Out Of Character Information:
  • Intent: Provide a cheap and easy to use medical kit for anyone without medic knowledge to use
  • Development Thread: None
Production Information:
Strengths & Weaknesses:
  • Strengths:
Easy Access & Use - The Trauma Kit is a basic Medics Kit to help with trauma victims and injured soldiers in the middle of combat. Everything is quick and easy to access, though only providing standard health items without the need for prior medical knowledge
  • Weaknesses:
Minimal Assistance - The Trauma Kit only has items to help against, but not cure, affection and diseases, and helps to heal small and medium wounds. It doesn't help in most ways for larger wounds like slugs in the body, loss of limbs, or otherwise
Description:

The Trauma Kits design was to be compact and a new Medics 'on the go' package for most healing necessities. Unfortunately, with it only really serving the standard individual (anyone can quickly learn to pick it up and use it) it doesn't help much in the way of real doctors and surgeons, possibly even nurses. It provides basic pain and wound treatment, but leaves severely injured people at a loss. The larger Trauma Packages will be something like portable hospital rooms, but less common than the Trauma Kit backpack, as they are heavier and require trained operatives to use them. It also had a breathing mask for either the medic or the patient to give either of them oxygen. The unit holding medicine, patches and the spray can be detached from the oxygen unit, allowing a medic to leave the oxygen unit with an injured person and continue to carry the medicine unit around to other areas. For the most part, the Trauma Kit is designed to help any injured individuals with severe wounds and can not be immediately treated, to pass on without pain.
