Training, Training, Training!

Mira sat alone on her bunk and stared at the ancient documents before her - she had finished studying the diary and text that Master Skywalker had left behind, she was ready to start her journey to discovering where his holocron might be and even the Lightsaber that once belonged to him and was now lost. The Holocron itself, she'd turn over to Master Windspeaker after she showed her mother - that would be such a delightful thing to showcase it to her...but would she be mad?

She leaned back and gasped lightly in thought, the endless lectures she'd get from the elder Gyndar woman. She then furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head. 'Nah, she wouldn't.' She mused to herself as she wrapped the documents back up and scooped up the datapad and tossed them back into the locker that was partially out from below her bunk. She had done so much training lately - and now it was time to do more.

But what?

She looked down at the Jedi Library Card infront of her and bit the bottom of her lip. She had studied what she could from the Holocrons, what else was there to do? More training. Practice makes perfect they say, and it never hurt...well that's not true, it can hurt. There wouldn't be any [member="Liam Quez"] distractions, or even [member="Aton Gyndar"]. Just herself and the Force, oh and her Lightsaber.

She'd remove herself from the confines of her bunk with a heavy sigh and grab her satchel and her saber from her desk. It was time to get some more training in, and with various Academy sessions going on in the lecture rooms - the physical training areas were likely to be void of lifeforms. She'd quietly walk out of her dorm, shut the door and lock it behind her before making her way down the halls of the Jedi Praxeum. It was nice being here at times, it felt comforting to know that you weren't the only glow stick wielding wizard in the Universe - then there were times where she felt maybe if she was just normal, she wouldn't have to endure such high expectations.

Like controlling her emotions.

Emotions, as a teenager, were becoming more difficult to understand and cope with. The more she was around [member="Liam Quez"], the weirder things felt. The turbolift doors opened before her, allowing her entrance as she pondered about Liam and emotions. It wasn't like they were weird in a bad way, it was just a mix of emotions and adrenaline rushes that she couldn't explain - and she dared not mention them to her parents. She pressed the button for the Temple Hangar level, her hand adjusting the satchel over her shoulder to a more comfortable position as her garnet eyes shifted around the silent lift. The buzzing noise was enough of a distraction to allow herself to get lost in thought - but only for a moment.

'How does he feel?' She looked up at the numbers as the lift came to a halt at the Hanger level and dinged open, the doors hissing open softly to allow her to exit. 'Sometimes, he confuses me.' Liam could be confusing but was that because of his nature or his inability to understand the same way she did. Her visions no longer plagued her, for now. Maybe, because she had calmed herself and no longer let her emotions cloud her judgement and understanding. She'd exit the Hanger quickly, avoiding training vessels taking off and speeders coming in for repair and maintenance.

She was headed to the training grounds - the same ones her mother had taken her through a few weeks prior.

Mira would approach the stone entrance, her right hand rising from her body as she reached out through the Force and concentrated on the runes and various intricate designs on the face of the door. She'd shift them through the Force, watching each design match up perfectly through the spectral like planes of the Force. Their signatures would weaken and eventually dissipate as each symbol was unlocked and soon the door would open with a loud grinding noise. It was almost as if it resisted against her, not desiring her to conquer the training course again - but alas she wasn't here to just dodge bolts, there was more lightsaber practice to be had.

This time, she'd up the level on the droids.

The corridor became easier with each time she visited, this time was no different. It never repeated itself, but she learned how to concentrate and sense the danger. She was able to dodge, duck and roll before speeding to the end and making it to the same arena area where she sparred the same droids that were inactive in the center of the open space. Unlike before though, there was a control panel which allowed her to adjust the settings for the droids, and adjust them she would. She'd set them on a higher difficulty and take the safety measure off.

This time, they'd be firing real shots - but at a slower pace.

It would also include a droid wielding a training saber, unfortunately she didn't know what Forms of saber combat it would come at her with - anything from Form I to Jar'kai. She just hoped it matched the difficulty level of the others and didn't equate to a Sith Lord - that wasn't something she felt ready for.
