Culture: Formerly humans and other species but slowly over time with corruption and alchemy crafted into creatures of the darkside. Their senses severed and twisted to only allow smell, their bodies filled with the darkside waters of Aza'zoth and locked away in stasis to be used on battlefields and in raids by darkside masters and scouts. THeir bodies becoming bloated and popping to give them death and be replaced as the waters preserved by their taint spread around an area.

Technology level: None

General behavior: Sent into ba battlefield with the unseelie and made to spread the highly corruptive and dangerous water's of Val'ryss.

Upon awakening from the stasis the seelie search for pheromone signatures. Prolonged stasis for more then a few months will eventually begin to give away and the skin falls from the bones decomposing. Balaya has worked to enhance their sense of smell and tracking albiet slow to follow her scent or a lotus stick/essence of zeltros.

Their movements are slower carrying a bloted form that is sickening and gives them a rotten sickly smell as they walk to a location and stand there. Their attack abilities not strong but made to be decoys and shields for a momnt before exploding like a water balloon. Their hive mind allowing one to lead the others to a source.

The hive mind is simple, sharing pain that can momentarily freeze and stall the others from walking when one pops or in some cases prematurely popping another in a chain reaction. Their ses of smell can lead others in a single firection until the others catch it.

Directives from darksiders are weaker, the sense of smell for the creature allows it to go where directed and not interfere with the controllable Unseelie species that can be used by darksiders. In the presence of the stronger darksiders they can be directed to suicide into a room and try to blindly attack an enemy.

History:


Created from slaves and those who have refused to submit to the will of the One Sith order. The Seelie are modeled after the Unseelie sithspawn with their bodies being warped by the waters of Aza'zoth into something new that can serve the darkside. Their minds destroyed or broken leaving only the most basic of functions and they are pumped with the waters of the caries. Then they are set in stasis to preserve them until their purpose is needed. Special glands based on research conducted by Kaine and Balaya on Falleen subjects when he was teaching her allow the waters to be released through the skin as a noxious and gasous form to spread the tainted waters around.

Her work with Kaine as an apprentice on subjects, and creation of the unseelie as well as refinement of the caries into breaker grenades while in service of the empire. Has given a more unique insight into the waters as well as the black foge and lake of the planet allowing for more manipulations now that she is more experienced. Her work in creating the Inferno when Kaine faked his death to find the one sith and left her with Vulcanus taught her how to wrap reality around her finger and bludgeon it into her image with the darkside. These led to the newly created beings that can augment and compliment their forces spreading the caries like a black plague into the minds of the jedi or lightsiders who breathe it in. (effects are the same as ingestion detailed in caries submission)

The creation process of the creatures is simple but at the same time not many except the top tier alchemists would be able to recreate. The lessons Balaya learned from Kaine and Val'ryss giving her a decent knowledge of alchemy and sorcery while working with the black forge of Aza'zoth with a younger Rave had taught her more. Only a handful of the strongest alchemists in the galaxy would and should be able to copy or improve upon her work and create stronger creatures. Balaya was confident in that at least while she set them about to properly be used in offensives against the Republic.

Intent: To create a newer breed based on Balaya's Unseelie she created under the direction of her master Kaine as a knight. Now as a master she is using her own prowess to create something.

Hey there I'll be seeing to this submission for as long as I can! (Meaning you may end up with another Judge by the end)

Before we get onto the issues within the submission itself, I am going to request that you carry out a development thread for the creation of this species due to its Sithspawn roots.

Once this is seen to there will be a number of issues within this submission itself to rectify:

The first issue I see is with the homeworld / point of origin. This should be Aza'zoth as this is the place upon which they were created, irregardless of whether they have been forced to migrate through movement to Coruscant.

Secondly, are all of them facing the same weaknesses? If so how are they capable of carrying it out effectively without half of their senses in use? It's one thing for a skilled darksider to give them their commands and another to expect them to direct them every step of the way. I'd recommend adding in some sort of heightened sense not relating to sight or hearing to make up for this in their strengths.

They are mute, thus the "language" part is irrelevant.

Communication refers to how they communicate, not how others communicate with them, please rectify this and mention the directives from a darksider within their general behaviours.

Do they ONLY breathe type 3? If so then they are going to need some sort of support for their breathing, as Coruscant sports type 1 atmosphere.

Please expand upon the culture: while they may have previously followed a humanoid culture they would now have their own, even if it simply means you expanding upon their directives from dark siders and their hive mind mentality.

Please expand upon their general behaviour, making explicit mention of the hive mind and the necessary directives from dark siders.

Finally I'd like to know how this species are upon first awakening from their state of stasis, and whether prolonged lengths of waiting before being awoken will effect them in anyway, especially where the hive-mind is concerned.

Once the development thread has been addressed and completed, and the edits above seen to, please mention me in this post so that we can continue with the review.

I believe I addressed all the edits requested, the dev thread the creature's first has been created and is continuing while Balaya gives alchemy lessons to the knight and apprentice with her. This is going on while they and several npc priests make and set into stasis the seelie.

For someone on par with Valik or Rave easy. For you still easy more then likely but for others who the top seven alchemists on the board (Kara, Rave, Valik, Kaine, Balaya, Daxton, Velok and Valryss) this would be harder. However this is not an overly complicated and large thing like corrupting creatures and species that are able to still breed and produce more sithspawn.
