The Maiden and The Metal (Non Canon)

The streets of Coruscant

0500 Hours

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWgOC4xCVPI

Mike walked down an empty street, playing his guitar softly as the sun slowly rose behind some distant sky scrapers. He had recently been getting a better handle on his unique abilities, and now he could finally play again without accidentally hurting someone. All he wanted too do now was share his music with the universe and make it even more kick ass.

As he serenades the sunrise, little flowers crack through the pavement of the street and form a trail behind him, while the sun shines through the buildings like a spotlight. He looks around at the multiple apartment complexes he passes on the street, imagining all the people sleeping inside and missing out on the sunrise. "These people... They just don't understand..." He said tragically, as he walked out into a clearing in direct line of the sun. Staring at the sunrise, Mike knew what he had to do. "Its up to us to show them how epic life really is, Maria." He said with a smirk, looking down at his guitar.

After his band died, Maria was the first guitar Mike had been able to play without destroying everything in his vicinity. For some reason, the way she sounded made his music less wild and much more controlled. She made it possible for him to go on living after Zombies and Cake's final show, and together they were going to change the universe.

Mike stood in the sunlight, continuing the soothing melody and feeling the wind in his face as the force flowed through him. After a moment, he stopped and closed his eyes while the last note rang out, before loudly scrapping his fingers down the strings of the guitar and playing a much heavier melody that booms across the entire street as the sun rises over the horizon.

Matsu was irritated as it was. Coruscant was not the same planet she remembered from a few years ago on her first visit. Back then it had been a planet almost offensive in its freedom of expression, appealing to every walk of life from the upper echelon occupying the sky to those who’d been pushed so low in the dirt they’d retreated below the city itself. And things had only gotten more polarized since the One Sith had come to call on the capital planet. The Republic had seemed so secure on the planet they’d held for years upon years, and their defeat had shaken much of the population.

All she needed was to get in and get out, but the constant stream of pedestrians was making any forward momentum difficult. Crowds usually didn’t get on her nerves but after the day she’d had chasing leads about a man she was looking for – the father of her best friend, a complicated affair that was only making her travel farther down the rabbits’ hole – she was just about ready to lift everyone off the streets and throw them off the upper balconies to the streets below, let them work themselves out down there and out of her way.

But instead she just found a smaller side street to go down, one surprisingly empty despite the clogged pathways she’d just left. She assumed it was because she’d just chosen a long way around or a less desirable route but at the point she didn’t care – if she was taking a long time to get where she was going, she would at least do it without being jostled by smelly, annoying pedestrians.

It seemed she wouldn’t be so lucky though as the further she traveled down the street the louder the most grating noise became on her nerves. Was that…music? Or supposed to be? It sounded like someone was having some kind of unfortunate attack while they happened to be standing next to a musical instrument. Perhaps her mood was making her unkind, but as she saw the man looking rather plaintive and invested in his musical creation she couldn’t help but think if he didn’t stop by the time she got closer he’d be the first casualty of the day.

He didn’t stop.

And as she passed him she lifted her cybernetic hand and pushed outwards with the Force, ripping his guitar from his hands and throwing it with all the force she could at the wall behind him, hoping to see it smash in to bits and silence his noise.

[member="Metalhead Mike"]

The guitar was suddenly jerked away from Mike's grip and the guitar strap snapped off as Maria smashed against a wall, shattering to pieces. "NOOO!" Mike yelled as he ran over to the broken pieces and fell to his knees, trying to collect all the pieces and put her back together. "Maria! MARIA!"

Mike looks at the girl in disbelief, as she continues walking away. "What have you DONE?!" He yells angrily at the her before looking back at his beloved guitar desperately trying to save her, but she was nothing but splinters. Mike dropped all the pieces he had and puts his hands on his head, breathing erratically. She was dead... And now there was nothing that could stop all hell from braking loose if he ever wanted to pick up a guitar again. "I'll find you!" He yelled at the dark maiden as she disappeared behind some buildings. "I'LL FIND YOU!"

He would spend the next few days building a new guitar of his own design. The exact opposite of everything Maria ever was. A guitar that would harness the chaos inside of him, instead of calm it. A guitar that would produce metal so raw, that it would melt the fething face from the dark maiden's skull. She had no idea of the hell she had unleashed.

Annaj
Late Afternoon

Matsu was in a far better mood than she had been the last few days. Coruscant was not a place she would have to find herself any time soon and she was back on one of the planets she’d come to call home, where her old Master held sway as Governor. Most of the business she’d had to attend to was finally wrapped up and she could relax.

Though she was the kind of woman who preferred to be in the thick of things she had chosen apartments more secluded on this planet in contrast to her main-thoroughfare homes on others. She was on her way back to them now, walking slowly and enjoying the kind of sky only Annaj could offer: dark, red, roiling – a stark contrast to her mood. She was finally starting to feel some of that control Jared was always talking about, the ability to harness what had always seemed so uncontrollable about her power.

She hadn’t given a single thought to the man who’d sounded so anguished when she’d ended his music since she’d escaped the surface of Coruscant. She’d heard his cries of anger and despair behind her as she’d walked away, but they’d meant nothing – not even relief. Honestly she couldn’t say why she’d even bothered expending the energy to ruin his instrument in the first place.

Ugh, that fething ‘music’.

[member="Metalhead Mike"]

As Matsu neared her apartment a thick fog began to sweep across the entire area, blocking everything from view. She could barley make out the shadow of a man standing in the fog about 10 feet away.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GohrfPEthmI

Suddenly the sound of a slow drum beat began to echo out from the distance. The fog falls away to reveal Mike, staring at her through the hair in his face and holding a metal double neck guitar. He grits his teeth and clenches onto a guitar pick, that he had casted out of phrikite. It was the only material he knew of that could hold together under his level of shredding. He dubbed it, "The Phrik of Destiny".

Mike slowly brought his hand up and struck the guitar strings, beginning to play. Suddenly the wind picked up and blew away the fog, revealing the ghostly apparitions of Mike's dead band members playing along with him. He stared at the dark maiden silently for a moment, letting his rage flow into the music, and building its power. "Hey queen. Let me introduce you to my band, Zombies and Cake. Thats Zim on bass, and thats Kake rockin the kark outa those drums." He said nonchalantly as he continued playing, never breaking eye contact with Matsu. "You can call me Metalhead Mike... Welcome to Hell."

Mike lets the last note ring out on one neck of the guitar while tapping an extremely fast, high pitched riff on the other. The sound pierces through Matsu, shaking the foundation of the planet as the ground begins to open up, and dead rotting corpses crawl out from underneath. Mike and his band explode into a symphony of chaos, sending the zombies at Matsu in a wild rage.

[member="Matsu Xiangu"]

Alright, fog? Annaj wasn’t the most livable of planets but it didn’t usually make her feel as if she was suddenly breathing in swamp water.

But it seemed that was the least of her problems as the low strum of a guitar blared across the street she was walking along. She stopped in her tracks completely, squinting through the fog only to see, as if lit in backdrop, a band playing the very music that seemed to be scrambling her brains. So IRRITATING! It took her a moment to realize the man was the same who’s guitar she’d broken only days before. She had to give him credit – she wasn’t necessarily the hardest person to track down with her face well-known in the Fringe and beyond, but still…so many people would have been too lazy to exact revenge.

But he called her a queen, and even if that were true, it wouldn’t do.

He seemed to have quite a sense of theatricality though – she’d seen a few holodramas that would benefit from his sense of timing – as the guitar really ripped through her brain and so did a crack in the ground. The namesake of his ‘band’ startled crawling out of the ground towards her and her first instinct was to control them, rip through the flesh of their brains and burn them so totally they took on her commands. But unfortunately they were dead, immune to her whims.

So instead she took Tianzun from her side, twisting it hand-over-hand in a flourish before throwing it, grabbing it with the invisible ropes of the Force and swinging it in a wide arc, slicing cleanly through the necks of the line of zombies closest to her to separate their heads from their bodies. With that done, their minds were still of use to her as she called Tianzun back, gripped the floating heads with a twist of her hand, and sent them hurtling towards the band, wet brains and soft skulls like disgusting projectiles. With Tianzun in hand she advanced, slicing through arms and legs and torsos, using them as meaty bombs to explode over her attackers as she drew closer.

That music HAD to stop, for good.

[member="Metalhead Mike"]

Mike growls angrily while Matsu cuts through waves of the undead, sending their limbs flying at Mike with effortless control of the force. As the brains and rotting limbs smash into him, he drops his head and lets his metallic hair fall down to protect his face and guitar so that he can keep playing, but the hits just kept on coming while Matsu grew closer. Feeling his rage building with the music, Mike lifts his head and lets out a long and powerful death metal scream that sets fire to everything directly in front of him, incinerating the projectiles just before they hit and shattering the windows of nearby buildings.

It was clear that the zombies weren't going to get the job done, but they were still obstacles that could keep her at a distance. Mike continues playing as hard as he can, tapping on one neck and strumming viciously on the other. More of the undead are summoned from beneath the streets and they pile up in front of the band. The zombies start beating the crap out of each other, forming a protective mosh pit of death in between Mike and the maiden.

Then he started the solo. Not even a jedi could resist the mind blowing powers of one of Mike's guitar solos.

[member="Matsu Xiangu"]

There were lots of things Matsu could do with her hair – though her Master said all of them took too long – but creating a nearly impenetrable shield with it was not her talents. Maybe when all this was over she would take this man’s head and bring it back to Valik, ask him to duplicate whatever it was that kept this ‘musician’ safe from her zombie-bombs.

She watched as he summoned more zombies from the rend in the street, their limbs jerking and erratic as they responded to the assault of notes churning out of his instrument. Two could play at that game – dragging her fingers toward her palm, claw-like, she summoned hell-creatures of her own. Tuk’ata, huge and bestial, clawed their way from the depths and poured out towards the undead mosh pit, teeth gnashing and tails whipping. Wet smacks, groans cut off in mid-swing, the snap of old bone…a counterpoint to her assailant’s music.

And then it came, the sound of the guitar alone, notes hit with the kind of speed that made her sure he wasn’t human. So loud, so FETHING loud, like screeches of pain but not so sweet and satisfying. She fell to her knees, clasping her head between her hands and screaming in time with the solo.

No…not like this.

She stood, her rage consuming her, letting the hideousness of the music fill her and fuel her. Her pupils turned to pinpricks, amber consuming her irises. When she started sprinting she let Tianzun trail behind her, punching the Force in to every stride until she was nearly a blur, pushing off the ground once more with the Force. Raising Tianzun over her head in a two-handed grip she bared her teeth in a scream as she soared over the hellish pit of the undead and sith-spawn towards her attacker, her sword ready to slice down and right through his skull – metalhead or not.

[member="Metalhead Mike"]

As the solo intensified, the Phrik of Destiny began to turn red hot and warp out of shape, eventually snapping in two. The music suddenly stops and Mike looks at whats left of the guitar pick before flicking it into the pit of zombies and sith spawn. "Not even The Phrik could take that one... she's done..." He thought to himself, catching his breath.

"No WAY!" He yelled angrily, looking up to see Matsu soaring over the pit in a single bound and coming down on him fast. He only had time to lift the guitar over his head before the Tianzun came down and slashed across the strings on one of the necks, causing an earsplitting screech to reverberate through Mike's skull. The ghostly apparitions of his band members are blown backward in tandem with the screech as if struck by the sound itself, before disappearing into thin air.

Mike pushed against Matsu's sword with all of his strength, trying to push her into the mosh pit, but she was much stronger than she looked. Grabbing hold of both necks on the guitar, he pulls the guitar apart to reveal two large axe blades hidden inside of the body, one on each half. Mike holds the Tianzun up with one half of the guitar and swings the other half at Matsu.

[member="Matsu Xiangu"]

Matsu was not the kind of person too proud to admit when someone had some serious power behind them – if she had been Jedi, that blast of a riff might have literally torn her to pieces. The only reason she could withstand it was the nature of the beast: whatever he drew from was dark, and so her power protected her somewhat.

The shriek that sounded when her sword connected with his guitar was maddening, made all her nerves sing and her teeth ache. It made her want to take Tianzun and hack downwards until he disappeared – make it stop, make it stop! His bandmates disappeared just as the sound died out, snapping with a collapse of air audible even over the gnashing and groaning and wet, meaty smacks of the moshpit behind them.

She grinned when he pulled his guitar apart in to two separate weapons, pushing back as hard as she could. They seemed to be locked in a stalemate, the stale stench of rot behind her and the loud growls in her ear as he pressed her back towards the horde that seemed to somehow instinctively avoid the warring powers. Throwing every stitch of control she had in to the sky she called a storm, pushing waves of air through her telekinetic control until the pressure differential caused thunder, lightning – a roiling thunderhead that shot a bolt right down at the guitarist just as Matsu ducked and slid out from near him.

She didn’t want to be connected to him when he fried.

[member="Metalhead Mike"]

Matsu ducks under the swing of his axe and swiftly moves to the side just as a bolt of lightning flashes out from the clouds behind her and hits Mike. The force of it sends him flying back as he smashes through the wall of a nearby building, rolling to a stop on the floor inside.

He laid there motionless for a moment with electricity trailing through his hair before he started to push himself up and look back at Matsu. His metallic hair had absorbed most of the shock from the lightning, but part of his face was burned and it definitely felt like he broke something when he hit that wall. "... Fething queen!... If you strike me down I will become more powerful than you could possibly imagine. You can't kill the metal... The metal will live on."

Mike sees one of the halves to his guitar and picks it up before going further into the building and disappearing from the maiden's sight. He ran up some stairs and through some rooms, putting as much distance as he could between them. When he found a good place to rest, he would play music that would mask his force signature from the maiden and attract the zombies from outside, transforming the whole building into his own personal mad house.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WInipKKZmgg

A single screech of Mike's guitar echoed throughout the building from somewhere inside, causing all the lights to go out and Mike's band to start playing again. Their intangible spirits appeared before Matsu, staring at her maliciously as they played. Daring her to enter.

[member="Matsu Xiangu"]

His speech kind of reminded her of the time she’d come up against some Rhand sorcerers. They’d been convinced of some obscure branch of the Force as well and just as righteous. In contrast she hadn’t randomly broken their guitars, but she HAD broken in to what they considered their property. (But no one really OWNED that Cluster right? She had tried to tell them that but...anyway…) She had to admit that it didn’t really matter that she’d never seen the Force used in the particular way that this metal-haired musician wielded it – it worked.

The zombies surrounding them seemed attracted to the grinding, methodical grunge of the music pounding from within the madhouse. They ignored the tearing mouths of Matsu’s Tuk’ata, stepping over their fallen brothers as they moved to follow the sweet tone of metal. Matsu sent the sithspawn back to the rend in the earth they’d come from despite the urge to loose them in the building. They’d only get in the way, feasting and gorging on thoughtless corpses she could just cut down herself.

There was nothing to it but to do it and she ran inside only to be swallowed by a darkness so complete she wondered if part of his rock sorcery wasn’t to take away her vision within his domain. She could hear whispers in the dark, close then far. Something huge and wet slipped by in the darkness, the bulk of its presence pressing against her with the buzzing fear of being completely unable to see. She couldn’t feel the attacker’s signature in the Force and she might not have been able to concentrate to do so anyway.

Flashes of light – like strobes, lighting the darkness for one second and revealing horrors; faces melted long and low like plastic too close to fire, the metallic smell of blood, screams so loud she was certain she’d go deaf. She struggled for a flight of stairs, leaving behind the darkness and taking a deep breath only to see zombies that had managed to figure out how to climb and smash the windows out of the first level of the building, groaning and moaning as they flopped haphazardly on to the floor and started crawling.

Matsu ducked as the ‘whoosh’ of something flying past her head cut through the air, followed by the quick thunk of something lodging in the wall behind her. She had about three seconds to register a knife before she was moving – and just in time. They seemed to fly from nowhere and she let the Force guide her jumps through the rain of knives. She let out a hiss that seemed to have every zombie turning its head to follow her progress as a knife sliced through her good arm, her bicep tearing open. Oh, he was in trouble now.

She let her rage take over as blood started pooling down her own, welling through the fabric of her clothes. Closing her eyes she pressed bloodied fingers to her Temple and pressed outwards with a surge of power. She thought of the most sugary-sweet pop music she could, complete with vapid, idiotic lyrics about having a crush and dancing in the sun and any other anti-metal sentiment she could possibly think of, pressing it outwards through the building, in to the minds of anyone sentient. If this didn’t bother him, nothing would.

[member="Metalhead Mike"]

Mike stood in the next room over, starring through the wall at Matsu with pitch black eyes as she jumped around the room dodging knives. One of them cuts into her arm, and Mike smiles as the zombies move in for the kill when suddenly he started to hear music in his head. Music that completely contrasted the music he was trying to play.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-GLuydiMe4

"...What the-......... Oh god......." He thought as his eyes faded back to normal. "......... Why is this happening?............Why is-...... What?...... No!........ Oh god, WHY?!" It was the catchiest, most annoying song that had ever been stuck in Mike's head. It was so annoying, he couldn't even keep playing his guitar, and the zombies all stop moving and fall down. Clutching his head in agony, Mike looks at his hand and concentrates all the metal power he has left into it. His fingers curl in to form a heavy metal symbol before he thrusts his hand at the wall, hitting it with a heavy metal infused force push and blowing it to pieces. Chunks off the wall fly into Matsu, breaking her concentration and stopping the music in Mike's head.

Before the maiden had time to recover, Mike jumps out of the building through a window head first and falls falls one floor down to the street. Landing on the ground, he looks back at the building to see the other half of his guitar laying outside and holds his hand out, calling it back to him with the force. Once it reaches him he grabs it by the neck and smacks the two halves together, smashing the strings against each other and creating a massive shock wave that vibrates through the building. The ferocious vibrations crack through the walls and support columns, making the building collapse in on itself and start to fall over.

[member="Matsu Xiangu"]

His signature became apparent in the Force almost the minute she began pumping annoying generic pop in to any sentient minds around, his concentration seeming to fumble in the wake of so much forced joy. It made it easy to track him a few rooms over just in time to see the wall blow apart and watch him disappear out of it and down on to the street. They’d passed in to populated territory, the people of Annaj screaming and terrified as the fight took itself from the more industrial area of the city to its business sector, citizens sprinting out of the way of the metal-haired man and the cataclysmic vibrations caused by his guitar as it snapped back together and shot a crack right up through the foundations of the building Matsu was still standing in.

“Feth…” she muttered, knowing that now this was getting messy. She would have preferred to bring her attacker down on her own, drag him back to the Fringe’s prisons and experiment on him – such strange powers! – but with the rest of the city threatened it was only a matter of time before the elite forces of Annaj’s special forces arrived on the scene. They were no threat to Matsu as a member of the Fringe, but it would add a level of difficulty to Mike’s fight.

Matsu leapt from the hole in the wall he’d left behind as the building started collapsing, pushing downwards with the Force and manipulating the air to push her higher as she sent a blast of force-punch towards him – over and over, pushing herself higher and higher in to the air until she let up her assault and started diving back towards Earth, unsheathing Tianzun in one hand and igniting her saber in the other as she fell towards him.

[member="Metalhead Mike"]

As the people ran from the collapsing building they would spot Mike and run away from him screaming. Some of them were hurt, and more of them were still trapped inside as the structure fell. Mike lowered his head in shame, realizing that he had become what he was always afraid of. The man who killed his band and their adoring fans. The man he was doomed to be without Maria.

"It's all her fault..." He thought, clenching the axes in his hands as his shame turns to anger. It was the dark maiden that was responsible for this chaos. She took Maria away from him, and now he was nothing but a wild force of nature. His hatred for her boiled inside of him, giving him a second wind as Matsu leaped out of the falling building. Mike looks up at her with an infuriated look in his eyes and snaps the two axes back together, forming the complete double neck guitar again.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PX6ZyHgfEb0

Mike starts playing hard and fast, screaming at the top of his lungs and letting his rage spiral out of control. A strong force barrier erects in front of himself that takes the brunt of the impact from Matsu's force punches. The barrier brakes down after every hit, but the faster Mike played the faster the barrier was regenerated. As her last attack shatters his force barrier, Mike scowls up at the maiden and separates his guitar back into two axes before pushing down with the force and leaping up to meet her in mid air.

Their weapons clash, sending a shock wave of force and rock expanding across the area. They push off of each other and fall to the ground, landing on their feet and engaging in close combat while the sirens from Annaj's special forced echoed in the distance, growing closer.

[member="Matsu Xiangu"]

Matsu was pretty adept at force barriers – as came with the territory when you abandoned weaponry for the most part – but even still she had to be impressed by the metal-scream-powered shield that the man managed to erect around himself. But she let her rage take over, her eyes glowing amber and her cheeks hollowing with the nonstop flow of Sith magic she could tap. One last force push had the barrier shattering, his glare upwards clear to her even all the way up in the air.

They were only in the air for a moment – a glorious burst of sound as her sword swept over the halved strings of his guitar – before they found the ground and met each other parry for riposte, forcing her to use all her knowledge of Makashi to avoid his movements. She could hear the blaring alarms of Annaj’s Special Forces approaching in the distance…approaching…were they? The blare was loud but came no closer despite their battle lurching on and on – she would never win this way, swordplay wasn’t her strong suit.

She was just wondering if that metal head of hair protected him from a new mental barrage when a hideous, ear-splitting roar of rage sounded down the street they’d cleared in their flurry of activity. She brought her hand up in the moment of distraction she could find and pushed as hard as she could with the force, trying to blast him backwards and buy her a moment to look over her shoulder at whatever it was that sounded so hungry and angry.

She wished she hadn’t.

A Glycon, huge and bloodied, stood with shoulders heaving in rage as it stared down the pair who’d ceased trying to kill each other once it had announced itself. Mounted on its shoulders were enormous carbines seemingly wired to the skull of the beast – Matsu did not like the implications of that. It appeared to be wearing a mask, whether it provided increased vision she wasn’t sure but it appeared it could see better than the creatures were usually known for.

Turning her head to her opponent she gave him an almost resigned look before tilting her head in the direction of the monster. She didn’t say anything – her ears were kind of ringing from all the metal and she didn’t trust her words to come out right when she couldn’t hear well – but her expression said it all: they either teamed up or increased the chances of one of them dying in the next three minutes exponentially.

[member="Metalhead Mike"]

The Fighting was messy and brutal. Every clash of saber against metal wore away at Mike's axes and sent violent sound waves vibrating through the air around them. After a couple of minutes they were both covered in blood and bruises but neither side would stop until a force push from Matsu sent Mike flying back and into the ground. He quickly rolls onto his knees and starts to get up when he looks back to see the Glycon towering over the buildings in the distance and coming toward them.

At first he thought it was something else the dark maiden had conjured up, but the look on her face said otherwise. Any suspicion he had was put to rest when the guns on the behemoth's shoulders began firing at them both. The rain of lasers descended upon them and they ran for cover behind a nearby building while the creature's thunderous footsteps grew closer as it smashes its way through the city.

Mike turns to Matsu accusingly. "WHAT IS THAT?!"

[member="Matsu Xiangu"]

Matsu was catching her breath when the man looked at her with a look of accusation, as if she’d called a giant beast of a thing down on both of them to rain laserfire on purpose. In truth she had never seen a Glycon up close – she’d only heard their roars, watched them stomp through fields of men and savage everything in their path. Unlike most animalistic counterparts used in war, Glycons were unique in that they were somewhat sentient, coming up with their own ideas and even capable of some speech. Granted their ideas were usually simple and somewhat stupid but it was still always more daunting fighting against something that could form plans against you rather than reacting instinctually alone.

“What, you think this is MY fault??” she asked, her usual sea-glass smooth tone snapped slightly by the effort of their duel and the sprint to safety. “It’s a Glycon – I don’t know what it’s doing here. The Sith use them primarily, wire guns or explosives to their nervous systems.”

She paused, peeking around the corner of the building they’d hidden behind and watching the beast come closer, the ground shaking beneath its feet. They didn’t have much time. The carbines mounted on its shoulders were long and the way she saw it, they had two plans of action to choose from. “If we stay close it can’t use the carbines, but we might get crushed…but I think I can grip it with the Force, give you enough time to reach the wiring for the carbines and break it. Then we can take it from there,” she said, too hesitant to plan ahead when everything was already so unexpected.

Of course, the man with the guitar might have a less suicidal idea.

[member="Metalhead Mike"]

"We??" He said spitefully. "No, theres no we! You killed Maria you FETHING SLU-" Suddenly Mike was interupted by a loud angry roar of the approaching creature that echoed through the streets, seeming to form a coherent word.

"MMIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEK!"

Mike paused for a moment, staring blankly to the side of the building before looking back at Matsu. "... Ok how do we kill it." He said, giving her the same accusing stare. "If that thing really isn't YOURS then YOU go break the carbines!" The thought of helping the dark maiden was sickening. But if she were to fight the beast, maybe they would kill each other.

[member="Matsu Xiangu"]

Matsu had to prevent herself from pinching the bridge of her nose, rolling her eyes, and sighing when the man told her to go break the carbines herself if the Glycon truly wasn’t hers. "Killing it I haven't gotten to yet - if we don't get those guns taken care of we're going to have a hard time with any sort of feasible plan anyway." Despite being Sith, she had never joined a purely Sith faction. She was used to working with others, even Jedi (granted, the ones with fewer scruples and less holier adherence to the original order), and had gotten quite good at it. She was a telekinetic master – she had offered to hold the beast because she was pretty confident in her ability to stop it from grabbing the guitarist and turning him in to a pancake on the side of one of Annaj’s buildings after tossing him aside.

But he could play it the hard way if he wanted to.

“Fine then – keep him distracted,” she said, taking off to the right, pressing a Force push downwards and springing off the ground, leaping between windowsills and overhangs until she’d reached the roofs where she hoped to make a less noticeable approach towards the beast’s head. The sooner she could get those carbines offline, the sooner she could get back to trying to kill the insufferable metalhead.
