The Least Essential Character in the Star Wars Canon?

Seriously, has there ever been a less essential character than Lumpawarrump?

(Note: I said "least essential," not "least likable." Jar Jar Binks was essential to the prequel trilogy.)

As far as characters go, Jedi Master Ki Adi Mundi. Or the entire Cerean species.

They show up for the prequel. Never mentioned again in the films until Episode III, and then he's killed off.

Objection, Jar-Jar did grant emergency powers to the Chancellor and pretty much start that whole mess in motion. Bad Jar-Jar, but essential Jar-Jar.

I personally think Droidbait was the least essential character. He made it past training (didn't really help or hinder there), and died on his first assignment (Rishi Moon Outpost). We actually only ever heard his name once, and it was pretty much in passing.
