The Shadow Of An Assassin (Sith Assassins Versus Jedi Shadows)

Sith Assassin Headquarters: Malif Cove

Months. Perhaps even years now. That's how long the Assassins had held their base. Their secret. Outside of the order only a select few knew of it's location. [member="Reverance"], [member="Matsu Xiangu"] , [member="Taeli Raaf"] . They, while not a part of the order of the Assassins, were privy to the location for their own reason. A mistake on the part of the Assassins leadership. Blind loyalty, one could say. And it was on this day that all of the Assassins would learn a valuable lesson on discretion.
Within the fortress stood none other than it's leader, Darth Ferus, down within it's bowels. The arena, a room build specifically for the Assassins to test their skill against one another, would be filled as it normally would. Acolytes of varying sizes preformed combat drills, split up in several groups for different styles of lightsaber combat. Their leader, the Aspect of War, watched on with uncaring eyes, pushing them to the level of perfection with the ever looming threat of death, or worse.
All throughout the Temple it was busy as normal, acolytes, knights, even droids scurrying around to complete their daily tasks in between missions. Some were leaving with new contracts, others returning from completed ones. The base, filled with near a hundred personal, was alive as ever, for a group of Assassins.
It was in this blind trust however, that all of their lives were about to be torn apart, shattered. Everything they knew was about to be taken away, and none was the wiser.
"Watch your footing boy! Makashi is about elegan, ce, if I see such a sloppy display again I will remove your legs and replace them with something that will." Ferus's voice snapped out as he watched one particular acolyte fall flat on his bottom. An icy blue gaze would linger on him up until he had once more began his training. It was a simple one, involving one side to do the attacking while the other worked on their parrying skills.
Not a single student here was one of Ferus's own apprentices, but he was sure all of them were somewhere within the temple. Today had been a rather lax day, on the assassination side at least. And so the Zabrak had made it more or less a training day, with drills all over. Well, to those who needed it.
It was ultimately boring for the red man however, as standing around and barking orders wasn't exactly his most favorable pass time. Normally, he'd be right down there with them, but with the number of students it wasn't exactly possible. Ten in total, squared off in pairs of two. His eyes constantly had to be scanning.
"Query: Why not simple have them kill one another until one is left standing, thus proving themselves the best of these meatbags?" The robotic voice of a DHK unit named 'Guardian' sounded off behind the Zabrak. Despite his name, this unit was outfitted with the Jedi Slayer mod, making him more of an assistant to the Red Assassins missions. Ferus's own voice would respond, but never once did he look into the direction of the Phrik solid droid.
"I do not like wasted potential. Each of these students can become a powerful Assassin. They were handpicked from the ranks of the One Sith, and I will not let them just die unless it is on the field."
"Statement: I find this a waste of time master, but if this is your will it shall be done." Blue eyes snapped over to the droid, looking him up and down. He was outfitted nicely, but perhaps he was a bit too quick to kill off his own. A hint of a smile showed on War's lips before he turned back to the students.
"You're damn right it will."
Objectives of the Assassins
  1. Delete all information on the Sith Assassins before the Jedi can get their hands on it!
  2. Set explosives throughout Malif Cove to erase it's existence and prevent salvage!
  3. Hold Jedi back while the rest complete the above objectives!

The OOC
Until the Jedi attack, Malif Cove will not be on alert. Assassins are to act as if this a normal day until stated otherwise.

Deep in the bowels of Malif Cove there was a room with unknown original purpose, but it had been adopted as a training room. The peeling murals on the walls were lit by flickering candles, that threw ominous shades on the Ancient Sith texts and blackened depictions of great deeds and important events. The floor was covered in sand and from the far side of the door there was an elevated platform, not unlike a stage. This 'stage' had since been covered in sitting pillows for meditation, equipment for training and hundreds upon hundreds of candles in primitive stands. This was the favourite room of one Rattatai acolyte, who often used it in her personal training. The lack of artifical light was arguably her favourite feature.

Saiah stood in the middle of the sand-covered floor, her knees slightly bent and her arms extended with fingers curled like talons. Her pale eyes fixed into nothingness, and beads of sweat trailed down her pale skin. Before her was a massive boulder, hovering just over the sandy floor. Hovering right over the boulder was another of smaller size. She was practising concentration and endurance in her Force techniques by keeping the boulders in the air and separate. It was strenuous, but not as much as it had been in the beginning. It was difficult for her to imagine the day she had thought it impossible. It was now ridiculous to think she could not. As she heard an audible ding behind her, she slowly lowered the two boulders.

"That should be enough Telekinesis for today. What's next?"

She grabbed a towel from the platform and traced her fingers over a datapad while wiping sweat from her forehead, looking for her next challenge. On the datapad she had collected a number of tasks to practice. Some were from the teachers, others from the Holonet, and a few of them were her own concoctions.

Oh my god, he did what?” The comlink was pressed to her ear as she attempted to paint one of her toenails in this hunched up position. Her long dark hair was wrapped up in a messy bun on top of her head. Yeah, many people were training today and getting their stuff together, but well, she had a life that didn’t involve objectives such as “Kill. Kill. Kill.” or “Yup, I’m totally gonna serve the dark lord all my life and have no fun.” Nope. Tonight, there was a party on Coruscant that she did not intend to miss.

And that meant getting all glammed up tonight. Her formerly red nails were now almost painted a hot pink. She was in her fuzzy pink heart short pyjamas, which stopped mid thigh. She was wearing a camisole and wore a light silk pink bathrobe ontop of the entire ensemble. Her fuzzy white rabbit slippers were slumped on the floor behind her.

She was sitting on top of a couch in the…er, living area of the cove. In front of her was a bowl of chips and guacamole as well as a glass of orange juice. Playing in front of her was some movie called Galactic Spy streaming on her hologram. She kicked herself back as she received the latest gossip from her friend back in Algor.

It was totally a normal day and Sitara would be heading out to a party in a few hours. What could go wrong?

Training, SO MUCH TRAINING! Is this all we do now? I miss the GORY days! Bring me the dirt floor of the pits, the smell of blood and steel and the sound of credits! ARGH! I just want to KILL SOMETHING! Calm down... He needs to continue to learn... You know what? I'm really getting tired of your passive attitude. Where is your passion? Where is your personalty?! I have a goal... Perhaps I am not so narrow minded as you fools... Fools? Narrow minded? We are all in the same head, are we not one mind? No... What is that suppose to mean? You want to share that goal then? No... Aren't you lovely.

Viktor squinted his eyes and massaged his temples. They were getting louder and he couldn't seem to quiet them down. For the last hour he had attempted to meditate in his quarters. They were having none of it. Lately he had been probing his connection with the Force in an attempt to help him find another way to quiet his mind but he had yet to be successful. In fact, today he had managed to achieve quite the opposite. Instead of quieting them Viktor had somehow manage to turn the volume up to eleven. In a sudden onset of frustration and rage he had dismantled his room with his lightsaber. After effectively destroying everything he marched out onto the beach. The water always seemed to calm him.

Dressed in his Sith training attire Viktor was more suited for the colder interior of the base then the tropical heat of the cove. He quickly began to realize this as the heat of the day beat down on him. Beginning with his boots Viktor began to casually undress as he walked, leavings the various parts of his attire strung along the beach leaving a clear trail toward the water. Now wearing only his pants Viktor stopped just as the water started to flow over his feet. Unclipping his lightsaber from his waist he tossed it back just past the water line. He reached into his pants pocket and removed a polished durasteel cigarette case and a lighter.

Hey, don't be smoking that stuff! Maybe if you would've BEEN QUIET he wouldn't be doing this right now... Who's not being quiet now?! Well it doesn't matter much now, does it....

With a push of the blue button on the front of the case it hummed to life and ejected one of Viktor's carsunum laced cigarettes into his hand. Over the years he had experimented with a various variety of spices and other types of drugs to try and help quiet his head when it became too noisy. Out of everything he had tried carsunum was the only thing that seemed to do the trick. With a practiced hand he placed the cigarette in his mouth and lit it. After the first drag he tossed the case next to his lightsaber and lowered himself to the wet sand. Sitting there he continued to enjoy his spice and let the tide bring the ocean water to him.

Objective: 3
Location: Malif Cove
Allies: Those assassin guys.
Enemies: Those other guys.

Short post cause of school. Will write a longer one later.

Stealth is where he failed, and stealth is also where he was improving. What was an assassin without stealth? Honestly, he made more noise than a Hutt trying to fit through a door. The thought made him chuckle, and he looked down below him. He'd set up a decent stealth training thing outside of the cove, using the cliffs and a few robots to his advantage. Droids, not robots, he had to remember that they had an actual name.

Chuckling, he slid down a shallow cliff face, slowly crouching below one of the droids. Jardo had reprogrammed them to sense noise, and so far this one hadn't heard him. He let his new Sith Hidden Blade slide out, using it to stab the droid right in the neck. The sounds of wires as they tied around metal was just a little odd.

Now to finish the rest of them.

Iziz had been making use of the bases meditation chamber, it was the room he found in this ancient monastery when they had come, and since then Iziz had made it his home away from home, most days where others were not in use of it, the Jawa simply could not be found by any unless they were Ferus or others who bordered on the ranks of master or higher. This was usually because Iziz sat in this room, which had a connection to the force, corrupted by the amount of Dark presences here as well as the alchemy which filled this particular floor with fumes which lingered for hours on end. Though, it was still an escape, sitting here with his legs crossed and his tail wrapped around his waist under his coat, Iziz continued to practice the arts of bending light around himself so that he would appear hidden to everything. He had even managed to hide from the scanners of the HK droids which had been sent to find him on occasion, which was a true accomplishment for the Jawa. Each of his light-sabers were at his side, with his staff set on the floor before him as Iziz in this state of mind was, to an A-typical level, perfectly concealed within the cloak of shadows technique. A lost technique passed down by a long forgotten group of nomadic force users, famous for their ways in stealth as research had determined, though, Iziz had largely seemed to come into the skill with some level of natural finesse, as if he had always known it, but, had simply forgotten that it had existed to begin with... Much of the process was a mystery to himself, however, as he meditated on this particular day, it was as if the seas of the force were churning inside him...

Submerged in the sea of the force, Iziz could feel the world, not enough to stretch out his perceptions, like diving into a pool, and relaxing, but with his eyes closed, he could feel the force move around him, he could feel its motions, hear its whispers as it rolled across him, but, the water was disturbed, and Iziz began to be pushed from side to side, physically, like something was moving him, but, it was not the waves rippling form a far away source, it was from within him, something beginning to speak, calling to him through the void, a hollow voice instructing him, speaking in little but a low, pitchless rasp.

'open your eyes... expand your senses... like you're pushing the walls... outward... focus... Iziz... Iziz... focus... '

Thos final two words echoed over and over again, the words themselves seeming to push at the ocean of the force around him, disturbing Iziz's meditation but not to the point where it broke his connection nor his trance like sleep-state. Pulling on his will-power, Iziz began to take the advice of the specter, it was like hearing a familiar, soft spoken voice of a long lost friend. The Jawa found himself trusting it as he began to picture the force as walls around him, holding him in place he attempted to push against the walls of his mind, pushing them outwards he was able to feel space, and control around himself, like this presence was him, and he was it. Iziz had managed to make a connection with the force on some level, although he had no idea what it was for, but, this space seemed to give him more freedom in his meditation, the force no longer crashed against his body, instead, he had created an area of psychic calm around himself, and in this area, he felt powerful, like he was in control, or, perhaps something else was. It was not long before Iziz began to hear the voices, hear the yelling of people, the crack hisses which were so familiar to the Sith they serenaded the point of entry for every mission and every task within the halls of the assassins. And it was then, that Iziz opened his eyes... But he didn't expect to see what he saw.

A brilliant glowing light betwixt Sapphire and Silver flashed through the air as Crimson radiated from his own physical form... the stone walls around himself were familiar, but something seemed off about the world around himself. It moved slowly, and as if the world was out of focus, he could not see the faces of those around him, but all he knew was the feeling of hunger within himself was surging like never before. The familiar hunger of when Iziz was in the center of the great battle, and he was calling upon the full reserves of his strength in order to accomplish a goal, or defeat an opponent. Crashes and bright lights shone as the two lights seemed to collide as the silver-blue beam crashed against the red Beam of Iziz as he bought up his arms to defend himself, and he felt the agonizing pain sear though his body as something seemed to shatter within him, allowing the blade to move past, undeterred as it crashed against the rough and furred skin of his fa-

...

Waking up with a start, Iziz looked around the meditation chamber, two Sith knights stared in his direction with confused looks on their faces, having not known that Iziz was there to begin with... looking... worried, the Jawa staggered to his feet, his hands shaking uncontrollably, not quite knowing what he had seen. Was it his own fate? Was it a nightmare? was it something more? But, one thing was for certain, it seemed to be over now. Touching the side of his face with his shuddering hands which seemed unable to still themselves, he felt the flush warm feeling of his fur under his mask, feeling it still there as he reached down and fumbled for his sabers... dropping the first one before he managed to pick them up, and with two hands, placed each of them into their holsters on the inside of his coat. Looking around at the other two, Iziz didn't say a word, but rather, as if under the effects of a great trauma, he began to walk through the halls of the base, looking at the people as he passed them, hoping that this was truly the waking world... Stepping one foot in front of the other, he didn't know what to do, or who to turn to, so, he wandered aimlessly, without a soul to turn to for advice, and not knowing where his master Ferus would be.

Inconsolable,

and alone...

Some of the Assassins were training, others were socializing and some were getting ready to go off planet. If Alyssa had ever gone to college, she would have thought this very much like a dorm at any university in the galaxy. Despite that, Alyssa enjoyed it here. It wasn't quite the Sisterhood, but the menfolk here at least seemed to know to keep away from her, her carefully trained attitude of hostile indifference coupled with some rumors she had started had kept any other initiates from pawing at her, and those of more power rarely tried to create liasons with the less powerful, especially when it would be nothing for a lot of trouble, in her case.

At the moment, Alyssa was outside. She wore her armorweave skinsuit, whip, blaster and bracers, but was sitting on a ledge of the cliff, about a meter down from the edge. She had found this spot when climbing the cliff face for training/fun. When she sat here, no one could see her from the monastery unless they walked to the edge of the cliff and looked down. No one from below could see her on account of other ledges jutting out farther than hers. She could be seen from the water, and that was pretty much it.

She liked to come here and think. She had a lot to think about. In the recent months, she had become far more active in her training and had joined two sub factions of the One Sith Empire. She'd been on missions, had taken lives and had lived here at Malif Cove and on installations of the Sisterhood. She'd been to Coruscant a few times, mostly for fun stuff. Her life seemed to have exploded into existence where none had been before, and that caused a great deal of thinking.

His hidden blade still out, Jardo slowly moved towards the second droid. This one was a clever little thing, reprogrammed to sense the slightest sound. Smiling, he slowly crept up behind the droid, hidden blade ready to strike. As quietly as his could, Jardo stood, eyes on the back of the droid's neck. Drakton at his side, Jardo dug the blade into the neck of the damn droid. Listening as the metal creaked and broke was almost music to the ears of the young Sith.

The final droid was the most advanced. Having been reprogrammed to think like Nyx this thing was also the most dangerous. One wrong move and he'd be sensed. This was what it was like in the real world, of course. Enemies would be expecting you, you had to become one with the shadows to move behind them and to hide from them. Thus Jardo had placed this final heap of metal under a cliff face.

"Always a challenge". That was his master's favorite saying. "Incorporate challenges into challenges". To reach the final droid would involve climbing the cliff face, crouching through a small gap and then dropping onto the droid. So easy but yet so many chances to make a sound. Making a sound would be bad, because although these droids didn't kill, being shot by them still come sharp.

Making sure his hidden blade was strapped on, Jardo allowed it to slide back into the bracer. Jardo had made the blade sharper than it was when he got it, and he tucked his fingers back as to not loose one. Slowly, he made his way to the cliff face, calling upon the force to slowly scale the thick rock, silent as he did. It took time, to get up without making a sound, but finally he did it. Staring at the small hole in front of him, Snow got onto his stomach, using his forearms to do some military style crawl through the gap.

Climbing out the other side, Jardo looked down below him. It should of been as simple as to drop down and stab the droid, but Jardo had programmed the droid to expect that. Like he said, he'd programmed the droid to act like Nyx, and Nyx would expect that. Damn force user. That'd be a fun fight when it happened.

Jardo slowly crouched down, crawling along to the edge of the cliff. Grabbing hold of a loose bit of rock, Jardo lowered himself down slightly, swearing as his hand hold fell. Falling back, Jardo managed to land in some military style roll, knees tucked in. The droid had clearly heard him, and Jardo only just dodged one of the flying bullets. He had to remind himself not to reach for Drakton (his lightsaber) as he'd clearly made a mental note of not allowing himself his lightsaber during this. An assassin shouldn't use his lightsaber. Chuckling lightly he jumped to the side, dodging yet another stray bullet. Using the force, he pushed the droid back against the wall, then he dropped part of the cliff onto it.

And it sort of died.

Objective: Infiltrate Sith Assassin base

Kian slid his arms into the gauntlets of his robes and turned, leaving the small quarter aboard the stealth shuttle they had landed in. The weeks of planning and the meetings with Taeli and Corvus had long since passed and now was the time to put the plan into action. The small band of Jedi had arrived on the planet a few hours before and Kian had immediately set the droids about monitoring comm channels to ensure no alarms had been raised by their presence. The stealth vessel was a prototype that was currently in the works by the Galactic Republic and Kian wasn't entirely sure how the vessel would hold up in the field.

After several hours of silence, it seemed it had done the job.

Making his way briskly to the command center of the ship, where Kian would be meeting with the remainder of the team, he couldn't help but feel a little bit of excitement. Kian worked very hard to hid one small secret about his personality.....he liked to fight. He believed strongly in the Jedi philosophy of pacifism....but he couldn't help but enjoy the dance of battle, the clash of his blade with an opponents. He didn't like killing....he'd learned that early, but he did enjoy the duel of wills that a battle entailed.

Today especially excited Kian. He had first clashed with the Sith Assassins on Empress Teta a while back and had barely escaped with his life, but while they had held the upper-hand in that engagement, Kian now had it for a change. They would be outnumbered most likely, but the fact that they were moving under the cover of stealth and surprise, gave their mission a moderate chance of success.....which was better than most of Kian's missions.

"Hello everyone." Kian said entering the conference room and looked around the room of assembled Jedi. It was a good task force. Not all were "exclusively" Jedi Shadows, but they were all affiliated with the organization and Kian had picked them for what they represented....some of the finest Jedi of the Order.

Turning toward Taeli Raaf, Kian bowed his head. "Take us through it Taeli.....where is the entry point?" Kian asked. They had gone over it before, but this was the final mission debriefing and it was an important one. They would be moving out soon.

Xander had spent the better part of a week recovering from the journey to Kesh. The cost of ridding himself of the spirit had not been permanent, but it was fairly high. Without knowing it, the spirit had attached itself to Xander, and when it was torn from him, Xander had been left unable to use the force for a time. Today he felt fully recovered, and the effect of the separation comepletly worn off. While he had found his freedom then, he felt fully free today, and to celebrate, Xander did something knew. He had his tailor put together ensembles which would work the moder era he now lived in. Dressing in one such outfit, Xander was heading to find [member="Sitara Qin"].

He had heard mention of a party of some kind, and he knew the woman well enough to know she would be there if there was. His sense told him she would be found in the communal living area within the facility all the assassins shared, and that was where he was now headed. The beauty of owning the family home which had connected to the base the assassins used was the way in which Xander could move about unnoticed by most. It was a secret access known only to himself, Sitara, and [member="Darth Ferus"]. It had been kept a secret in case there was ever a need to use it as a secondary exit to smuggle things out. Xander had hoped the day would never come to that, but he was prepared for it regardless.

Xander found Sitara painting her toe nails, and he approached quietly. He wanted to see the look on her face when he revealed his new, updated, selection of attire. Naturally it still allowed for him to carry his lightsaber, and was not the attire he would wear when on missions for the assassins. This was casual attire meant for everyday wear, the attire one would be seen in public with, say with a pretty woman on his arm.

"That is most certainly your color. I would suspect that someone is getting ready to be the center of attention tonight. Is her plus one slot already filled?"

It had been awhile since she had been here, the last time being when Ferus had murdered Minna and she had confronted him in her office here. Now though, things had changed mightily. Garbed in a close fitting armor with a Jedi overrobe belted around the middle, she looked more like a Jedi from the Great Galactic War than a modern one, but she didn't mind. Her normal lightsaber hung on her belt, with her shoto concealed in its hidden holster on her belt, and she had a few ion and plasma grenades tucked away.

She wasn't sure how exactly to feel, but then again, she had no real ties to any of the Sith that were in the temple a few clicks away. Not a single one had really been her friend, Ferus being more of an ally until he did that one action. It was sort of ironic really. Here she was, helping the Jedi to strike at the Sith, when it had been her and Minna that convinced Ferus to rejoin the Sith. How time flowed.

Nodding her head at the others, she smiled and opened a hologram of the temple and the surrounding area.

"So here is what we have," she said, activating an interactive pen to highlight certain areas of the temple. "The temple here is not really important beyond being a cover for the Sith Assassin fortress that is built in the lower levels of this place and it does serve as the main entrance to the place. Now, when I was helping them build the base, I had a team of engineers use a side entrance here to bring materials directly into lower levels. We were supposed to collapse when we finished, but we never got around to actually laying the explosives to do so. That passage will lead directly into the lab I set up there, but I suspect Ferus and his people have their databases elsewhere. The power generator for the facility is located there though so if we hit that they are in the dark."

Reaching down, she pulled out a small case and set it on the table and opened it.

"Inside here are some special contact lenses for each of us," she said, picking out a small container with the lenses. "They are special scanners that can pick up heat signatures and the electrical impulses from a nervous system so if a Sith is using Force Concealment or something similar, you'll still be able to see them. Oh and Kian, I made a special pair for you so they can work with the goggles you wear to protect against atmosphere."

"Tell me, Guardian, how goes the upgrades to the defenses? I want a full layout, whats complete, what isn't, what's already there." Ferus spoke up to the droid behind him as he watched the students, wishing for some way to pass the time as he waited for them to complete this round of training. The Droid promptly went back into it's memory banks, and brought up all files on anything recent, old, and in between on the structure of the Assassins.
It had been some times since [member="Taeli Raaf"] had last been here, and when she pulled out of One Sith space much of her ways of looking into the organization were promptly removed. They weren't that trusting. However, they still assumed the now x Sith Lord to be loyal to the Dark Lord, and keep their base a secret. A mistake, and a big one. But, much had changed within the organizations base. What was once a run down shack became a base fitting of any Sith. Sith Troopers, hand selected by the Red Assassin himself, paced down the corridors and guarded the entrances. They were simple troopers, armed with what ever the main body of Sith would give them.
Deeper within, auto turrets were set up for pesky intruders, though basic in design. They were currently being fitted for upgrades, but they weren't active because of it. There were now two power generators. The main one, close to the lab Taeli had made, and a back up that was set to turn on limited function should the first fail. Possibly the most note worthy attachment to this however was that the main generator had an EMP function now attached to it. One that, should the EMP be shut off without Ferus's presence and DNA, would activate to shut down what ever was close by. The design was to keep droids, who the Sith had a hard time sensing in the force, from coming in and shutting down the primary resources. And if droids weren't there, it would shut down any computer access to the room, and alert the Sith of intruders.
Asides from Guardian, there were three other DHK droids fitted with the same armory as the first. The other six were currently off base, completing missions no acolyte could do, or a Force User in general if it came to that. They were on stand by save for again Guardian, but they could be turned on with a simple switch.
The Sith Assassin base was not going to be a simple place to just waltz into.
Satisfied with the report, the Zabrak gave his droid a quick nod, and his attention back to the students.
"Remind me to get working on those auto turrets."

Yeah. I can’t even believe she was wearing that. It was so frigging ug—UGH! XANDER!” She screamed as her fellow assassin snuck up behind her. Her hand moved, smudging her right toenail and she dropped the comlink onto the couch. She gritted her teeth. Great, now I have to repaint this one. She glared at her lover for a few moments.

You seriously could’ve just walked in front of me.” She said, as a twi’lek onscreen began making out with some chiss duded. Holowood was becoming more diverse with interracial couples. It was pretty cool. She grabbed a cotton ball and started to put polish remover on it telepathically. With her hand, she grabbed the comlink. “Girl, I’ll have to call you back.

Ugh. You’re so annoying.” She scrunched up her nose, leaning up to receive a kiss. “You know, you’re so lucky you’re cute otherwise I’d still be mad at you.” She smiled, before continuing to paint her nails. “And yes, you can join me. You’re always a great date.” She grinned.

I love your new outfit, by the way. Very classy.” She patted the free space next to her, asking her to join him. “I’m so glad it’s a quiet day with no missions to go on. I would just hate it if I had to miss this party.” Yes, she was totally jinxing herself.

"Yes but then it wouldn't have been a surprise," he said as he leaned down to give the young woman a kiss.

His mood had changed overnight since losing the amulet. The Jewel he kept, but it was devoid of the spirit that had haunted him. There was a plan he had for it, a surprise for his lover later, but now wasn't the time. He just grinned as the cushions of his butt hit the couch. This time he was carful not to make Sitara jump and mess up.

"Glad you like it. I've comoletely updated my wardrobe to incorporate my style with what's modern. So... How formal is this thing?"

Xander put his arm on the back of the couch around his lover. His blue eyes were watching the drama which was playing on the holovision. It was garbage, but he wasn't going to tell Sitara to change it. Honestly he avoided most holovids as he was an avid reader. Xander would rather read a book than watch something. Time, that was the issue. He wanted to spend time with Sitara. It was a day to do just that. There was nothing until the party.

"You know, I'm using thenforce full swing now. That means we can....... reconnect....."

It was cheesy, yes, but Xander had rediscovered his dry humor.

Objective: Talk to the Jawa.
Location: Deep inside Malif Cove.
Allies: Sith Assassins, [member="Iziz Vei"].
Enemies: Sneaky people outside, of whom we know nothing.

Saiah heard footsteps outside her room, not uncommon, but these were slightly different. Shuffling? Shaking? She put down the datapad and began dressing herself properly. Attaching her Assassin's attachment to her wrist, she was wearing it to get used to the feeling. It still felt odd on her arm, but she was becoming accustomed to it. As she wrapped her outer cloak around herself with a flourish she turned 180 degrees and saw Iziz shuffling past. The general area of her face that would have eyebrows if Rattataki had hair, raised itself in an expression of amused confusion.

"Iziz Vei, where are you headed in such a hurry?"

She tried a wicked smile as she called for the Jawa. Her hands were busy fixing the attaching mechanism of the robe's neckline, but she carried herself to his general direction. Whilst on the way, she telekinetically drew her lightsabre hilt to her hand and fitted it in its concealed compartment. Upon coming closer to the Acolyte, whether he stopped or not, she would express a certain worry about his state.

"You look as if something terrible happened."

Or rather, how she assumed he would look if something terrible had happened.

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Objective: Relax
Location: The beach

Kitty was a creature with a very dramatic reaction to stress, how sadistic it is that the force or fate ensure that most of her time was spent under some sort of stress. Well not today, today the young Felacatian laid upon the beach soaking in the nice warm wonderful rays from the sun. To others the sun might be too much but to Kitty it was amazingly perfect. The sand would be a huge pain to clean out of her fur later, but she would not let that bother her now. Her strong nose smelt nothing but the pleasant sea and beach properties, along with the occasional hint of an assassins which she was content to ignore. Her sensitive ears heard nothing but the calming sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the sea birds shouting in the air. She quickly fell asleep unaware of the imminent danger.

The moment that he noticed Kian enter the room, Varus pushed off of the wall and slowly strode up to the conference room table, stopping next to it and raising either of the large, muscled arms he had across his broad chest. Typically, Varus wasn't an overly serious person unless he was training or on an important mission, and this was about as important a mission as he'd ever been on. After all, no matter how well prepared they were going into this, there would be a point when things would get set off like a slow burning fuse leading to a pile of explosives. It always happened, and considering their mission wasn't one geared towards a hopefully peaceful resolution, Varus was in form, and expressionless look upon his face as the blue pools of his eyes shifted from Kian to Taeli as she began to brief them.

When the newly anointed Jedi filled them in about the layout they would be working with while they underwent the mission, Varus glanced down at the table to see the small case that Taeli had presented to them. As she filled them in on what was within it, Varus reached down, popped the latch to the case and raised the lid back, gently letting it fall against the conference room table. He then reached in and grabbed one of the tiny containers, plucking it open with his thumb and gently reaching in with his index finger, letting one of them stick to his finger with it's moisture, raising it and placing it atop those blue eyes. He then did the same with the other, making sure that it was comfortably situated by rubbing his thumb and middle finger against both eyelids for a moment.

As he realized they were as comfortable as they were going to be Varus took a step back from the table and crossed his arms once more, jaw rippling as he clinched his teeth, his body aching for the heat of battle in a similar way that Kian desired the fluidity of saber combat with a well versed foe. That mission was his priority now, and for as long as he was a part of that team, he and those he was arriving with were all that mattered. Blood before Glory...

"May the force be with us all."

Do I just not exist lol. You've all not tagged me :( I'm a sith too you know.

jking, but anyway, this is short. Will post more after school, ugh. Save me.:

Objective: Try not to die of exhaustion
Location: Some little cove thing, who cares.
Allies: The ones that don't kill him
Enemies: All of the other guys

Jardo sat in the corner of his little cove testing place thing, sweat running down his forehead. His little training had gone well, although he wouldn't be able to salvage the droid he'd just crushed. Poor thing was just a mess of wires and bits of metal and rock. Jardo didn't regret it though. Damn thing shouldn't of shot at him.

Standing up, he grabbed the corner of the rock, using a force jump to reach the top. Looking over Malif Cove, the brilliant views were amazing, stunning. He had never really had chance to admire them, and damn did he regret it. The calm waves lapping against the shore, this looked like something out of a movie, or off a postcard.

Objective: Talk to the Jawa.
Location: Deep inside Malif Cove.
Allies: Sith Assassins, [member="Saiah"]
Enemies: Evil Jedi

At the mention of his name Iziz almost jumped a foot in the air, so on edge and anxious that he was not able to conceal his emotions. turning around to see a familiar face, Iziz's eyes looked a little paler and more disturbed than they usually would, his bio-luminescent eyes glowing not as brightly as they normally would when he was happy or when he was angry. Iziz needed to fight his mind in order to simply move, but, in a stark contrast and cruel irony his fingers could barely be stilled, they fidgeted nervously unable to end as the Jawa spend some small moments looking up at the grey-skinned woman, her hairless body, the colour of ash, it took a moment for the distraught Jawa's eyes to realize who he was looking at, it was the woman from the tournament he had fought in the first round, though he could not bring himself in this state of mind to remember her name. She seemed to continue to speak, but, Iziz did not hear the words she spoke, simply looking at her for a time as he tried to take control of his body... he could feel himself sinking, falling, loosing himself to his emotions. But, like he touched the ground of the sea floor, giving himself the footing to pull himself back, a surge of delayed emotion rushed through his body as if the flood-gates had opened, the dazed Jawa's eyes opened fully and he exploded into movement, darting the two steps forward that he would need to make in order to grip around Saiah's leg, his frigid fingers almost clawing against her and tugging on her clothing as he would cling, and not want to let go... beginning to chatter so quickly in pure Jawanese that even other Jawa would not be able to pick up the words he was saying.

It was at that point that something clicked...

Iziz after those couple of moments, stopped, looking up at her, and tried to collect his thoughts enough to string together a sentence of comprehensible words, taking a deep breath, Iziz had begun to gain a basic understanding of common, and was slowly learning how to actually speak the language rather than resorting to his use of Jawanese, be it as the trade language variant or the pure variant which also used pheromones in order to communicate. Slowly the words gathered in the Jawa's mind as he began to transmute thoughts into tangible words.

"I was in the meditation chamber... I... heard voices there, telling me to do things, and i did them, but, not long after, I opened my eyes... and... it was like I was somewhere else, it was like a nightmare... but... real... What's... happening to me Sai-ah... I... Don't understand..."

Iziz tried to fight back against the prospect of looking week, pulling away and looking around, as any tears which may have begun to fall from his eyes would have been quickly absorbed by the black face mask, though the Jawa was clearly overwhelmed by the emotions of the vision he had recently received, the idea of penetrating the veil of the present and looking into events of what was to come, especially in a world where he could feel the snapping of his own bones and the heat of the saber on his face... if this was prophesy... he could not allow it to come to pass, but, if it was only a nightmare bought on by his meditation and the dark thoughts which sometimes crossed his mind, his conscience had very well done its job of tormenting him for the wrong deeds he had performed in recent days.

But, he needed direction...

"Help me"

Objective: Infiltrate Sith Assassin base
Location: Several clicks from the Sith Assassin base

James had finally been able to get on a mission after falling ill for a few months, and now it was hisntype of mission. Infiltration and elimination. This would work well for his aching bones to get back into the routine of being a Shadow. He stood across the holo-table from the Jedi Masters gathered. His loyalties had been in question because of his past, but it was only untested. He'd fought for the Republic on a couple battles now, and had gathered Intel on the OS on another instance.

He remained silent, wearing the Jedi Shadow Robes and Armor. His twin sabers rested in their homes, awaiting a chance to be used. The mission was clear and precise, nothing to remember outside a layout that was straight forward. It should go over easily. The known Sith Lord that resided here was a known Assassin and experienced combatant. In the Sith, he is known as Darth Ferus, some Jedi called him the Red One because Jedi are very original.

In any case, he was the obstacle. The target to be wary of. Before the group departed, James began to center himself of the Force and find the dark corners of it to hide himself from the enemy. Gaining power and energy from the Living Force while feeding the dark corners with his presence. As soon as they moved out, he'd be more shadow than man.
