Strengths:
Shielding: Built on a similar concept to the Reek-class, the Thunderbolt can absorb more fire than most ships of the same size, rivaling most transports in shield capacity.
Weaknesses:
Cramped: Not designed for comfort, the Thunderbolt is cramped to allow for the most cargo space possible.

Description: More of a transport than a fighter, the Thunderbolt is designed with one intent: Surviving Blockades. The large shielding and focus on cargo is meant to allow relief to besieged planets, letting pilots slip past enemy fleets to get even the most basic supplies through. Although the original ship served it’s purpose, the Thunderbolt is a more accommodating model to civilian markets. The excess shielding is not as extensive as the Holepunch, and relying on it to take as much damage, even in proportion to it's size, isn't wise. There wasn't enough power in the vehicle, and try as they might, there was seemingly no way to add power to the ship to make it all work just right. Nonetheless, it stays a well-shielded ship by most standards.
Development Thread: Will do if needed
Intent: To replace the old Reek-class to a more civilian-oriented model
