The Je'daii Mission Terminal

Welcome to the Je'daii Mission Terminal.
Every so often (no fixed time frame for now) this thread will be updated with new missions for any of you to carry out.

Some are able to be done by multiple people, in multiple different threads, (for instance, any which involve generic training or aid efforts), whereas others should really be a one-off. These will be marked either Repeatable or Unique.

Repeatable Mission threads can be titled whatever you would like, given that there'll possibly be more than one of them completed.

Come together in order to complete these, or slip them into other roleplays with your Je'daii away from the Faction itself.

You should treat these missions as prompts, meaning you have full creative liberty on how they are carried out. Simply post here once you've completed it, so we can have a read!

Missions will count toward your Je'daii Trials; completing one for each Temple will result in your Knighthood / promotion to Ranger. Obviously you only need to do one for Anil Kesh, despite the fact that the missions have been split into two different categories.

Ideas for missions can be PM'd to myself either through the Forum or Discord, and will be added if deemed appropriate.

  1. Facing Your Demons | Anywhere

Everybody has skeletons in their closet, deep-rooted fears, something which holds them back from becoming the best version of themselves, even Je'daii Masters.

While I understand that this will be no easy feat, I task you with carrying out a journey of self-discovery - face those fears, those demons from your past, whatever they may be, and reemerge a stronger individual.

  2. All Creatures Great And Small | Nar Shaddaa

A trafficking ring has been uncovered on the sordid moon of Nar Shaddaa, smuggling both sentient and non-sentient lifeforms across the Galaxy to act as slaves or unlawful exhibitions.

We have unearthed information concerning their next big shipment, and it is your duty to intercept it before the individuals onboard become a series of names on a missing persons' board. Apprehend anyone involved in this heinous crime, and see to it that the victims get home safely.

  1. Discovering The Unknown | Anywhere

There is so much about this Galaxy we inhabit that we do not yet know. Star systems hidden away within the void, planets untouched by sentient life, creatures lurking on forest floors...

As Je'daii we are tasked with studying all there is to know of the Force and that which is touched by it. Venture out into the Galaxy, seek out knowledge of planets or lifeforms previously unknown to us, and document it as best you can.

  1. Cultural Acclimation | Anywhere

The Galaxy is filled with all manner of individuals, whose lives vary considerably from our own. If we are to have any hopes of truly rendering aid throughout the countless systems, surely we should try to know their inhabitants on a deeper level.

I would like you to spend some time among a culture which is foreign to you. Immerse yourself within it, learn their language, the intricacies of their customs and beliefs... Find out what truly makes them who they are.

  1. The Missing Link | Anywhere

The Gulag Plague wiped out most of what was once known. Archives were laid bare, tomes we had taken for granted were no longer available to us, and the Galaxy fell into a darkness.

Those tomes are still out there, holocrons, datacrons, sheets of flimsiplast laced with information, they lay scattered about the Galaxy without a home. Find some of this lost knowledge, bring it back to the Silent Archive so that it can once again be used to broaden minds.

  1. Healing The Broken | Anywhere

Chaos rules this Galaxy, ever at war there are always casualties strewn across battlegrounds. Men and women at the mercy of higher powers who are hungry to expand.

Venture into one of these battlefields, seek out those who need your assistance regardless of which side they might fight for. Render aid in whatever way you can, and use it as an opportunity to do some good while practicing your medical abilities.

  1. For The Future | Anywhere

Our Order is filled with individuals from all manner of backgrounds, each with unique skillsets. What you may know, someone else may see as foreign.

Take time out of your schedule to lead a lesson or training session on a subject of your choosing. This can be hosted to a group or on an individual basis. Ensure that the knowledge and abilities you have are passed on to the next generation, after all as Je'daii it is our duty to learn all that we can of the Force and all it envelops.

  1. Aiding The Misfortunate | Anywhere

War does not affect only those on the battlefield; it is capable of touching communities far from the fights, places left without men and women to help keep everything running smoothly, towns in dire need of repair yet lacking in the resources to do so.

Head out into the Galaxy, it will not take you long at all to find a person, or a group of people, to aid in some way. From helping to build new homes, or source clean water, or replant so that they can see another harvest, there'll be something out there that you can do to help.

  1. Honing Your Skills | Anywhere

A warrior must always be prepared to fight should the need arise. To defend those who are incapable of helping themselves, to protect against enemies which may lurk in the darkness.

Find a suitable opponent and engage in a friendly spar or, if the need arises, a true duel. It does not matter if you win or lose, so long as you gain valuable experience. Be warned, however, your opponent must be a trained foe, not a civilian.

  2. Form Zero | Anywhere

Sometimes violence is not the best route forward. Knowing when to use alternate methods is a skill that takes time, but it is very rewarding in the end. A warrior who is able to control their impulses and find a better path is one who should be feared when they do decide to unsheath their blade.

I want you to practice this technique wherever possible, solve the problems you face against others without resorting to violence. Talk your way out of it, utilize the Force to calm your opposition, disarm them before they can land a blow. The opportunities are endless if you really think about it.

  1. Leaving A Mark | The Silent Forge

Before lightsabers became a thing, our people relied upon the use of Force-imbued weapons - items which they would forge with their own hands. It is a very taxing art, one which tested a Je'daii's very place within the Force.

I challenge you to utilize this ancient technique and make a blade likes the ones of old. You may find me in the Forge when you're ready to begin...

(End Goal: Submit a Force-Imbued weapon to the Factory)
