Valiance is the name bestowed upon the unique, Alchemy-wrought sword owned by Noah Corek.
Crafted at the hands of Isley Verd, a master Alchemist, Valiance possesses the standard palette of abilities achieved through Sith Alchemy. The process by which Valiance was created began through the selection of a base material. Typically speaking, products created through Sith Alchemy are incredibly heavy compared to their base form. This is due to the addition of weight being a "side effect" of the alchemical process. As a result, Sith Swords usually require a large sum of strength to wield. However, Isley circumvented this particular shortcoming through selecting Agrinium as the base metal. While this did not result in a completely lightweight weapon, it did ensure that Valiance could be effectively wielded by an individual of average strength.
Having selected a base material, the next step in the alchemical process revolved around making molecular adjustments to the metal. These adjustments are responsible for the aforementioned addition of weight and resulted in the weapon's complete imperviousness to lightsabers. Next, the magnetic polarity of the weapon was reversed; thereby affording Valiance the ability to deflect and reflect both blaster bolts and lasers. Finally, due to the nature of the weapon's creation, Force-based electricity reacts to its presence in a unique manner. Much akin to a lightning rod, said electricity is attracted and absorbed into the length of the blade. There it is stored until such time as the weapon makes physical contact with another object. Through this, the potential to deal grievous electrical damage to an opponent is present.
It is to be noted that, unlike masterwork products, Valiance was created with the more "darker" portions of the process omitted. Through this, the weapon lacks the pronounced, Dark Side taint prevalent in exceptional products. As such, it is more than suitable armament to accompany Noah Corek into battle.
