The news as of late had not been pleasant.

It wasn't the worst thing that he had ever gone through, but...well it certainly wasn't the best. There was a pit in his stomach, as deep as one could imagine there to be. His lips were a constant frown, and his wife was much the same. The new of Mira's illness had not hit either of them well.

Yet there was an upside.

Alric and Danger were not just any regular parents, no. They were perhaps two of the richest beings in the entire galaxy. At their disposal they had enormous wealth, countless scientists, hundreds upon thousands of laboratories, and pretty much anything else they needed. With those resources, with that vast wealth, they had already begun working to solve the problem. They knew the solution would not come easily or cheaply, but he was confident that it would come.

Of course a part of that confidence needed to be instilled into the person they were so worried about. Myra. Their daughter was not a fool, she knew that something was wrong, that something had not gone right. It was important that she understood she was sick, but also important to know that it would not stop her from living the life she deserved, not if Alric and Danger had their way.

That was why they continued as they had planned.

That was why they were going to build the ship as they had planned.

"The Foundry is ready." Alric told Danger as he wandered up behind her, sliding his arms around Danger's waist. "Just need the plans from Haven."

The plans they had worked on together.

Danger's hand came up to gently caress the thick stubble across Alric's jaw. In the wake of the news of Myra's illness, they'd both been hit very hard. She'd lost a few kilos, a bit noticeable considering the woman's bountiful curves. However, they had both decided to show a brave front for their little girl. Nothing but positive attitude around her. The researchers and doctors were all doing what they could.

If that didn't work out.. well, then Alric and she would take things into their own hands. One way or another.

"Let me check my messages." the woman replied, giving him a soft but tired smile. Vanir Technologies and Haven Shipyards were working on this contract together along with Arceneau Trade. The trio piled up on their resources so that Arceneau Trade could work with Vanir Technologies and in turn, Haven Shipyards for this particular endeavour.

"Myra asleep?" they'd just celebrated Alric's birthday not too long ago. One of Alric's presents from the tired and sick youngling had been a macaroni art speeder car. Who would have imagined that she could even create such a feat while so ill?

"Yes."He said quietly.

Celebrating hadn't been easy, but the small gift now sat upon his desk at The Farm. That act had made Myra more than happy, and it had been nice to see her smile. He frowned for a moment, thinking about what else he could do to improve his daughters life.

"We'll have to take her some place warm." Cold wasn't good for illness. "The ship should be good enough for her to travel on."

They had added extra medical equipment since the revelation.

In truth, it hadn't been easy accepting all this. Alric and Danger loved Myra dearly, as much as they would any daughter that had been born of them. Her becoming sick had been a terrible blow for each of them. They hoped, Alric especially, that the trips they would take on this ship would be a way for her to grow back into herself, regain some of the health that would otherwise be missing. They would be careful of course, and part of that was the ship itself.

"Good." Myra had been having trouble sleeping lately. The treatments and the drugs were already weathering her fragile, malnutrition body. The corners of her mouth drew tighter, concern rippling through Danger's body.

"We..." a knot seemed to form in her throat. Clearing it, she stepped away from the Tetan to walk over to their desk. Sitting down, she spun on her chair until she faced the data terminal.

"Someplace warm... not too hot." a quick tap of the keys brought up the screen for her electronic messages. The third one down was from Haven.

"Dac?" she suggested, the schematics and the information coming up along the nearby holoarray for them to view.

He came up behind her, his hands resting on the back of her chair as he looked at the screen in front of her. Dac was nice, but it was almost literally all ocean. There were a few islands, but most of them had long ago been appropriated for one government or Mon Calamari shipyard project. Alric didn't think that Myra would find an all water planet charming.

Too tense.

"I think it'd be too much for her." Myra wasn't exactly afraid of everything, but she was an anxious little girl. Alric thought that going to a planet where...land was scarce might throw her off a bit too much, especially if other people were on that island. "What about Onderon?"

He suggested. "It's warm. Quite lovely if you stay in Iziz."

He'd only been there a few times but it had been nice enough.

The ship they were building would take them anywhere they wanted to go, and once they got there the vessel was perfectly suited to act as a hotel or...well pretty much a second home. That was what they had built it for, specifically for Myra to be comfortable.

"Onderon?" Danger repeated, mulling that over in her mind. A frown drew over her forehead.

"Aren't there a few incidents there with the remnants of the Republic?" the last thing they needed was to go to the world that would be in the middle of political turmoil. The woman considered the schematics of the ship that they were building. It wouldn't take long to build at the Foundry. Haven and ATC would provide the base materials while Vanir Technologies will ensure it's swift construction.

"Why not Naboo?" she countered. Lake country would be beautiful there this time of year.

He scratched the back of his head. "Don't know. Iziz was always pretty safe though."

There was some local warlord...or Queen or some such that kept things pretty under control though. Not that he was arguing particularly for one thing or another. Onderon was nice but it wasn't like it was a must or anything. He frowned for a moment and then set his hand on Danger's shoulder. His thumb gently began to massage her, almost as if he did it with an absent mind.

"Naboo was just attacked." He told her. "Just this morning. EMP blast of some sort."

There hadn't been much news about it. "There's all that controversy from Atrisia."

That didn't necessarily rule it out as a destination however. Their ship was a luxury craft, but it was also well defended. Not armed for combat of course, but had better shields than most other vessels and was quick enough to escape most anything. Alric really had to hand it to Haven, they were good at designing ships.

"What?" there was surprise in Danger's voice. Her eyes went wide, and she appeared a bit shocked.

"Do they know who is responsible?" there were so many things going on recently that it would make anyone wonder just when would the chaos end. He made a valid point nonetheless. If Naboo was under attack, the chances of it happening again were high.

"At this rate we won't even know which planet is safe." she mulled over the news.

"Somewhere on the Outer Rim?"

"The Republic." Alric said dubiously. "Or some Remnant. No idea."

He frowned for a moment.

"I wouldn't rule Naboo out completely. I saw some holo-news thing just before, a young woman making an announcement. No idea who she is but she seemed quite sure of Naboo's continued safety. Reminded me of you." Alric looked down at his wife, continuing with his massaging touch.

The ship they had really was fast enough to get out of any trouble, and in truth Naboo was a very nice planet. They wouldn't use the regular starport anyway and he doubted that anyone would attack again so soon. Terrorists were usually cowards, and Naboo was pretty orderly when it came to those sorts of things. Not to mention that it was under the control of the Galactic Alliance, a faction that had more than enough muscle to flex.

He shrugged. "There's some nice places on Naboo, I think Myra would like it."

"Really?" interest glimmered in Danger's eyes, however, her focus was on the ship they were constructing and Myra's health. If they weren't going to completely rule out Naboo...

"We could look into Lake Country." the Queen of Trade suggested.

"Perhaps find a small villa there we could rest at. Spend some time by the lake?" another thought came to her.

"I know Myra's taken to [member="Makai Dashiell"], perhaps we could also invite him over as well?" the little boy and the little girl had grown close.

The Lake country.

Alric knew enough about Nobility to say that every Prince and Princess owned a home there, or two. He let out a sigh, flubbering his lips for a moment as he considered the suggestion. Naboo certainly was pretty, but that area was so stuffed with rich kids that he wasn't sure he really wanted to introduce Myra to it just yet. A shrug eventually rolled over his shoulders.

"Sure." He said quietly, finally agreeing. "I can make a call."

Alric had a guy for pretty much anything.
A lifetime in business and family connections that stretched back millenia pretty much assured him of that. Though his ties to Naboo weren't very strong, he had done business there once or twice in the past. He was pretty sure that he could manage a villa in the lake district. "Let's get the ships plans to The Foundry."

First and foremost.

"Then we'll get the Villa." He smiled.

He wasn't too happy about the suggestion. Danger could read it across the subtle grimace that swept over angular features.

"If you've any other ideas for Naboo, then feel free to suggest 'em." the soft drawl would float over to the elder Tetan. Those bright emerald eyes returned to focus on the ship schematics. A final review and they could have it sent out to Foundry to build.

"It don't have to be Lake Country. Naboo is a large world."

A pause and then a final click. Danger then gave a subtle nod towards the holo array.

"What do you think?"

"I think a beach." He said quietly.

Just a beach.

Alric and Danger could afford to rent, or buy, pretty much any piece of property in the galaxy. Few people would try to argue with them, and even fewer would deny them. They had quite the reputation, and both of them were well known for being quite good to deal with. He was sure that they would be able to find anything they wanted. A beach in it of itself wouldn't be all that difficult to find, Naboo had quite a few of them. Some that were even isolated.

"Looks good." He said with a smile. "Lets send it."

He leaned over and pressed the key.
