Upcoming Raid On Our Property

Recently [member="HK-36"] signed over Abregado-Rae Guild of Hammers to Firemane as our subsidiary.


Apparently a Sith Knight called Darth Morgoth (he's Red Ravens/OS) wants to carry out a raid on an AR warehouse with a couple friends.


'Within the next week I and a small band of my associates will be launching a raid on a warehouse owned by your company (The one HKH signed ov er to you) in hopes of aqquiring some products. If you would like to plan this out, and set rules of engagement then I would love to ablige.'


Needless to say we don't take kindly to people trying to our property. Or Sithies trespassing in general. It appears they're after the Echani Graphite, though they'll try to get some other tools on the way. So they'll be hitting Abregado-Rae. That planet is...very heavily defended.


So what we have to do is pretty simple: Shoot them all. Do jump in and shoot them with extreme prejudice when it's up. I am no mood to muck around.

They're after our Graphite, which is still produced only on Abregado as far as I know (we had a Frozen themed scene there about it and everything), so we know their target, heavily defended world patrolled by armored soldiers and sleepless droid secret police at all times.


As far as the raids go, this will not be easy pickings for the Sith, and I hope they understand that, we have the higher ground but we should treat it as if we were matched here. We don't know what they have up their sleeves, in fact we may just be matched. But even if they will fall short, this should be a perfect occasion to show others that it is a rather bad idea to launch a raid against us, and prepare for any future raids that may come.

Well, we have not heard anything further from our wannabe raiders. The RR forum thread about the raid has had no new posts since the 12th.



[member="Tegaea Alcori"] pmed the Sith and said if he still wants to go ahead they'll have to wait until the new year since our titian-maned over-mistress is on LOA(meaning I can finally assume direct control!). So I guess we can dismiss them for now. However, presumably at some point an attempt will be made, by someone we can actually take seriously.


Might be worth considering to create a Codex sub outlining all of Abregado-Rae's defences so that people know what's what.


In the meantime, we have two faction threads. The epic quest to save Coryth (which has been retroactively declared a faction thread...and has almost 300 posts!) and the Return of the Damned.
