designed requires the gravitational pull of nearby celestial objects by making her ship sensitive enough to their gravitational force. This allows her to avoid depending on fuel, which she only tends to use when performing interstellar quadrant jumps.

Her ship is also armed with weapons that harness solar radiation converted from space, left by dying stars and those on the point of singularity. To catch foe beneath, her ship has a magnetic force system on the belly of the ship for abduction uses.

RECENT ACTIVITY:

-After continuous failure, Vega has made a breakthrough with her technological skills, creating a synthetic intelligence after the last 68 attempts rendered useless. As a result, she decided to input the name 'Project 69' ([member="Project 69"]) into the Synths' database, but chose to give her the name 'Vera' as it was more simpler to perform in tongue. (Please note: This is not an extension or character I roleplay. [member="Project 69"] are their own roleplayer who had interest in playing a synthetic intelligence designed by Vega for roleplay purposes.

-Vega recently embarked on a heist with a fellow companion, seizing several crates of Cortosis, weighing in each at 400lb. After leaving the mine, they split the loot, Vega taking seven crates of the material as her share. (Link: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/73511-claiming-cortosis/#entry1095023

I see you've tried to join Clan Rekali. While on an OOC level I'm glad to see interest in the Clan, and glad you're settling in, your character's the kind of person that the Clan would shank on sight, so I can't approve your membership request. Sorry.

[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"] - Well, your char is your char to adjust as you wish, but this is reeeally Sithy, and Sith have killed a lot of Rekalis. Alternately, go find some Nightsisters and have fun.

Hah yeah I'm aware of their feud. I was more hoping that her relations would coincide with her past, to be honest. More on the lines of her being involved with them before she decided to go Sith. But thanks anyway, I'll see what I can find elsewhere c:

[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"] - oh, if you want to be a distant cousin or something who left a long time ago, that's totally fine with me. Just expect to be on the faction IC blacklist or whatever.

I would appreciate that; I originally wanted her to be with witch relations (hence the 'Chaos Mage' name) but couldn't find anywhere to fit her in at the time of the making so I resided with the Sith. Would you mind that, though?
