Strengths:
  • Resilient Defender: When Valessia's friends go down, she fights harder and is able to improvise weapons when she has none and fight hand to hand.
  • Canter: Time with the Rufigioni's and working the streets and back alley's of Cormond and so the unusual speech patterns, and turn of phrase don't faze her.
  • Fencer: Growing up in the upper echelons of Brentaal IV's society she was taught fencing just the same as others, allowing her to take advantage of attacks of opportunities while wielding daggers, swords and other bladed weapons.

Weaknesses:
  • Heavy Armour: Valessia is unable to carry any heavy armours and most medium armours, she'll be fatigued and will have little energy to do anything else.
  • Attached: There aren't many people that Valessia is attached to, however; the few people that she is attached to can be used against her.
  • Heavy Weapons: The noble is able to handle carbines and pistols, but weapons heavier than this she is unable to wield.
  • Headstrong: It takes a lot for Valessia to control her stubbornness and pride, but when arguments are made against the First Order she feels compelled to correct them, she is otherwise shaken for at least being an hour.
Talents:
  • Arrogant Bluster: Some may consider Valessia arrogant as she takes on an air of arrogance, giving her the ability to sway or distract those she chooses. Her education and wealth reinforce her personality, as someone who was not only born into power but also someone who has been on the other side of the poverty line. Someone who understands working for their dinner or starving for the night.
  • Coordinated Leadership: Working for the Rufigioni taught Valessia the power of a line of sight, she's able to provide her allies with an improved accuracy by utilising her own line of sight. Furthermore, she learned the value of strength in numbers and how much more effective attacking in groups were as opposed to alone. Valessia has an ability to gather those around her to work together toward a common goal or objective.
  • Inspire Confidence: Low morale can be a dangerous thing and this was certainly something she saw during the Ssi-Ruuvi siege of Dosuun. Valessia learned to inspire confidence, boosting the morale of those around her. Her zeal for the First Order is contagious to citizens and adds fervour to those of the same beliefs. She lends her line of sight in addition to morale bonuses when trying to rally her allies.
Traits:
  • Galactic Traveler: Valessia's extreme love for all things Imperial has taken her all over the galaxy, she's seen more than a dozen cultures and has come to appreciate the diversity that it has to offer. She typically has general knowledge of local lore and is good with sensing the motives of others.
  • Dirty Fighter: Time with the Rufigioni's and running with them taught Valessia that there is no such thing as a fair fight. She could always count on Articio or Oriana to distract someone just long enough for her to do a little more damage than normal; these days - she relies on her guards for such things.
  • Zealous: Ruled by her emotions, Valessia is quite fanatical about her beliefs and can be quite headstrong in her arguments for them. However; she finds it hard to deal with others who do not believe as she does and will typically excuse herself from the area.
Skills:
  • Linguistics: Valessia has a knack for learning new languages and it takes her half the time to learn them as opposed to the average human. While she may not be able to speak every language she comes across, she can certainly understand most forms.
  • Intimidate: Her arrogant bluster is well earned, and she can come off quite intimidating. Valessia is well aware of this and uses this when she has to in order to get the information she needs or to force an opponent into doing what she needs them to do.
  • Charm: The lady can be quite charming, she knows her way around words disarming those with her words changing how others view her, typically in a more friendly, desirable manner.
  • Decipher: Languages can come in a variety of forms, codes, archaic tongues and broken tablets can make it difficult to understand anything. Valessia is able to decode and decipher messages and codes quicker than most.
  • Diplomacy: Whether it's to get others to agree with her argument, resolve differences or to gather valuable information or rumours. The lady has the proper etiquette and manners suitable to any situation, social, corporate, academic, criminal or other wise.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born the younger of two children to Aruhl and Carmina Brentioch, Valessia grew up knowing she was her mother's meal ticket. In the event that Aruhl passed, Carmina could cash Valessia in with the patriarch of House Kallea. The aging patriarch of Kallea often treated Valessia better than her own family. Aruhl a man better than most would give him credit for looked the other way and raised Val as his own. Little did they know that Carmina's family hailed from an ancient Banite Sith Lord. This dark bloodline would give way to a force sensitive Valessia Brentioch. Yearning to do something about her abilities, they headed to Dromund Kaas.

There in the ancient Kaas City, Mr. and Mrs. Brentioch sought to find or buy a way to bind Valessia's gifts. While they were speaking with those knowledgeable in these ways. Valessia and a childhood friend who had come along for the trip escaped the older of the Brentioch sibling's attention. Vinor'stahl, or Vinny as he was often called knew not where his sister and her friend had gotten off to. At least not until he ventured deep enough into the jungles surrounding Kaas City to hear the blood-curdling screams from an ancient tomb. It turned out that this childhood friend had died in the tomb, while Valessia had remained unharmed. Her dark bloodline put her in touch with the Force Ghost of an ancestor.

After this incident, Valessia was taken to have her memories hidden. A charm bracelet was crafted to keep her force aura bound. She would grow up with no knowledge of the events, instead, she would have a strange obsession with the old Galactic and Sith Empires. Even as she attended the Cormond Academy of Commerce, as she hit the streets with the Rufigioni family the obsession stayed with her.

The Rufigioni family, a branch of House Curovao the largest and perhaps most powerful family on all of Brentaal IV. House Curovao holds a wide array of interests throughout the credit obsessed planet. The Rufigioni help run the custom houses, duties and general distribution both on the regular markets and the black markets. Valessia befriended one of the young men of the Rufigioni family, Articio Jonaé Rufigioni to be exact. Articio was Val's door into the Brentaalan Underworld where she learned how to fight, charm, steal and seduce her way to what she wanted, to what she needed.

Unfortunately, her position between House Brentioch and House Kallea often called her away and so she appointed Oriana. A relative of Art's to manage her underworld assets while she was away. Val's father having his eyes set on his son to inherit the estate. Dispatched a servant to keep an eye on Val, a servant by the name of Edra. Edra was a Zabrak, and one that had ties to not only the underworld of Brentaal but the underworld of the galaxy. It was through Edra that Valessia met her first husband, Dielan a Dathomirian man who was young, scrappy and hungry for power.

Dielan and Valessia fell in love quickly. Both would say it was love at first sight and their physical attraction could not be denied. He was the man her parents didn't want her to marry, she needed to marry to better her station. Valessia did not care what her parents wanted. Between Dielan and her affairs with the daughter of House Dajaal, she was not satisfied, could not be satisfied. She wanted more power, more control and more wealth and as her brother continued to fall victim to his own addictions. She decided to take advantage; moving into position to help her father's company proving to him that in spite of her public drama she could handle the board room.

Valessia handled the men of the board room with ease, almost too much ease. Aruhl was concerned but thought nothing of it at the time, and as Vinor continued to spiral. Valessia continued to rise and she dispatched Edra to fetch for her a prototype X-70B often given to the Cipher Agents of the old Sith Empire. While Edra was out searching for the ship, Val continued to move up within her father's company. The only concerns Aruhl had aside from just how easily his daughter was handling the business was where she went when she wasn't at the Estate or her Penthouse. What the man did not know was that his daughter had the family lawyer in her pocket. A family lawyer that would come in handy sooner rather than later.

While both Dielan and Valessia would say they were both at fault for their marriage's troubles. The truth was they grew apart, and Valessia's promiscuous behavior did her little favors. Most especially when she ended up pregnant just after the divorce. What the noble did not know then was that she carried the daughter of Siobhan Kerrigan. Had she known then what she would come to know later, her choices may have been different. In the end, she gave her daughter up for adoption and with both Edra and the lawyer's help kept the child's birth hidden from the media.

Soon after the event, Valessia's affair with the daughter of House Dajaal went public. It was assumed the two would become business partners (marry) and join their family assets. In fact, Carmina was overjoyed as it would more than secure the sinking house's political position on the upper trade floor in the hall. Unfortunately, the affair ended quite drastically, as Valessia entertained First Order representatives, her beloved - a staunch Republic/Alliance supporter threatened to out the Imperial to their society which has often supported the Republic/Alliance (as of late anyway). The relationship broke apart and ended with property and other assets being ceded to House Brentioch.

After this Val entertained the idea of joining the One Sith, however; the aging nation fell to the hands of the Galactic Alliance. Leaving the noble with little choice but to seek out a more permanent arrangement with the First Order.

RECENT HISTORY:
Valessia's second husband, [member="Gunther Creed"] a former General of the now collapsed Commonwealth Nation, and One Sith. Met during a banquet held to honor both Commonwealth and First Order military shortly after the Battle of Castameer or colloquially known as the Omega War. It was a brief meeting but it proved fruitful nonetheless as the two ran into each other on Cormond. The Scion of House Brentioch had returned to tend to both her family's estate and her underworld assets. Gunther was there for more personal reasons than business, but the two had a date or three while there and decided to pursue the relationship.

Meanwhile, Valessia the one-time trade representative had been offered the job of ambassador. The offer came from none other than the Moff Natasi Fortan. Natasi would later go on to become the Grand Moff of the First Order; head of the government. This would lead Valessia to meet many leaders both foreign and domestic including, [member="Darth Prazutis"], or rather God-Prince Braxus Zambrano of the Pacanth Reach, a vassal state of the First Order. Prazutis felt Valessia's aura even with her little charm and as soon as the noble learned just who the Prince was. She sought him out to be her master, to train her in the ways of the Sith. This led her to Thule where for six months she was tortured and broken down to embrace her dark side. After the six months were over, she was sent back home - however; an Ambassador being gone without any say for six months threw up more than a few red flags.

Worse; Natasi and Valessia had grown close and considered each other friends. Feeling more than betrayed when Valessia confessed to what had occurred. Natasi stripped Valessia of any and all credentials when this was done the noble would be placed on house arrest for some time. Eventually, she was allowed to leave her home but would be under strict supervision. And during this time, Valessia and Gunther were engaged, then made plans to start a family together.

Grand Moff [member="Natasi Fortan"], a friend and confidant of Valessia's. The two met shortly after Valessia aided the First Order by bringing Ryoone into the fold. It was here that Natasi originally offered Val the job of trade representative, and with that, the Scion of House Brentioch flourished going above and beyond her duties to ensure that the First Order would have all that it needed. She even leaned on House Curovao to aide in distribution, most specifically to Ryoone the planet that was the key to the brunette's entrance into the First Order's diplomatic corps. Val would also use her leans from Brentaal IV to aide in the initial construction and funding of the First Order Fleet. This is what would earn her the place of Ambassador of the First Order.

As Valessia made Dosuun her home, with a small place in Prosperia. She would find that she would suffer just as much as the rest would when the planet was besieged by the Ssi-Ruuvi. The noble turned to her old underworld skills as a way to survive and to help Natasi by bringing the Grand Moff's two young cousins to a secure location. Later earning herself her own estate just outside of Avalonia.

The Pemberley Estate where Valessia would not only be placed on house arrest, but it would be the house in which she would give birth to her second child. Her son, Gunther Sival Creed was born a few months after his parents were married in a small private countryside wedding right there on Dosuun. The estate would also enable Valessia to carry the title of Baroness. After the birth of her son, Baroness Valessia Creed would be called back to duty, credentials reinstated as an ambassador. Although her time as a reinstated ambassador would be short-lived, as she would then be promoted to the office of Foreign Minister. Ultimately though, Valessia was ill-suited for the job - in truth, she used the position of power to leverage contracts on behalf of several criminal benefactors.

The family spent time between the Reach and Brentaal IV, there Valessia continued to work as a member of the Upper House. By then she was able to prove that her husband Gunther Sr, was a trustworthy advocate and staunch 'partner.' Brentaal IV having viewed marriages as business contracts and partnerships, had the Creeds formally register themselves as such in order for Valessia to be eligible for a seat within the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors oversee much of the legislation throughout Brentaal IV however the final say still rests with the President and his two Vice-Presidents, as it would be with any company.
